I don't get episodes till the next day. Usually watch them sometime that week... For BBt and MF I'll usually epwat h the next morning while riding my exercise bike...

I don't know if they kept the episode a secret or not. I was surprised how they handled Howard's mom. The end was tasteful and serious.

They definitely kept it a secret because we were all still wondering how they would handle it. We made guesses and I was correct. I think they had to reshoot quite a few episodes and that is why they have had so many repeats the last 2 months.

I think I could pick out what was reshot and what probably was from the original episode. It'll be interesting to see whether other episodes are complete rewrites or just part

I have TBBT set to record on my DVR & it will show it is scheduled but it never records.  I think somehow they have prevented it from being recorded.  It is the only show that it happens with.  So I have missed most of this season.  I need to go watch it onDemand.

I watched it last night and did tear up. It was very well done. Oh and I had read on FB that Johnny Galecki had put a wallet size picture of Carol Ann Susi up on the side of the fridge after she passed away I did see it in the show last night. It is really small and hard to see but it is there.

The episode when Nimoy voiced the Spock doll in Sheldon's dream was a classic.  I had always hoped that Nimoy would someday appear in person on BBT, but it never happened.  Too bad.

Yes that is correct. When he got the one from Stan Lee he said he was going to hang it next to his one from Leonard Nimoy.

My all time favorite scene on BBT is still the one from the Christmas episode in season 2 when Penny gives Sheldon the napkin that was used by Leonard Nimoy.
"I possess the DNA of Leonard Nimoy!"
"Do you realize what this means? All I need is a healthy ovum and I can clone my own Leonard Nimoy!"

Speaking of Penny, I thought some of last nights episode was kind of touching. When she took the relationship test with Sheldon, you could see how the two characters have bonded over the years, even if they don't really admit it.

Yes absolutely. I have always enjoyed Sheldon and Penny's interactions even more than Penny and Leonards, but not romantically.

I loved the episode last night because my favorite scenes are ones with Penny and Sheldon and that was the whole show!

I did enjoy the last show with them paying a last tribute to Debbie Wolowitz with all her left over food. Oh and it looks like Penny's hair is finally starting to grow out.
The shows have gotten better since the 1st of the year, the ones at the beginning of the year were just not that good, maybe with the exception of the prom episode.
I just rewatched season 7 last weekend and it was by far better than this one.

So I watched last weeks episode last night. What do you all think if Howard's step brother? I like him, it was a good storyline. Penny now makes twice as much money as Leonard?? Really? You would never have known if she hadn't said it since it is not obvious in any way. I did enjoy the banter in that storyline too. I always enjoy Wil Wheaton's guest appearances.
Sheldon and Amy's 1st sleepover was kind of a snooze.

I still don't get why William Shatner hasn't guest starred yet. I mean he does the commercials with Kaley so why not?

I like that they brought in the half brother.  I kind of like how Penny sprung it on Leonard that she  makes a lot of dough, and if she is doing pharmaceutical sales then that isn't unusual at all.  They typically hire young attractive people to do those jobs and they can make a butt load of money.  I like the fact that she never really mentioned before how much she was making and just started stashing cash - LOL!

I agree it is kind of strange that William Shatner has yet to appear.  Shelton would probably go into cardiac arrest or maybe just start telling him about everything he did wrong aboard the enterprise.

I think it's only a matter of time before Shatner appears on BBT.  While Sheldon would be excited, I think he was more of a "Spock Guy", and I would bet he would have no problem in telling Shatner that.  It would be a wild episode for sure.
