next up, I have my record highs, which were set early LAST year. I need another 0.7% to hit those. I am reasonably confident I can get that before EOY.

up another 1/2% this morning, with the market sharply lower. I am now in record territory, +13% for the year.

surprising. a month ago, I was only +7%. I generally can do that well blindfolded. so can just about anyone. it is not a hard ROI, esp in an "up year".

uraniums and precious metals were both higher today, as was copper.
metals equities outperformed the commodities today, which has been rare, and is bullish.

Gold is +1.55% overseas this AM.
Silver is +2%.
this is a huge move.
look for CEF to open +1.75%
this would put it at a 4 month high, and only 1.5% below it's 6 year high of $15.55

gold equities are extremely undervalued.
recommend UNWPX at $3.38, if you don't feel like hunting.

markets closed, but hit a new record high on Friday.

this is in part due to two NON-METALS holdings of mine: Virgin Galactic and ICAGY. they are both up over 60% in the last couple of months. it is nuts.

metals are also doing well, but not as well as those two stocks.

I am not sure where I am YTD. can't remember right now. I think it is +2%

gold is looking really good.

I have been slowly shuffling funds to gold equities over the last few months. the overall tread looks really solid, and much better than the equities indexes, which have fallen 3% from their highs and are looking weak, from a technical standpoint.

I need to unload some GOOG and AAPL. they have been looking super choppy of late. unloaded some SPCE today and last week. it is up 90% from my purchase price.

PS- just to report the not-so-good with the good: this year is a dud for me.  no gains so far.

senior miners lead the way today, resulting in a 0.3% overall gain, and new record high.

currently +6% in Feb. good month so far. best in a while.

i lost everything i gained yesterday due to TWO issues: TECk and SPCE.

otherwise i would have been up 0.5% on the strength of metals.

CEF was +1.5%, 7 year high

UNWPX was +3.5%, 18 month high.  i still recommend the latter.  it is a steal at $3.60.  i would be shocked it if was selling for less than $5 by year's end.

however, I like the action. the DJIA is now up a paltry 2% in the last (25) months.

URPTF (the uranium fund) was +13% today to a 13 month high.
it now stands just 10% below a FOUR YEAR high.
that is after it hit a record low at that bear market bottom.

I am really puzzled about this one, but i'll take it.
and I will start gobbling up Uranium juniors again.

I would think this makes CCJ (uranium senior) well valued at $9.25
but there are other stocks I like even better.
PLUUF is looking like a screaming bargain at 15 cents
UEC also looks good at 77 cents
DNN at 31 cents
FCUUF at 17 cents
URCCF at 80 cents is an interesting royalty play
MGAFF at 6 cents

a lot of uraniums not listed here have doubled and tripled and are no longer good plays.
examples: Blue Sky, Paladin

URPTF is already up 50%. it is heading for a clean double, if Uranium keeps rising.

AUMN should be selling for 50-70 cents. it is currently 33.
RMRDF should be selling for 20 cents. it is 15.
TRX should be around $1.40, and it is selling for 80 cents.
