I hope for 350,000 steps per month not per week.
That number of steps is insane.

I know!!!! He's at 948K right now. I hate him. 380,000 steps is nearly 180 miles. That does not computer. My husband is a distance runner and has maybe run 100 miles in a week once or twice, if ever. Me thinks this leader puts his Fitbit on the family pet. :-) I have to agree! I just looked at my Garmin and the most steps I have ever had in a day is 62k - I ran a marathon that day and walked another 10 miles around Disney World afterwards. There is no way someone can do that number of steps every day.

I was thinking that too. I'm really active and my best month so far has been about 460K. Not that there aren't people more active than me, but 900K+ is insane.

I sort of assumed that he works for the Parks department or something but it is a ridiculous amount of steps. He's 7K steps away from a million.

There is no way he's to a million steps for 10 days. He's cheating.

I asked my coworker if she knows who he is, because I don't and didn't find his name in the phone directory (which supports non desk job) but she thinks he drives a bus. ETA: we're at more than 10 days in, it started on August 19th, but it's still a lot of steps. His closest competition is at 551K

I was thinking it was running by month like our step challenge.

I have been falling behind on my steps lately. I had a few days off and I didn't walk as much as I usually do. I regret nothing.

I've since asked an IT buddy and the dude is an administrator but supposedly spends a stupid amount of time walking/running. Whatever, it's still nuts.

Made it back to the gym a week later. It was a serious struggle but I made it. I forgot to use my inhaler before I left. I guess it helped more last week than I thought.

Back to tracking in mfp. Today I didn't feel like I was going to gnaw my own arm off for once, and hit all of their macros so hopefully thats a sign things are happening.
Also trying to find a gym or trainer to give me some new kettlebell workouts or try out boxing. Both would help my jiu-jitsu and I could continue them at home. I want to increase my aerobic workouts, but food is the focus. Ive been more active than ever this summer with only weight gain to show for it (definitely not muscle) so I can't get lax with that piece.

Hit step goal and calorie burn goal.
Did okay on getting to bed by 11:00. Could use a bit of improvement.
Snacking needs to be kept in check.
Going to drop step goal to 70000. Had a tooth pulled today. Not going to get in too many more steps today. I will put calorie burn goal at 13800. In bed by 11:00 at least 5 days. No snacking after 8:00 PM.

My steps are heading back in the right direction. I did better with getting to bed at a decent time. Not so good on water intake. Did good eating at home and bringing lunch.
Trying to work on stress relief as well. Work has just been stupid for the past six weeks.
It's a struggle to get all the pieces together in the same week. I keep trying.

wvugurl26 I know what you mean about stress. From the last week of August until mid October my work is always extremely busy.

He's definitely cheating!
I'm sad the weather is turning colder and yucky. The nicer weather makes it easy to go for a walk after dinner. We are trying to get back to the gym but this week before vacation is just brutal.
