Oh ok You are posting some anonymous article as if it means something. Well mostly another chance to slam religion which is allowed if the presumed religion is Christianity. So carry on . It's a letter to the editor from her local paper. It's not about slamming religion. It's about slamming ornery old biddy's. Quit running around like a chicken with your head cut off screaming "fowl!"

oh ffs. have you never seen letters to the editor before? OMG, whoever hasn't seen those surely doesn't live near a bunch of retired people. In SW FL there is no shortage of letters to the editor and sounding off type behavior. Guessing the volume of letters the newspaper alone receives is enough to fill a novel each and every day. These people have a lot of opinions and a lot of time to express them.

You didn't read the thread. YOu just want to get your panties in a wad that someone said something mean in church. Nobody said anything bad about the church. I really do wonder about your reading comprehension ability.

so now since we cant talk about Hilary, (EMAILS, BENGHAZI!) because that idea got soundly smacked down, we need to try to shift the focus to how Christians are persecuted.

My dad's main entertainment in the winter is making fun of the letters to the editor in whatever the paper in on the Island where they stay. I think he's going to start going to meetings soon just to mock the people.

That is what is key to me. It is the backlash that everyone wants to start that pisses me off. I breastfed but would never have considered doing it publicly. It was no big deal to plan feedings around outings. To each their own. If someone is discreet about breastfeeding I can see it. But for the women that just pop their boobs out? I disagree with that. Serious question...what was your schedule like and how long did your nurse your kids? I'm trying to figure out how to not nurse in public for 6-12 months and still get anything done. I know it was easier for me because I didn't have older kids so there was no taking the babies to practices, etc. But there were plenty of times I had to go out to the car to feed the baby. I am a very private person and would never have been comfortable exposing my boobs in public...haven't done that since drunken college days
But I honestly can't imagine a situation where I couldn't have gone somewhere private. But privacy was important to me so I made sure I had it. It isn't that we all can't be private with breastfeeding, just some dont' choose to because they don't think they should. Each to their own. Unless the host says to cover the boobies up.

Most churches are struggling a lot more with the plague of declining membership as fewer and fewer young people join and the older members die off. So true - this morning I believe my 12 yo son was the youngest one in church, followed by his 17 yo fellow altar server. I saw no other kids among the congregation, just the 2 on the altar. The lady sounding off should be thankful that her church still has young families with children attending. The only times I hear babies in church lately are when grandparents bring grandchildren to mass, or when the C&E Catholics who moved away come back for mass with extended family on holidays.

When churches went into the business of extorting money for agendas their congregations weren't fans of, they lost members. My old church built a fancy building and laid off 5 longtime staff in their 50's who were unable to find other employment. They also stopped doing the drive thru nativity which had been a tradition for decades. I tried to start a hand up charity instead of hand out one-they're not interested. I'm over it.

Lost part of my fence, it was old and needed replacing anyway. Everything else is fine, thanks for asking.
