The hospital is full of it. Today I helped a German man. It was refreshing.

We had over 700 babies born last month. Almost 500 of them were to illegals that can’t speak the language and now have a golden ticket. Besides the free delivery courtesy of taxpayers. One is in NICU. That’ll cost a pretty penny. This shit needs to end. this is an interesting set of assumptions. mind if i dissemble them? first of all, how do you know 500 were illegals? second, how do "they" have a golden ticket?
if you mean their kids, they absolutely will not have a golden ticket. i know, because basically all of my son's friends are "dreamers". and they are at an even greater disadvantage than those who are born here, and therefore citizens. they will have to overcome many obstacles to become successful here, and many will fail to do so, and end up in poverty, like their parents, despite their herculean efforts to assimilate (and, i might add, this is no fault of their own. it is entirely their parents "fault" for wanting a better life for them, and failing to do it in a way that did not put them at risk). this shit does need to end. it needs to end by having a better PR program, like most of the world has. our system is totally ridiculous.
"Dreamers" meaning they were not born here. Zib is pointing out those that are born here.. of course you already knew that, wanted to stir the pot!

those that are born here actually have MORE rights than dreamers. i pointed that out. apparently i was less than clear above. here, let me try again: 1) i know what dreamers are. 2) dreamers have fewer rights than persons born here. 3) i realize that zib was talking about persons born here. 4) my point is that whether they are born here OR NOT they are going to have problems, though obviously MORE SO if they were not. hope that was clear enough. happy new year.

To be clear...Zib was talking about babies born here to undocumented mothers. The babies would be citizens, not dreamers. That said, I have no clarity on her comments. I'm not sure what those numbers represent. 500 in the country, county, state, city, one hospital? And, I don't agree that there is a magical golden ticket if you are a citizen here. I believe we have proved that time and time again. i was clear on that, as the bold sentence indicates. Nothing on my app is bolded. It is irritating because so many use bold for many reasons on this board. I don't know why the app doesn't show it, or if it is only me.
