Absolutely the biggest outcry has been from men. LOL They have made some really nasty comments about it, that I won't post here except I think the nicest one was that she looks like a middle aged soccer mom. I think that is also in reference to the odd baggy clothes she has been wearing too.
I prefer long hair on women but that is just a personal preference.
There are women that can pull off a pixie cut I personally just don't think she has the face for it.

I like the show, I find the writing witty and the character development is remarkable.

That being said, I think the show may have run its course.

Maybe along the lines as to why Anne Hathaway cut her hair for Les Mis?  It looks like she's growing it out now, and it's at that miserable stage.

I don't understand what is going on with this show. They only showed 1 new episode in December, 1 new episode in January and last weeks was new and tonight's too but then another repeat next week? Are they paying the cast so much money now they can't afford a full season of shows?

I don't think they produce more than 22-26 new episodes a year, which is common for most weekly shows these days.  By mixing in repeats earlier in the season, they can stretch out the supply of new shows.

Besides that, they're paying the cast so much that they can't afford a full season of shows.

I think 22-24 for weekly shows that are on during the normal fall/winter/spring schedule is normal.
But BBT has shown way more repeats in the last 2 months than any of the other weekly shows. Maybe they are having to reshoot some episodes to deal with Howard's Moms death and that is why all the repeats?

BTW I watched last week's episode last night and thought the whole Cinnamon or Emily game was a hoot!

The more I think about it the more I am convinced that they have had to reshoot a lot of the shows because the actress that played Howard's Mom passed and that is why all the repeats. I know they had already shot many of the new episodes when she passed and she has not been talked about or appeared in any episode's since her passing.

That pageant clip was funny, but I got a real kick out of the "Little House" story with "Cooper" from the future.  As far as Howard's Mom goes, they will have to address it at some point, unless they just get another actress to do the voice off-camera.

Yea that was funny too. Probably not quite an accurate quote but "You have some interesting under garments." "They're Underoos".

I think they will probably address her death by the end of the season. I am leaning towards them having her die on the show. I really just don't see them replacing her. I think the fans would have an issue with it. I haven't read anything one way or the other though.

I watch them a week behind on demand. There are only like 4 or 5 shows I actually watch first run. I want to be able to watch them when I want to not on their schedule AND if you wait a week and watch them on demand they have removed half the commercials.

I was discussing this on another board, and most agree that they would have Mrs. W "die".  That would lead to some interesting moments for Howard and Stuart; remember that he became something of a "boy toy" a while back.  Another option would be Bernadette (too lazy to dig up her real name) doing the Mrs. W character off camera.  She has mimiced her in the past, and could possible pull it off.  However, I think the death senario would be the most logical remedy.

Have you also noticed that Stuart hasn't been in any episodes either for a while? That also makes me think they are reshooting.
Yes I agree the death scenario is the most logical. Sounded a bit like both.

I have never had satellite so I don't know if they offer an on demand feature. I find it very convenient without having to spend money on a DVR since it already comes free with my service.

I haven't either and I've only explored so much. I keep forgetting that I actually have movie channels (which is ok, they play the same 6 movies all month) and there could be On Demand for all I know. We watch the same 3 channels all the time. lol

I haven't seen it yet but I do know that my guess about what was going on (reshoots) and how they were going to handle Mrs. Wolowitz was correct. I don't mind spoilers BTW.

That's the thing about so many people having DVRs.  More often than not, we would be spoiling something by talking about it.  I think it would probably be safe a couple of days after a show airs.
