Vacation got the step count way up there as expected. I did decent with meal choices. Back home now and hoping to do 70k steps this week.
Meals are planned out for the week.

Weekly check in
Hit step and calorie burn goal. Eating and sleeping could be improved.
This weeks goals steps 85000 calorie burn 14050. Log food including the weekend. Log water. In bed by 11:00.
Weight has crept up a bit. I know I ate very poorly with too many carbs and salt on Saturday.

I have a problem. As I’ve adjusted to the meds for my ADHD, I’ve lost a couple more pounds. Fine. I’m at a healthy BMI and I’m fine with my weight plus or minus 5lbs in either direction. The problem is that 3lbs apparently encompasses MY WHOLE ASS. I woke up one day and it was gone. Everything that was there either deflated or dropped 4 inches. Totally flat. Old lady ass.
Given my booty has never been anything but present and accounted for, I don’t even know what to do. Squats I guess? Like, what else can I do to at least put some muscle back?
I knew saggy boobs would get me sooner or later (sooner) but it never occurred to me that my ass would just completely bail overnight.

Definitely squats and lunges. The kettlebell routine I used to do was great for my butt. Lots of squats and lunges while swinging a kettlebell.

Barely hit step goal. Hit calorie burn goal. Eating okay during week. Did a little better on the weekend however it still needs improvement.
This week I am backing step goal back to 80000. I have meetings 2 evenings this week. The weather may increase my commute time. Calorie burn is still at 14000.
Have a great week everyone.

Squats, deadlifts, spin class, time in the hip abductor, glute bridges, etc. If you want to get the girls back, work your chest. Chest presses or bench presses, push ups, etc. You can download free workout apps that will give you exercises for specific muscle groups.

My planned breast reduction will eventually take care of that.

The ball of my foot under my big toe has been pretty sore for weeks now. My mom had the most awful bunions you've ever seen, and one of my older sisters started to get them a few years ago. I think it is happening to me now too. Losing weight would probably help. I'm also looking at inserts. I have superfeet for my tennis shoes, but am thinking I might need to go to a podiatrist too. Ugh.

Hit step and calorie burn goal. There is always room for improvement in the eating category.
My stretch goal in steps is going to be 90000. Will be happy if I hit 85000. I only have to work 2 days this week so I should have extra time to get in steps. Calorie burn goal 14750.

With this colder weather, my monthly steps have declined a bit. But it’s been so glorious to get some extra sleep! I’m running a Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving, and then going to a buffet for dinner. I’m SURE the calories I burn will make up for the calories I’m going to eat right? Besides, c alories don’t really count on Thanksgiving
I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday!

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday!Since calories don't count on Thanksgiving, you running is burning calories gained by not walking as much. I call that a win.

Couple things. We went on a trip in mid-November, and I've not been able to find my FitBit charger since I got home. It's been two full weeks now, and I'm annoyed. However, I'm not sure I want to spend $150 on a new set-up. We'll see. There will be deals for New Year's if I decide to do that.
I've decided that I either have to spend money on new clothes or on a food plan. Getting dressed for work especially has become difficult as none of my skirts fit. The ones I can still get on leave welts and cinch marks on my waist if I actually wear them. I have purchased three new pairs of pants so I have something to wear to work, but otherwise, I'm now an Optavia person. It's Day 6 for me. Days 3, 4, & 5 were painful regarding withdrawal symptoms of massive headaches and nausea. This morning I feel okay. I have lost five pounds since last Monday. I haven't had heartburn this entire week, so that's nice just in and of itself. I am excited about it being far more focused on a lifestyle change than simply as a diet. I'm not one to spend money on myself, so this is a major decision for me.

Had a good step and calorie burn total. Indulged a bit too much at the Christmas pot luck. Had a few too many adult beverages over the weekend.
Hoping for another good step week. Goal will be 95000.

Hit step goal. Not so good on food intake. Weight is starting to creep back up. Need to work on limiting adult beverages, salt and carbs.
I am going to set a goal of 100,000. My last 2 weeks have been over 100,000.

I've joined a new FB weight-loss group. It's going from Jan 1-May 27. We'll see how that goes. I decided to start weight-training, and already did my first session. I started out easy due to my injuries and general oldness, so I was barely sore. I get a better workout from the kettlebell, but I'll keep at it. I think my body-type will naturally respond to this, since I'm more muscular than many women. We'll see, I guess.
My DH started back with the weights, too. He's had a more severely limiting injury than me, so hopefully he'll be able to keep it up.
I got some chocolate for Christmas, and I was like, why? I don't even want it. Why do people insist on giving that crap. (Okay, I wouldn't be able to resist one certain kind of chocolate, but I fortunately didn't get that one! 😅) I'm also thinking about all the donuts and cookies people bring into work. Why oh why? Is it really being nice to tempt people with all that sugar and fat that 99% of us don't need? How about something healthy and yummy instead? Alright, rant over...😉

Prior to Christmas Eve, I'm down ten pounds. I've eaten what used to be a normal amount of food the past three days, but is so much more than I have been eating.

Boyfriend gave me an apple watch 3 for Christmas. I like the way it feels on my wrist better than the fitbit alta I had. I haven't had much time to play around with it, but look forward to using it. One thing I like is it periodically tells me to stop and do deep breathing for 60 seconds. I also like seeing the progress on activity on the screen instead of having to check my phone.

Weekly check in.
The only thing I can say about last week was I hit my step goal.
This week I again will be aiming for 100,000 in steps. Hope to keep food, salt, carbs and adult beverages in check. Really need to watch or all my progress will disappear.

I lost 19 pounds this year. Not as much as I had hoped, but better than nothing. Is there going to be a 2020 thread? Or did I miss it?
