I thought it was ok. It seemed a little more passionate than previous kisses? (oh relativity...) but I think it has to be a transition with Sheldon, too much would have been almost too unbelievable.. definitely has been a slow building flame.

Yes, that is what I assumed as well.  The previews for this week make it look as if they are going to have sex.  I can't see that happening.

LMAO.... This reminded me I hadn't told daughter about what I read. I said to her, tonight is the night... Fall Finale of BBT... she was like, "Do you think it will end with Sheldon asking Amy to marry her?"... No, I said, I think it will end with (me smacking my hands together in a crude symbol for coitus)... really, she said... Yes I said, I've been reading... and it will be Star Wars and Amy's Birthday... and that's as far as I got before daughter said to an effect that ... I agree with you. I also liked the show once, but to me it has become repetitive and the laughs (apart from the sound track) are really just not there.

I'm not a nerd/geek, or maybe I am...but you can only stretch that theme so far. After a while it all becomes a bit of a cliché.
