I'm home from vacation and I'm TIRED. I'm also happy to be at work - while I love my DH, 6 straight days of constant together was a bit much. I'm having the biggest salad for lunch today. After 6 days of what felt like hardly any vegetables, I cannot wait! Knee Deep in Water Chloe, I hope you are feeling better! Also, I'm taking all the zinc/vitamin C/cold remedies I can think of, b/c I'm afraid all this travel helped me catch a cold. Fingers crossed a good night's sleep tonight will help!

so I'm following along with a DietBet that some music cruise friends are doing. I didn't join in, but I'm playing along with them. I admitted to a start weight of 204lbs and set a goal of losing 10lbs before we sail (end of January). I'm walking the pups more as the weather cools off, as opposed to the dog park, in an effort to help keep ME warm lol. I've also taken serious strides to clean up my caloric intake. other than that, I haven't really done much. happy to report this am was 200.4 (either .4 or .6) so I'm getting there keep up the great work!

I lost about 20 pounds since y'all last heard from me. I'm in the low 160s now. Turned out after the dust settled from the divorce that I'm a lot happier and a lot less stressed which has a positive impact on my eating and exercise. I'm still thinking I'd like to get to 155 or 145, but as I'm 5'8 and tend to be more muscular this is vanity weight that might never happen, and I'm okay with that. I started running again. Did my first 5k for Halloween and got another coming in early December for Christmas. I haven't been good about going to the YMCA since my last meeting with my coach, but I'm still doing better than I was activity wise. Everyone started commenting on my success a few months ago when I started fitting into my old fall clothes. Luckily I have stuff that fits, but some of it is getting big. I actually have to wash my pants after each wear to keep them from being too baggy, but I'm still sorta between sizes where if I went ahead and sized down it would feel uncomfortable until my pants stretched and then I wouldn't want to wash them and have them shrink again. The more I run the more muscle my legs get though so I might have to keep the bigger size for my thighs

I haven't gotten to the fitness club as much as I have wanted to with taking care of my parents. I decided I probably am not going to lose the 10 pounds I wanted to before Christmas but I am going to give my Leslie Sansone Walk it Off in 30 Days a good shot. I hope to do it every day until Christmas. I just need to get a handle on my sweets.

Not a good week. My DF went into the hospital on Tuesday and has been in there ever since. He will be in there for at least the next 2 weeks.
Did not hit goal.
Not setting a goal this week.

ners, I'm sorry to hear your DF is in the hospital! I hope everything is ok! My office is a sweatbox today. If they don't fix it soon, I'm going to sweat off a few pounds before the day is over . UGH.

I’m on cold #2 @@ This one is primarily a sore throat, so I can alleviate that with Tylenol for the most part.

Progress will just be slow as there are multiple doctors trying to balance differing needs. It still be a couple of weeks before he will be out.

Am in a couple of fitness challenges right now that go through to Xmas. Steps weren't fantastic over the holiday... I have been home for 5 days straight and really busy but not getting a ton of steps.
Core workout in tonight. Food prepped for tomorrow.

I stopped using MFP a couple weeks ago when life got hectic and I missed a day. I need to start back up so I know how much I am eating. I seem to keep a bit of control on my calories then.

my eating has gotten so bad that I'm going back on MFP. I played 25 mins of Just Dance on Saturday and stuff was cracking and popping that had never popped/cracked before. I feel gross, tired, and bloated a LOT lately, and I do not want to wake up one day realizing I'm 30 lbs heavier. Seeing my family over the break was the eye opener I needed. I started MFP today. My calorie limit is 1500/day and I'm fine so far - not hungry or feeling deprived. I have DEFINITELY been eating out of boredom/pleasure, and the sluggish feeling has depleted my sex drive. Eating better/less will kick the drive back in. If I had someone I could ... um... take my energy out on, that wouldn't be a problem. Le sigh....

I want to lose at least 25 pounds. I would like to lose it before my daughter's baby is born in April but if I don't get serious I will probably weigh more than I do now.

I went a little over my cal limit yesterday but I'm off to a good start today. Got my workout in and I've been eating only the things I've logged. No coffee since I have to add cream & sweetener to make it palatable. I could go for some chocolate but I'm trying to save it til Thursday (bday) - I'm going to get some carrot cake over lunch. Feeling okay-ish. I have pork-turkey meatballs in the slow cooker now and I'll have them with spiraled zucchini. I'm trying.

I actually made it to the fitness center to walk on the treadmill. I haven't been there for a couple weeks. I hope to go tomorrow and stay a bit longer. I have been watching my eating and logging my food again today.

I've had lots of yard and housework, so skimping on the workouts lately. Got the kettlebell one in today, and I'm sore now. It's all good, though. The last couple of months have been bad. I feel better now that I got a good workout in.
