If I drank that much I could never get out of the bathroom. I don't know how you do it. I hope to continue losing, 44 pounds that is wonderful. I hope to lost 15 and don't know if I can even do that. I'm down about 9 now. That's over about 3 weeks and being sick too. I haven't drank any soda today and its about all I can do to stay awake today. I'm trying to stop it. I have read about how totally bad it is for you, I knew, but from what I read yesterday its even worse then I knew. If only I could get DD to stop drinking it. It explained how it caused you to gain weight even on the diet stuff. INITIALLY, you pee a lot because your bladder isn't used to it. It adjusts, and you don't spend all your time in the bathroom. I drink a LOT of water, and my pee runs clear. I pee normally.

I haven't been here in so long I'm not getting notices in my "participated" section. I set that 10 lb goal how long ago? 12 pounds to go I just can't seem to care at all. Once again - for the 20th time since the beginning of the year -- I am going to try to stick to healthy eating. I have probably consumed over 2000 calories in the past 2 weeks just on chocolate. I am going to try to cut out all sweets and soda. Ugh...I'm never going to have the willpower. And I need to get back to daily exercises. I've been trying to stick with healthy eating since late 2016. I don't know if it's because I don't care enough or I don't set reasonable goals or what. Sigh. In my case, there's no real motivation to do better. I am not motivated in general, I do what I need to do to live indoors and have food and clothing and have no burning desire to do more than that. Looking or feeling better doesn't motivate me and my health isn't currently bad. So, no "outside" factors making me feel like I need to change things. If that makes sense. KNOWING I should take better care of myself doesn't translate to WANTING to, I guess you could say.

I would just be happy to be able to wear shirts that are form fitting without the bulges on the side of my stomach. Is that so much to ask for? I just finished Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30 Days. We will see how I feel tomorrow. I am going to get all my healthy snacks and meals ready for tomorrow so maybe I can stick to it one day.

still kind of on a salt kick. oops. but I repurposed leftovers for dinner, so I'm at least a YM win? 🤷♀️ Shark Week isn't even close to a week for me, so I guess there's that. and I've got fried rice packed up for lunch tomorrow. salad for dinner tomorrow night.
didn't get out with the pups today, it was damn cold when I got home. tomorrow is going to be 50, after snowing overnight. go home, Mother Nature, you're drunk.

I don't have bulges but I'm overweight, at least not on my stomach or abdomen. I have some on my hips and they are bigger then they need to be. I can wear more form fitting clothes and I look fine but just because I can camouflage it doesn't not make it fine. I know 160 wouldn't kill me, I have lost height of an inch or more, so right at 164 or less now 5'8" was 5'9 1/4". I don't know if I can get to 163. I was very skinny when I was young, until I had my kids, never been skinny since. I am considered big boned but suppose that is just an excuse. At one time many years ago I got to 215, never again, never have. I lost 40 pounds but crept back up to 189. Ate way to much.
125 to 163 lbs. normal 164 to 196 lbs. overweight 197 to 256 lbs. obese
I was at 179, I hate to see it now, I have eaten to much today, so will take a few days to get rid of it. I am really struggling with sodas, I hadn't drank any for 2 1/2 days and I would get up in the morning and literally be so exhausted I had to go back to bed. I did this morning at 9 lay down, slept till 11:30. I can't do that. I drank 2 real medium cokes today, before that I was literally shaking, this was day 3 and it was getting worse.. Wow, I guess I can't quit cold turkey and going to have to wean me off of it gradually. I feel like this must be how a druggy feels when trying to get off something, this is awful.
Hubs said drink tea but if I put real sugar in it instead of artificial that isn't going to help. Tonight I'm going to drink just water and chamomile tea before I go to bed, but because I had soda and tea today probably will be awake tonight. I will work at it and see what I can do. This time I am doubly determined because I cannot handle the weight on my feet.

To cut out sugar entirely if you eat/drink it often doesn't sound sustainable. Wean yourself off of it if you really want to give it up. If you don't, eat the sweets. Just be smart about it. I was reading an article about Julian Michaels and she said she has something sweet every day. Not to sound like I'm a picture of health or anything, but I did lose 40 pounds. I eat sweets. I have an occasional soda. I had one today even. You guys read about my cheating on my diet all the time. You can have the things you want, you just have to have healthier alternatives sometimes.

We had a clearance event at the PT job and some newish swimwear was on clearance and there was an extra 50% off of it. I got a swim top for $5. I have some spandex boy shorts that I can wear with it. Woot! Once I'm healed from my surgery I'll post a picture wearing it.

I just realized Zumba is NOT going to work. I teach a 5-week module on Wed and Thurs late afternoon/evening from mid-May to mid-June, 45 min away. Oh well. I even looked into my local gym (which I hated when I was a member many moons ago.) They offer VIRTUAL Zumba classes on a giant screen! I can just do youtube videos at home for free. I think I'm going to try that.
The Thurs evening instructor offers a 10-session card. It might be worth getting that in September, but not now.
Also to be honest after 4.5 months of rehearsals 2-3 times a week, I really don't want any more (non-work) commitments for a while.

Weigh-in: Jan 4 - 158.5; Feb 22 - 156.5 Ate a donut this morning - more importantly - it was a cream stick with chocolate frosting. Delicious.

Kayla Itsines also has a work-out circuit app. I follow her on FB, but I haven't actually subscribed to her app yet. I've also used the Sworkit app. They have portions that are free and portions that are paid.

I cut my splenda use down again. I was putting 4 in my morning coffees, and several months ago cut it to three and found I couldn't tell a bit of difference. This morning I cut down to 2 packs. I can taste a difference this time but not enough to want to use more, and I know with some time my taste buds will adjust. I never thought I'd be able to cut my use down to 2, so not sure if 1 is feasible. But I need to not worry about that now and explore it again in a few months.
Also I wanted to ask if anyone else has issues with coworkers always wanting to go out for lunch and then getting mad when you say no? A girl on my team started asking everyone to go. I don't mind the occasional team group lunch, but now she is up to asking about once a week. And we get food from work regularly. At least a couple times a month for meetings then every 3 months we get 2 days of breakfasts and lunches for our planning sessions. When we have a new hire or someone leaving we go as a big group. To me this is way more than enough. I've had 5 group lunches in about 4 months not counting all the meals brought in to the office. Now she asks to go on everyone's birthday. Okay, fine. I let my birthday pass in secret and our immediate team is small. Then she started just asking. Last week she wanted to go because she forgot her lunch. She asked everyone and I said no because I brought my food. For me it isn't just about food it is also about money. I'm not dual income anymore and I'd rather save the maybe one time a week I eat out for the weekend that way I don't have to cook. During the week I eat salads with chicken or steak. It is quick and easy to fix, and helps me stay on track with about a 1 pound loss each week. Eating out even one extra time and trading my low calroie but filling lunch for something with a lot more calories cuts my weight loss in half. So she's mad at me now because I said no. She told me I could eat my salad the next day. Yes, I did that once when we had pizza in the office, but that was my decision (that I regretted) not something I was pressured into. When they got back from lunch she told me I wasn't invited anymore. Oh how I wish that were true. I'll be moved off this team soon and I can't wait.

I was down another lb this morning, yay. 205 today. I just finished a relatively healthy breakfast - two over easy eggs on top of broiled asparagus and prosciutto, with scala bread for dipping. going to take the pups.out for a walk later when it warms up a little more.

I don't think I've been offsite for lunch unless it was to go home in months now that she's gone.

I'll admit that the last thing I wanted to do is eat lunch with people I work with all day. But I also left the office during lunch just to get out of the office and away from the phones. But on a side note I mostly worked in small outfits where sometimes it was just me and boss. I still left!!

I used to do sugar and milk in my coffee then one day decided to skip the sugar and still liked my coffee with just milk. I usually add cinnamon to my coffee. Adds a little something without actually adding anything extra. As for the coworker, ugh. Hopefully you aren't invited anymore! I work in Philly so we have many restaurants to walk to for lunch. Sometimes I ask my buddies if they want to go pick up something with me and if not, then that's cool. Sometimes they ask me to join, and if I brought something I want to eat or don't want what they are getting I will just join them for the walk. We do that all the time with each other. But if we needed to drive places then it would get annoying.

Um, yeah, that's childish of her. My issue wouldn't even be the calories but the money. I just don't want to spend my money like that so often. I wouldn't worry about her attitude. It's her issue, not yours.

Worked out a little this morning but also went door knocking for ballot petition signatures. If I was thinking I would have tracked it. I was out walking my ward from 12:30 until almost 4. Lots of walking and standing, walking and standing, but it had to have been worth something, especially since my town is a series of hills. My slate mate is running at large (I'm running just in my ward) and went door knocking in each ward and managed to cover six miles.

I caught the cold that everyone's been passing around at the office so decided instead of work from home to treat myself to a sick day. It's been raining for weeks and the weather was great yesterday and will be today and tomorrow too. I'm going to slug back as many hot waters with lemon, honey, and cayenne pepper as I can, enjoy some time on my back porch in the sun, and hopefully stop the cold before it gets worse. I'm sometimes able to do this.
Meanwhile I will hate all the people who insist on coming to work sick and not even trying to prevent the spread of germs. We have a very forgiving work from home policy, but people come in anyways "to get out of the house." And my period should start in a couple of days, just lovely. It's the worst to have your period while you are sick.

My slate mate is running at large (I'm running just in my ward) and went door knocking in each ward and managed to cover six miles. Did you have your phone with you? My iPhone has a built-in app that tracks steps and walking. Yes, but I disable all the standard Samsung bloatware. I use Strava and Map My Run but did not actually think to log until I saw my fellow running mate's stats.

Yoga (with accommodations for my arm): 60 minutes for the week 30 minutes
Water: 50 oz per day (350+ for the week) Only made it passed 50 oz on two days. Another day, I made it to 48 oz. My total for the week was 270 oz.
