OMG Sheldon was going to propose to Amy? Or just give her a ring? Or what? I can't wait for next season to find out.
I have to say the finale was way out of character for him, he seemed to have just made a leap overnight. Talking about necking and playing kissy face.
Oh and LMAO!!!  He and I are alike in so many ways and now one more, committing to a show and sticking with it until the end even if the quality declines. Chocolate Lover

Sheldon is becoming human? At least Spock was half human. Amy had gotten to him even though he wouldn't admit it. Her finally saying she's had enough triggered something in him. About time he went through puberty. |

Chocolate Lover Sheldon was having all this stress about whether he wanted to commit himself to watching The Flash. As one who watches very few first-run TV shows, I had the same issues last September. I was a big comic book collector as a kid, and I was afraid they would alter the Flash too much for the TV show. Well, alter they did, and I loved it. I got hooked and haven't missed an episode yet. Sheldon should take the dive too. |

So I watched and was very underwhelmed by the premiere. And I am not alone. FB is blowing up with disappointing posts about it.
On a brighter note I did read that they will be doing a special episode to mark the passing of Leonard Nimoy this season. I look forward to that.

There is no doubt to me that The Big Bang Theory is not as good as it once was. Sometimes I watch old episodes on TBS and they are SO much better. I am sure I will be a fan til the end but it has lost that "something" that it once had to me.

Maybe it's not as funny now that we know the characters well enough to guess their actions and words?  They can still put in little things. Like I wondered how Sheldon was going to knock on Penny's door while holding the tray. That was funny. But their script was predictable. Sheldon showing emotion in his talk with his mother interesting. |

I think it's hard when you get to 8 seasons to keep shows going and fresh until you have a lot of material to mine for new storylines/character development.
I've been watching Supernatural for 9 seasons now, I know the characters so well that I can predict what is going to happen in 99% of the episodes we watch. I will remain a fan till the end (they owe me an ending after the last three crappy seasons!) but it's not what it was when it started.

I agree. Most shows have an expiration date but networks try to keep them going longer than they should. I was sad to see Breaking Bad end but also happy they ended it when it they did. I believe they had done all they could and IMO it is better for a show to go out on a high note. Once Upon A Time used to be one of my favorite shows but last season I found myself not as excited about it. I feel like this season should be the last but something tells me they will probably keep it going. I really enjoyed the first few seasons of Supernatural but then it started to go in a direction I didn't care for. I stopped watching it around 4 yrs ago. Whenever they decide to finally end it I will probably watch the final few episodes just because I was once such a big fan. |

It was supposed to end three seasons ago with Lucifer b/c that tied up everything going back to the pilot.
That episode got such high ratings the network wanted the show to keep going. They brought on new writers (which never goes well) and that's how we ended up with the last few seasons.
It's like it's a completely different show. I told DH they better figure out how to tie up everything b/c there are more plot holes than swiss cheese in Supernatural anymore. |

Still a bit underwhelmed at the new season.
Sheldon getting upset that Leonard is going to move in with Penny, really? This story has been done, move on! And move in, I mean you are married for craps sake!
I think it would be fun to see Sheldon try to break in a new roommate. Or even have Stuart move in with him.
The song was kind of funny though. Thor and Doctor Jones
Oh and Penny is finally letting her hair grow!
