GS1 & his BF paid for dinner after his performance. Then he said he is moving back later in May. Has to be out of dorm this summer & school ends 5/25. So that's 2 good things. Will be looking for a local job  |

GS3 (2 yo) walked in carefully cradling an egg, explains "baby chicken in there." He barely notices his missing finger! Doesn't stop him from anything  Which one did he lose? |

The new place is quiet and friendly. I'm going to join a Newcomers group here in Tampa. I'm going to start volunteering at the Straz theater. Plus, Saturday I leave for Costa Rica with the kids. My rental still hasn't closed. The Grand Rapids house will close on the 11th or 12th, I think. I'll be glad when both are closed.

Oh, and I found white and nude flats online in a size 4 and a half!!! Plus some boots for Ireland that I'll need to waterproof but they were cheap. My girlfriend is going to wear hers for the week and leave them there!!! I might do the same.

Size 4 and a 1/2, oh my goodness, that's tiny. I'm on the other end of the spectrum, big, flat feet. Sigh
 I have larger feet with an extremely high arch. I have to be careful with shoes as a lot don't provide enough arch support. And certain styles make me look like I'm wearing flippers.  |

GRG a/k/a goldenrulegirl, he had an accident last year and they tried to reattach his pinky. He wouldn't let anyone touch that hand for a long time so to see him running around gathering eggs is awesome

I got rid of the filing cabinet in the garage, and met with someone who is going to weed, transplant, and neaten up my gardens! Yay! It is SO hard to maintain a yard when you work full time. When I'm limited to nights and weekends, it's either raining or ridiculously hot and humid, or something else needs to be done.
Ombud, it's great to hear that DGS is doing so well. Growing up without that finger, he won't know what it's like to have a pinky on that hand. He'll do just fine; he's already doing fine, sounds like.

I'm heading back to work after a week of sick leave for broken wrist. Work is able to bring me back with accommodations in a different job so I don't have to go on short-term disability!

DD2 got engaged yesterday, so lots of happy phone calls, will see them next week. Had a nice lunch with DH and my parents.

I'm babysitting a dog this weekend. Don't ask me why or how I got roped into it but he is on my bed on the blanket where DH's cat sleeps. The cat will not be happy. I'm not used to the smell of a dog. But he's a nice dog

Yes Lunch was fun. We had s retirement party this eve. Lots of fun. Many people there were sponsors for our wedding or had some part in it. One of the girls who carried in the pillows that held the wedding rings, is in HR at Rockwell Automation.
I tried to put contacts in this AM before meting Moon & Beth. One of them rolled up into my eye socket. I can feel it, but I can't see it to take it out

I managed to get all of the cat hair off of the couch. I don't know how it gets on there as the cats aren't allowed on the couch. I really don't know why there was a cat laying on the couch when I came back from the bathroom after cleaning off the couch. I also don't know why said cat is hiding from me now.

My haircut is shorter than what I would like. It's a stacked bob in back. A little longer in front. With the hot weather coming, I'm sure it will be nice.
