I think ratings are dropping because it's boring. It's like the season with the Governor all over again - learning about these different communities, everybody is apart so week to week the story is jumping all over the place (sort of Game of Thrones-like), we don't see all the characters every week, etc.

I got confused this week because the timeline moved around.   It didn't register for me till half way thru the episode that Tara didn't know Denise was dead.

I'll stick it out because it's supposed to get really good if they are following the graphic novels like they said.   Unfortunately to get to the good stuff it's going to require a massive amount of character build up for those who don't follow the graphic novels.

I am looking forward to next week's episode.   I like Neegan even though I know a lot of fans don't.   I feel like there are only so many Governor types you can have as a villan in a show.   I like Neegan because if we hadn't been following Rick's group all this time and instead had been following Neegan, we'd have a totally different perspective on the show.   Him and Rick are two sides of the same coin.

I think Shane would have ended up as a Neegan eventually if he had lived.

Still watching, though I only watched about five minutes of this week's episode so far. 

DH watched it and he said "Just when I thought this show couldn't get any more boring, it did." 

I haven't been impressed this season.

I'm still watching & overall liked this season.  I love King Ezekeal.  I think he is my new favorite character.  I thought the group who lived in the garbage piles was really strange.  They had a whole Mad Max feel to them.  But I think they are going to make great allies for the group.

I like the season now that it is gearing up but I like heavily character driven shows.  I get tired of it being nothing but "run run run.. kill zombies. .run run run some more"

As far as last night's episode I hope Sasha is smart enough to not allow herself to be captured alive because if she isn't then she's going to ruin EVERYTHING.   You'd think Rosita and Sasha were the only two people to ever lose anyone in the apocalypse.   You don't see Maggie or Daryl going all Turbo do you do?  I think they would have far more of a reason to do so than either Rosita or Sasha do.

If you want to die go get yourself eaten by walkers, don't risk the safety/lives of three different colonies and all your friends for a personal vendetta.

I hope Carol and King Eziekiel get together.    They get each other.

Thought Maggie would be pissed at Darryl, love the character but he did get Glen killed lashing out in a no win situation.

I think it goes back to what Tyrese told Carol.   In this world you can't waste time holding grudges.   These people are all you got and you have to count on each other for survival.  Grudges can get yourself and other people killed.

I don't really like the whole Sasha/Rosita plot line.  Things are moving slowly but the groups are getting there & they need a real strategy.  Two chicks with a gun aren't going to take down Neegan's network even if they do take out Neegan.

So, thoughts on Eugene?  I think he likes feeling important & being top of the herd instead of the weak link he was with Rick's group.  He has already proven he's out for himself with the whole I know the cure ruse.

I think Eugene is out to save his own skin by any means nessecary.   Which intially meant lying thru his teeth to Abraham and the group.

Once that fell thru and it became apparent that Rick is not the biggest mofo on the block, he decided to latch onto Neegan.

Neegan he knows what a nerd like Eugene wants which is why he sent his wives to hang out with him and gave him a nice room rather than throwing him into a cell like he did with Daryl.   He knew if he gave Eugene a chance to be one of the popular guys he'd follow Neegan like a puppy.

I do feel like Rick's group sorely miscalculated when it comes to Eugene.  Even if he is a coward he knows how to make bullets.  That is an EXTREMELY valuable skill in the apocalypse.

Neegan is an azz but he is good at reading people.  Something Rick thinks he is good at but isn't always.  They could have used Eugene's brain more.  He already solved the rotting corpse thing for Neegan.  And yes to the making bullets.  Now he is Neegan's bullet maker.

I found Sunday night's episode to be a tad boring.    I am not liking Sasha at the moment, IMO the right thing to do would have been to kill herself if she didn't want to be used against her friends.  WTF does she think she's going to do?    Daryl only managed to escape because Dwayne's wife helped.   If Daryl couldn't break out without help she sure as heck isn't going to.

I do think they give Jeffery Dean Morgan the best lines.   I can't wait to use "Beach ball sized lady balls" in conversation.

DH was pissed at the finale.   They kept advertising it as heartbreaking but to him it wasn't.   I guess if you were really attached to a certain character and her romance with another character I suppose it was sad.   Since I wasn't invested all that much in that plot line it was "meh".

I did have a moment of panic when we heard the scream come from the tower. Cause let's face it Rick doesn't have much luck keeping women alive.

The best part was when Shiva flew in out of nowhere and ate a Savior. They give Jeffery Dean Morgan the best lines "That's a F-ing tiger!"

The problem is Neegan is to Rick what the Joker is to Batman.   Neegan can't die.

Plus I don't want Jeffery Dean Morgan to go, I think he's awesome.  The only way it would be deemed acceptable for him to leave TWD is if he was going to return as John Winchester over on Supernatural.

Was I the only one who snickered at the smiley face pancakes?  I thought whoever came up with that suggestion was genius.

I think Eugene is going to have to walk a very narrow line from now on.  Neegan knows he had something to do with Sasha's death and bullet making skills or no he's not going to live much longer if he keeps getting in the way.   Neegan bumped off the compound's doctor because he thought the doctor helped his wife escape.   Eugene is not immune.

I am in the minority because I loved the finale.  I hate garbage bitch & think she needs to die immediately.  She should be target #1 before Neegan.  I love King Zeke & his tiger.  I think he & Carol make a much better couple than she ever would have with Darryl.  I love Maggie & Hill Top.  I can't wait for next season.

I was discussing at work. how I don't understand why Negan has not been killed?

I find it so frustrating in movies and action films shows. two guys are out to kill one another. when the opportunity comes up. they don't!

for example: first of all. way back when. Karl set out to kill Negan. truck back door pops up and Karl kills a Negan soldier! then Negan steps out and Karl does nothing! Episode 100! Negan steps out the door! ALONE, OUT IN THE OPEN, FIRST AND ONLY ONE! OUT THE FN DOOR!! RICK AND THE ENTIRE TEAM HAS RAPID FIRE GUNS! NO ONE! NOT ONE PERSON TAKES A SHOT!

LAUGHABLE! UNBELIEVEABLE! I mean! I thought the entire purpose to go there. was to kill Negan?

I've gotten to where I surf around on my phone while we're watching and then really irritate DH with the "who is that? what's going on? where are they?" questions.
