$409.76 and I need to find a receipt. I sent my DH to get lunch meat and bottled water. I'll say $425 probably.
April should be less for groceries. We will be away for 9 days over two trips.

Finally found the receipt, $419.96 for March.
$13.57 so far for April. We have one weekend trip and a vacation so spending should be lower. We've done a much better job in 2019 of eating at home.

Oh goodness, I spend a lot on food. The boys are growing and eating more by the day. I spent $72 at Aldi yesterday on food alone. I will need to go to Sams Club this weekend (there are several things we like there) - that will probably be another $80-$100. Back to the grocery store next week for eggs, milk, fresh veggies, fruit and deals. I'm sure if I add up just the food we are at about $1000/mth. I could use up what we have in the pantry and this month would be less, but I have a hard time passing up deals that I know we will eat. I'm going to track what we spend this month.

Kroger/City Market is having their 10 for $10 sale. Because we are completely out of several things, I took advantage. Bought 2 boxes of organic broth, 4 cans Dole pineapple, and 4 cans Rotel for $10. Also bought some fresh produce and deli sliced chicken. Total $42.61. I ended up going to Sam's last Saturday and spent quite a bit (again, we were out of a lot of things), but they were offering $45 off your entire order if you signed up for their Mastercard. If it were the usual 10% stores offer, I wouldn't have, but $45? Woo hoo! I won't carry a balance, of course. Total for March $282.76 food, $94.87 HBAs. Wow. So much for my $200 goal.

I've been meaning to get a Sam's credit card just for the gas points. I just haven't done it yet. There are so many things that I've been meaning to do that I haven't done.

I have spent $370 this month so far, but at least $25 is for flowers, but they make me happy. So a bit less. A lot of money though and not even through week 2.

Not to hijack thread but I hope your rewards are as good as my Sam's MC. Only reason I keep Sam's membership since I don't buy much there.

Thanks, NoNamePerson! All I remember is there is a no annual fee, and there is X% cash back on Sam's Club purchases. Looking forward to comparing the fuel points as andi9899 mentioned to the ones we receive with our grocery value card. Spent $42.61 so far this month on produce, deli meat, an HBA and a few other things. Going to the store this evening, however.

Mine is 5% on gas, 3% dining and travel, 1% on every thing else. Doesn't have to be on Sam purchases. Cash back redeemable in February. Wonder if different states have different guidelines. Think MPL has same rewards as me. I put everything on it except Target purchases.

When I receive the CC fine print, I'll report back.

Received more information re: the Sam's card via email, nothing in the mail yet. Indeed it says earn cash back wherever MC is accepted. 3% dining, 3% travel and 1% everywhere. 5% cash back on eligible gas worldwide ($6,000 per year, then 1%). This will be helpful when traveling. Went to WW last night and spent $91.75. I really need to not shop when I'm under the weather. I go too slow. Only $65.66 of it was food and beverages, though, mostly for an upcoming camping trip. The other portion was Shout refill and a few HBAs.

Another $45 so $415 for the month, too much.
I really like the receipes in the no fat, low fat cookbook. I think there are a lot in there DD and hubs will like.
I stopped and got a tuna sandwich in town, that thing was soooo big. I gave half to the dog, ate half and it may replace dinner this evening, it was huge. I need to cook that salmon though or it will spoil.

UGH! I just spent a little over $100 at the grocery store this morning. It has been 10 days though, and most of what I bought was produce - other than the 2 gorgeous swordfish steaks I picked up for dinner tonight. I'm not sure what the total is for this month so far, probably around $225 or so and we are only 1/3 the way through the month.

I am at $155.76 so far in April, so I am on track. We had to make a huge pot of soup for our church's Lenten dinner this week, but the ingredients were surprisingly cheap and we still have a couple of servings left for dinner tonight.

Me and two boys.
$350/month groceries $123/school lunch $50/eating out
Been tracking for a long time, so that's pretty close to the norm. Grocery line item is only groceries, I don't include any household with it.

$228.25 so far for April. There was a $100 Target trip that included printer ink and stocking up on baking supplies with the 25% off Cartwheel coupon.
We shouldn't need to spend much if anything this week prior to vacation. We are leaving Thursday night. Maybe bread for lunches, that's about it.

If we go and buy bulk meat this week, probably $400 or so for that.

Stopped at a new to me butcher shop yesterday. $37.26. Maybe I'm pleased with the purchases... On Thursday, stopped at the grocery store. I don't separate costs grocery/household... Stocked up on TP, Paper Towel, Health... some produce, ouch.. $101.20. Coupled with the first week (4-1- 4-7 total of ) $126.80.
I really hadn't thought much about what I/we spend on grocery. Yes, I'm aware it's a bunch. Thanks for the thread. It certainly is making me pay more attention to this.
