Like I needed a reminder to be kinder to my son... Just don't want him to chop my head off. His girlfriend makes comments like that about people she doesn't like. DS tells her that given the political climate she should find another way of expressing about people she doesn't like.

DD and I are light skinned like our Scottish and Irish ancestors. DS looks like the other side as does his girlfriend who is half Jordanian. Pictures of us all together look funny. Sounds like he's from the "dark" side! heh. I bet they have beautiful babies! My family is like that... either really light skin and blond hair, or olive skin and dark hair. Nothing in the middle.

www.wptv.com/news/state/georgia-woman-dies-after-fall-from-jeep-onto-florida-roadThis isn't funny, but it is still so Flori-duh. There's booze, a car with no doors and no one wearing seatbelts. Does anyone else see a problem here: YULEE, Fla. (AP) -- A Georgia woman died after falling from a Jeep Wrangler in Florida.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, 24-year-old Brittanie Gail Evans of Douglas, Georgia, was sitting in the front passenger seat of the Jeep driving late Saturday near Yulee in Nassau County. Yulee is about 20 miles north of Jacksonville, Florida.
The driver and two other passengers also were from Georgia.
The Jeep did not have any doors on it. The report said that "for an unknown reason," Evans was leaning out of the vehicle when she fell onto the road.
Evans was pronounced dead at a hospital.
According to the report, neither Evans nor the driver wore seatbelts, and alcohol may have been a factor in Evans' death.

Remember... Back when seat belts weren't standard in a car? They were considered an "option" you could add. And pretty much no one used them.
The times they are a changing!
I think I've worn my seatbelt every time I've gotten in a car, since my daughter was born. That makes it 30 yrs for me!

just last week I saw a Jeep with no passenger door here in NJ. I was thinking yea, it is legal to drive a vehicle without doors.

Hopefully before he had children. I'm hoping he had a wife or girlfriend and had to 'splain that one to them. www.wptv.com/news/state/fireworks-mishap-in-fort-lauderdale-sends-man-to-hospital...A neighbor said the man had partially blown his hand off, but officials didn't give any specifics on his injuries...
Turns out this butthead is now missing more than a few fingers. Some people just don't understand the meaning of "DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME ."

I'm reading that it is legal to drive a Jeep with out doors as long as it has at least on rear facing side mirror attached to the vehicle. I have seen doorless jeeps driving around here without doors. Not something I would do for safety reasons (getting t-boned).

yea those Wranglers are transformer Legos! LOL all that stuff collapses, or can be taken off, the windshield, doors, the roof, ECT I was thinking they should have standard roll cage installed like seat belts. but even a roll cage would not have helped with this story.

www.wptv.com/news/state/man-arrested-for-calling-clearwater-police-98-times A Florida man who authorities say called 911 nearly 100 times in one day has been arrested.
Clearwater police said in a Facebook post that Michael Mott called the department's communication center 98 times Monday. They say Mott was trying to get money that was seized during a drug arrest in January.
OK...you get arrested on drug charges and the police confiscate your "hard-earned" money. You actually have the balls to call them to get your bucks back? Dude, are you still high since January or what?

Probably STD in the brains. Sexually Transmitted Disease? For my mom to get admitted to an Alzheimer's/mental health care facility, she had to be tested in a hospital. The doctors reported back to us mom had late stage syphilis. That the STD had turned her brain into mush. We kids said "WHAT?". The doctors tested again and said "OOPS! We were wrong. No STDs. She has Alzheimer's disease." Idiots.

Funny story, when I had to go to the ER a few weeks ago, I needed x-rays, and the Tech ask me if there was a chance I could be pregnant. I started laughing and said no, and the kids gave me a weird look, like what the heck. I've been divorced for 13 years and don't have time for a relationship.

Actually, we, or at least I, thought my dad may have had an affair, picked up an STD, and passed it along to my mother years and years ago. That my dad would have had an affair would be very hard to believe in the first place, but one never knows. In the end, it was a false-positive first test. Still, you should not tell a patient's family she has syphilis without retesting.

Florida drug dealer calls 911 to report missing cocaineHe could not have been louder about his missing powder. Responding to a call about a burglary Sunday, police in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., discovered a very forthright man claiming to be a drug dealer in need of some assistance. David Blackmon allegedly told deputies with the Okaloosa County Sheriff's office that a thief had broken into his car and swiped $50 in cash in addition to a quarter ounce of his prized cocaine, the Miami Herald reports. Authorities confirmed that the items seemed to be missing from where the 35-year-old said he had put them, but on the bright side, the deputies were able to help him locate a second bag of coke that he had left on the center console, at which point they began reading Blackmon his rights. Blackmon was arrested and charged with resisting an officer without violence for allegedly refusing to follow commands, possessing drug paraphernalia and possessing cocaine, which is a felony charge. He was released Monday on a $4,000 bond. link
