Dad is now with mom and at peace. Love you, dad. You will be missed.  My condolences, TheOtherMe , you have been committed and loving daughter with the care you have given him. I just went through similar as my 86 year old father died 11 days ago just over two months after being diagnosed with acute leukemia. It was on honor to be with him as much as I could in the 3 weeks he was on hospice. (Hospice people were great!) Funeral was last Friday. It and was by far the hardest homily (sermon) I've ever given. |

TheOtherMe- I am sorry to read of your dad’s passing but I am so thankful he went quickly. Please take comfort in knowing that you have been and always will be a true blessing to that man. The care you have shown him, the absolute love and concern for his well being, did not go unnoticed by him (even when he was not all quite there, he knew). You did everything and more for him, you are truly an incredible human being. ❤️ Sending you lots of love and peace through the coming days and weeks.
