I was wondering if I could intrude as I don't participate here regularly but all of you seem so kind and I could use some quiet support. I just need someone to sit next to me and hold my hand, please. My heart is slowly bleeding and I'm running out of strength. I'm sorry. How can I help? You're welcome here any time. Hugs ♡ How are you?

I'm sorry. How can I help? You're welcome here any time. Hugs ♡ How are you? I’m hanging in there, thank you. I haven’t logged in all weekend but I read. Thank you all for your kind words, thank you for sitting with me, I appreciate it immensely. I was so scared for this weekend but it’s almost over now. Hopefully, just putting one foot in front of the other next few days, and then next few weeks, and then months from now and it will get better, little by little. Thank you all for being there for me, I cannot beging to tell you how much it all meant to me.

My doctor did do a bunch of labs and test because of my energy level to just check. I did have to take 12 weeks of Vitamin D, but that was the only thing that came up. For me it is focusing on a lot of meditation, mindfulness, celebrating the small things and giving myself grace for what I don't get done. A big part of my self motivation is knowing that I have done something positive, so I have a few friends that I send good morning messages too, or things that I think it will make them smile. It may be small, and at times may seem stupid but for me even if I just made them smile for 1/2 a second it gives me encouragement. At times I also try to treat myself like one of my students, kind try and look from it from the outside and go if one of my students was feeling like this/or behaving this way what I would I tell them to do. That actually helped a fair amount with just being okay with not getting some things done. I might only have a C at life right now, but that is passing and I am taking it. It is better than what it was. After a long sinus infection I needed vitamin D to fully be back to my usual self energy-wise. I'm glad things are better for you.

I've been feeling *blah* the last few days. It's been raining here everyday for the last couple of weeks. I get up and the sky is gray. I go to bed and the sky is gray. It's depressing. I'm not able to do anything outside because our yard is like a swamp right now. DH is trying to keep up with the pool and keeps falling behind because the rain reduces the chlorine in the water. Add to this mess that it got cooler the other day and hasn't warmed back up. I'm not sleeping well and I know that adds to it. I do take my daily nap, so I should be feeling rested. For whatever reason, I'm waking up a couple of times each night to go to the bathroom. I haven't changed anything in my habits, so I don't know where that is coming from. I have appointments every day this week. At least next week we're going to the casino for a day trip. It'll be nice to get out of the house for a day.

It sounds like a break is overdue, buystoys. Sometimes you get in a place where it's hard to just keep moving. Going away is a great response.

Today was okay. Pretty much all of the big things at work is done, not it just finishing up a million of lose ends. Having a list helps some, as long as I break it up so I don't see the whole thing all at once. So having multiple list, where I can just work on one at a time helps. Crossing things off gives that little here we go feeling. Oldest came to cuddle with me some, she is having a sad day as well. We talked about some changes we can make to her room to try and make it more of a safe emotional space for her, but I have to finish school before we can tackle that. Hopefully this summer can help us all find balance some.

I want more baby animals. Not baby humans, just more baby animals. Besides that this week has been interesting. My mind keeps wanting to play tricks on me and make go everyone is just humoring me pretending to be my friend, or there is some big joke I am not aware of. Pretty much impostor syndrome with everything. My other side of the brain keeps telling the Loki side to shut up, but I try and look for little things to support the positive side.

Baby animals turn into full grown children animals way too soon. Are you going to get some?

Damn it. I'm certain I have a peptic ulcer again. I had one a few? maybe 5? years ago and the symptoms returned a while ago. Too much Excedrin Migraine on an empty stomach, which also works for arthritis, and some stress tumbled together. I've read SSRIs can contribute to the meds interaction which results in too much acid.
Time to double up on the omeprazole and add in lots of Tums. Take meds only after eating. And, I know, see a doctor, but I'd rather not. But I will. But I'd rather not.
It would be nice to have pain relief without aspirin or other NSAID, too. Acetimenophen, Tylenol, doesn't do it for me.
Carry on.

finnime Sorry you're feeling unwell. I understand about visiting a doctor; it's right up there with the least favorite things I want to do. My disposition will improve 1000% if the Martin's lady calls and tells me to come to work. Fingers crossed!

finnime, I get not wanting to go to the doctor. But you need to. Have you seen a pain management specialist for your arthritis pain? They may have something that can help. @missrigby, I've got my fingers crossed for you!
I see my therapist today. I skipped last week due to the holiday and I'm feeling pretty good. Maybe it's time to start every other week? I'll talk to her about that today. I'm not as itchy in my skin as I had been. Some of that may be due to the days being longer. I haven't been able to spend a lot of time outside with our weather, but we do get a lot more light in the house this time of year.

I hope you are able to get some relief from whatever ails/pains you, currently, Although science and medicine have come a long way since the 60s, in many ways it would be nice if we could call a doctor, describe your symptoms and have a doctor call in a prescription for you, like they used to. Trusting you to know when it's serious enough to go in. I hate having to go to the doctor every 3 months, or more. It's a PIA! And I hate going.

Thanks, toomuchreality . I really like it. The other employees are fun except for one sort of creepy guy who dogs my tracks because he wants to "get to know" me. It's hard work, and my back hurts after a couple of hours but after a short break, I'm fine again until quitting time. I'm going to be positively crazy about it next Friday when I get the first paycheck

This week has been a struggle. I wasn't quite prepared to hear from the transplant center chief nephrologist that DH would not be eligible without a living donor due to his age, 72. I'll be the donor needed if I pass the physical tests which should not be a problem. My disabilities are depression and arthritis, neither of which is disqualifying.
I am going to see DS today for the first time in a year and 3 months. That gives me a reprieve from this deepening dread.

Both my mental health and physical health have improved since I got the cats last week. I think I was dwelling too much on the physical health because there was nothing else to think about. The cats have kept me busy with all of their needs for attention, food & water, litter box, etc.
