The left leaning posters have been gone from this forum for more than a year. The last one was pretty reasonable and explained herself well. I miss her. There are only moderates and conservatives left on this board. Just a FYI. Does my pro union pro anything Democratic sister and sister in law count? IDKThey are both brainwashed to the ideology. I have saved my wife from this idiocy after the first 30 years of marriage.  Pro union, pro Democratic party does not mean they are left wing. Think of the left wing as being opposite of the right wing or a kind of mirror image if you will.
RW -> Wants to have vaginal ultrasounds required in hopes of fewer abortions LW -> Wants to require certain kind of healthy eating at schools
Maybe not the best examples, but basically both wings, right and left, want to control people for what they consider for their own good. Both want to force people to do things their way - RW is usually about right to life and heterosexual marriage issues. LW often about physical health, especially children. The attempted soda large size ban in NYC was tipping seriously LW. To be fully left IMO it would have needed to restrict people from buying 18oz or whatever it was of soda at one time to be fully LW.

Gay sex workers reported an upsurge in demand during this week’s Republican National Convention in Cleveland, while the ladies of the night appeared to miss out on the booming business.
Some male prostitutes claimed to have earned six times more than normal, with female sex workers noting that business has been slower.
