I was out of yogurt and didn't make it down to the cafe. I ate all of my lunch and I'm still starving. And I have to stay late because I got in way late this morning.

Today was January birthday lunch day on my team. We ordered sushi. Yum! I'm the birthday buddy so i brought in dessert - a fruit tart, brownie bites, and i made lavender shortbread cookies. I was indecisive yesterday. Ugh. Plan is to do my Crunch Super Slimdown video as soon as i get home at 4:30; i have a Dem committee meeting at 6:30. Weight-wise, holding steady at 154, but i haven't really done anything to help my cause. Amazing how binge-watching Netflix doesn't help with weight loss!

I housed my food and now my stomach is angry. I think eating a bunch of greasy takeout quickly may have been a bad idea.

The weather is supposed to be ugly tomorrow and I'm thinking my gym class will be canceled. Better make it good tonight. Going to spin class in a few. Doing treadmill right now. I'll finish with Zumba.

It's Jan 10th and I've done 8 workouts this month so far + 3 trips to the park with the dogs.
Next week I'm staying at a place with an on-site gym so I'm bringing all my workout clothes to take advantage of it. I cut back training sessions with my trainer so instead of 2-3 times a week I'm going to do 2x a month and see if I can stay on track on my own.

I just can not get motivated to exercise. I found this crossfit workout that looks like I can do all of it so I want to try it. I was going to start tonight but I spent 4 hours at my parents house and now I am just too exhausted. I don't know if I will ever get motivated again. I am not going to lose my weight if I don't.

Is there any kind of workout you could do while at your parents house?

No, most of the time I am there I am either running them on errands, helping them with their chores..all hands on stuff for them. I just need to push myself to do it when I get done whether I am tired or not.

The four hours today was spent at a doctor's appointment, dyeing my mom's hair and giving her a shower. Then I did their dishes.

Would they qualify for a home health aid through their insurance? It wouldn't replace your help completely, but could maybe cut down on the time you have to spend there.

We have thought about a home health aide but right now they feel a little hesitant about having a stranger come in. But I have to congratulate myself. I just finished the 35 minute crossfit workout and am still alive. I can do it apparently when I am tired I just have to get up and do it.

And instead of having the brownie I was going to have tonight I had my stupid greek yogurt.

I totally understand about the stranger in the house, but it sounds like you could really use the help--for your own sake. It's only going to get worse from here.

yesterday was bad but it could have been a lot worse. Lunch kept me pretty full til around 8pm, and then I wasn't in the mood for anything but a bowl of Life cereal (didn't measure anything). Today I'm starting fresh, but my stomach isn't really feeling it today. I did a 28 min yoga practice and ate a decent breakfast though.

So far I've kept up the vitamins and done my 1 mile walk 4 days in a row. Bought some greek yogurt yesterday to see if having a little late in my day before I head home will keep me from eating my weight in junk right after I get home.

I'll find out how good it is today, I have to take a kid to 5PM appointment that's an hour long. I'll either think my shoes look yummy or I'll be ok.

I ate chicken wings, fries, and cherry cobbler for lunch. I don't seem to have this dieting thing down. I fail at life.

So I have also fallen off if the sit up wagon. I did some the other day and now my abs hurt all of a sudden today. Guess who's got to start doing more sit ups now. Ugh. I was doing so well too!

I, on the other hand, am finally getting my butt back in low gear but am still struggling with making my "snack" category be less calories than most of my meals.

It sucks going up a size even though I am always at the gym. However, it's my own damn fault. I hate that I lack self control.

My self control & motivation ran away together a long long time ago. I'm not sure I'd recognize either if they came back.

I'm doing abs again tonight. I have to get back on track. Hopefully the roads aren't too bad and Zumba is still on. If not, I'll just do what I can at home.

It was pretty good. Might be worth mentioning that I am eating the plain, full fat (4%) yogurt. It has way less sugar than the lower fat kinds and it is VERY filling.

I have done the plain full fat before. This time I decided to try a couple of different brands with flavors in individual servings. The first was ok, but not a repeat buy. If I stay full/not hungry I will call it a win!

Lactose is not my friend, so I don't eat yogurt. ☹
