Returned from euro vacation last night... stepped on the scale and am down a couple of pounds. Not bad considering I ate whatever I wanted the entire time. Thank goodness for all the walking! I am bummed to be going back to being so sedentary again. I could feel such a huge different in my allergies alone.

Weekly check in. Was barely able to hit my 85000 step goal this week. I am going to keep the goal of 85000 for the week. I will be going to a conference so it maybe a little more difficult this week

Weekly checkin- Exercise down calorie consumption up. Not a good week.
Time to reset.
This is going to be a stressful week at work.
Goal manage stress eating. (Take a short walk instead of eating junk food)
Have a great week everyone.

So I've been on activity restrictions and am now cleared to go back to the gym. I have a feeling that zumba is going to kick my butt tonight.

Last week was brutal. I guess my metabolism was up from spending hours on end walking most days during the previous 2 weeks... and PMS. It i was constantly hungry. I gained back the 3 lbs I lost (bloated, I hope) and am trying to get my body back on track.

Well I didn't die at zumba, which is good. I don't have time to go tonight, but will definitely go tomorrow.

Steps are getting better. Attempted to do knee and quad stretches. No wonder my knee hurts those muscles are way out of practice.

Sent from my SM-N920T using proboards Things are going so well. B is home, out of her wheelchair and walking independently. She's back in school 2 mornings a week and the nanny is with her the rest of the time, taking her to therapy and everything. We are adjusting, although are still depleted. It's hard to muster the energy for much, and I'm still on the emotionally fragile side. This morning B said her legs hurt and she didn't want to walk and i panicked convinced she was relapsing and we were going to live August and September all over again. It seems she was sore from resuming swimming lessons yesterday. I'm told this is a normal stress reaction, but yeah. In general things are miles and miles better than they have been in a long time.

Weekly check in it is going to be another long week. Steps were not as high as I would like. On the plus side I am still a little ahead of hitting my yearly goal. Cannot let up.
Goals for week: 50000 steps. When the urge to stress eats happens take a quick walk.

Well, I was up another 2 pounds today. Wtf? 7 pounds in 2 weeks. I assume it is a combo of being bloated from salty foods and gluten/sugar and good old time of the month. My lower back is killing me and my wedding ring is too tight. Mainlining water and green tea today.

Haven't updated in a while--just in maintenance mode (or not even) the last few weeks as I've taken over most household duties as DH recovers from hip surgery. He started driving himself to his PT appointments as of this morning! Otherwise, I would have been driving to an appointment every single day this week. Puts a damper on the day/makes it hard to do weigh-in before breakfast, and interferes with an exercising I may otherwise do. (Plus, DH has been working from home part of the day. It's nice to have him around, but he does get in my way a bit.) I have been raking the leaves a lot, and going back and forth across the house/picking up a 40 lb.-wants-to-still-be-a-baby, so not much formal exercise, but still burning calories, which is good, because my calorie intake has been way up. Way up. I'd probably still be losing if it weren't far all the allowances I've been giving myself. (Halloween candy ) Since it's raining today, and I don't have any appointments, I think I'll get back to my exercise routine this afternoon.

Well I'm down another pants size since I'm now limiting my alcohol consumption. At least one good thing came from it. Going to zumba tonight. I can't wait!

Weekly checkin -- missed step goal. Consumed too many calories.
I am going to keep my step goal at 60000. I will have to work on making better food choices this week.
Have a great week everyone.

My steps this last week were awful. My food consumption has been awful. DH and I keep saying "well, it's stressful to move across the country, therefore it's ok to eat pizza/pumpkin pie/ice cream/whatever". Which we both realize is a bunch of bull but it's how we are rationalizing ourselves right now. UGH. Awful. I'm trying to get us back on track, but damn, I'm just over eating our boring healthy food right now!

I actually went to zumba all four days this week. And! I had recently started being able to fit into another size down. Well that's getting loose and I should probably be down yet another size soon. Yay!

Weekly Check in. Hit step goal. The goal of making healthy food choices lasted about 12 hours this week. Oh well.
This weeks step goal will be 70000. I am going to work on drinking more water.
Have a great week everyone.

Weekly check in Not good. Steps down. Food and alcohol up. Brother paid an unexpected visit and totally messed up my schedule. Having 3 (DB,DSIL and nephew) staying with me was very disruptive.
Going to set step goal at 70000. Might be tough to hit. Have after work plans 3 days. Going to try to keep calorie intake down.
Have a great week everyone.

I ate my weight in food over the holiday. My weight doesn't seem to have increased, but I don't weigh myself. I don't think my weight has really gone down at all but rather turned fat into muscle which is cool. I do have one little bit of fat on my tummy that I can't seem to get rid of no matter how hard I try. I bought a waist trimmer yesterday. Has anyone had any luck with them? My friend swears by hers. I figured it is worth a shot.

Still here, still losing, although it's slowed to a trickle. Know i need to workout but just can't. Therapist says I have PTSD from all the stuff with B, and the effort to work out is just too much. Hell, the effort to put on pants is too much some days. Apparently the PTSD thing is common in parents who've had a kid with a medical crisis like B's. (B is doing totally amazing by the way and they are talking about cutting her down to 1 pays therapy session per week in the new year vs. 5 now) Am barely sleeping. Some days i eat a ton other days not so much. My health is not where i would like it to be but most days i function at a basic level, and that's where i'm at so i'm trying to make peace with that vs. comparing what i know i should be able to do.
Went through my closet today and made a big pile of clothes that are too big and found clothes from previous years that fit again. Feel good about accomplishing that at least.

So I'm thinking about adding boxing to my exercise routine. I think it would be good for my upper body. Zumba has been good for my legs as well as overall weight loss, but my arms are still flabby. Unless anyone can think of anything better. I don't want to work out on the machines. I'd rather take a class.
