Weekly check in
Doing my check in early. Need to get out the door early Monday thru Wednesday.
I am over 70000 but a little over 2000 short of 75000. Will be going to bed shortly so do not think I will hit 75000.
Failed at curbing stress eating.
I am sure I will be working late Monday and Tuesday. So this week step goal will be 70000. I will be happy with 65000.
Going to work on drinking more water or tea.
Have a great week everyone.

Almost hit 70,000 steps last week. Still battling a sinus infection. I have over half of the antibiotics left.
My physical is Friday. I had the blood work done last week and already saw the results. All good except slightly high cholesterol.
Trying to get more movement in and eat better. The wedding imploded all of that. I leave next Saturday for Orlando. I hope all the walking at the parks will cancel out some of the food.

It's been so long since I checked in here that I don't get notified for new posts anymore. To be fair, there isn't much news to share. I suck, I don't weigh more than I did when I first checked in here but I don't weigh less than I did either. Work has this "voluntary until it's not" thing with the insurance where you can get a health coach to work with you on stuff. I suppose I'll try it because next year if I want to not have my insurance rates jacked up it will be a have to do anyway.

My goal this week is just to not eat a bunch of crap. and drink less, and maybe move some more. it's stupid hot here this week, like middle of the summer hot, so I doubt the moving more is going to happen. we'll see.

It's New England. You're surprised by this? I'm stupid. I'm upstairs with a piddly room fan and just finished a Leslie Sansone 4-mile power walk. I think I'm going to go die now.

no, no surprise here. in fact, I'm actually happy about the prospect of possibly getting another beach morning in this week.

You're weird. I have to finish turning over my bed, find a hatchet and some stump rot and work on the damn stump. Then I'm going to start dismantling the shed so I can move it. I have most of the stuff in my basement so taking it apart, hopefully without dropping it on my head, should net me a few dozen steps. I don't do the beach. Bathroom's too far away.

ha, yes. that, and one of the beaches I alternate between actually has public restrooms. I think they are still open during the day until 10/1. but I typically only go for about an hour anyway, especially during the week. the beach is actually closer to my house than the highway.

I worked out yesterday morning, but despite cooking a roast in the slow cooker, last night's dinner was cheese fries and a cup of Swiss Miss chocolate pudding. What?! AF is here, don't judge me!!!
I did take the pot roast with noodles and inhaled it at lunch. Now I want Oreos for some reason...

I bought some new jeans last night, just took them with me didn't try them on since it's the same brand I already own. One fits (if you stretch the jeans and definition, but they zip damn it) the others wouldn't zip. Same size that I own. They will stretch out, right??!

I ordered 3 pairs of jeans in the same size and same cut/style. Just different colors. One fits, one is too big and one two tight. You literally just Can not make any assumptions that the exact item in the exact size will be even remotely similar.

And thanks to all the spandex crap in our jeans I'm sure these probably will/would stretch out fine and that the next size up will stretch out to be horrendously huge on me if I get that. I just hate pants shopping period. Makes me stabby. I think one is going back and the other might stay. Also, I need better lunches or something. I'm starving/have the munchies and I ate 4ish hours ago. By the time I get home it'll be more starving less munchies and I'll be trying to eat my way through the house if I don't watch it.

I had a lunch time fail... I ordered a grill chicken chopped salad, no cheese and when I got back to the office it was 98% lettuce. The chicken/bacon/veg could be consumed in 3 bites. I did have some veg on hand to add to it. But I had no protein too add. ( maybe 5g on the salad total) So naturally, I was starving. And PMSing Enter Cheetos and a rice crispy treat.
Now I have a stomach ache and next to no calories left.

I haven't eaten yet today. When I do, it will be 2 blueberry waffles and 4 sausage links. Then I have an egg salad to take to work. Debating on throwing together a caesar salad too. Got the fixings so might as well actually EAT the lettuce I keep buying. It's kind of gross when it turns to liquid/slime.

I have a weird-ism tonight that I would love some insight on. note : i fully recognize this is weird. I'm also posting with my busted phones autocorrect, so don't tak2 any of this with any seriousness until tomorrow when I get back to work and have a laptop and mouse to mess with things. please...
I, for someone that is not and has never been slender, have very slender hands and feet. like "slender man" hands and feet, and no, I DID NOT kill anyone. but still. in my time in trying to figure out.my body type.for weight loss purposes, all those quizzes some back with a slender build. so what am I missing in those quizzes that they might actually.come up with an answer for ms?

yup, my grandmother on my dad's side. but when I take those body type quizzes, they always kick back something that assumes my slender hands and feet mean all of me is thin. no idea how to outsmart the quiz.

I have always had slender hands but not feet. I have long fingers too for someone who is as short as I am. I don't get it either. Especially when I was fat in addition to short running around with ET hands.

Dithering about where I'm at physically. I've lost 40+ pounds. I've bought some new clothes, gingerly, afraid that they'd be too small very soon. Now I don't think that will be true. I think I'd like to lose another 5 pounds, which would bring me to 127. Then the usual fluctuations would not go much over 130. Then I think I'm obsessing too much with numbers; that I'm okay now. I'm 5'2". I dunno.
I have started some arm/ab exercising - the plank and light weights. Some arthritis makes this a slow process.
