My DH is assuming that the lack of mobility in the first half was ordered by Coach. And after halftime, they either pumped him full of drugs or Aaron decided winning meant he needed to be more mobile. Yeah, I didn't get to see a whole lot of the other games, the kids needed/wanted attention (we chased them into the basement for most of the Packer game. I believe they showed a street in Green Bay at half time.
It was deserted.

Yep, it usually is during game time. The rest of the state tends to be quieter too but not like Green Bay.

Hmmm, PFT (profootballtalk) is reporting that Manning's been playing with a tear or something in his quads the last 6 weeks or so.

Me too. Definitely. That is why I'm so glad the Seahawks have Russell Wilson. In a playoff game with the pressure of being the defending champions he goes eight-for-eight on third down for 199 yards and three touchdowns. Contrast that with someone in the earlier game who threw two horrible lob-the-ball-up-and-hope interceptions that cost his team the game. Russell Wilson was clutch that game, congrats to him.
However, if you put that loss on Flacco, it is obvious that you don't understand the team sport of football. Your anti-Flacco bias is clouding your reasoning.
He gave his team two fourteen point leads and Brady exploited our weak, depleted and pathetic secondary. His first interception lead to no points. It also helps to have receivers who fight for the ball!

Was hurt in the San Diego game. It would explain his lack of production the last month, but darn, you would think they would have given the back up some reps the last couple of weeks. Teams are not that dumb to recognize he has some sort of issue

So "he" was responsible for the good and the team that was responsible for the bad? No. The entire offense did its job, the defense did not (shout out to Justin Forsett!). The offense (led by Joe and his four touchdown passes) gave the team two fourteen point leads...is that better? Sheesh!

Sheesh! Much better. not really....she left out the part where their highly skilled coach missed figuring out the defense, and who needed to cover who. you must have missed the post-game press conference there, bill.

Actually, it was the refs who didn't do their job there. However, none of that "who was covering who" cost us the game, so to me that is irrelevant.
John is an awesome coach and has never been accused of cheating either.

The refs did not make a mistake. The player reported he was ineligible, and the refs announced the player was ineligible. Evidently the defensive players said to theirselves, "what the heck does that mean?"

Well, Denver sure did not show up on either side of the ball. Manning has not looked that bad since the Super Bowl last year. Any pass 15 yards out was way off the mark. Not even close
Watching Green Bay yesterday, I started rooting for Dallas. Rodgers looked so hurt, I figured he would have no chance against Seattle's defense, so I thought Dallas would give a better fight his Sunday. I wouldn't pull for Dallas if they were the only team on the field

More likely that things just loosened up enough for him that he could move more freely and with less pain. Used to happen to me all the time.
I don't have an anti-Flacco bias. Really. He's a decent quarterback. You can call him good at times although he still makes too many mistakes. Likely top third in the league. Easily top half. DEFINITELY overpaid, but then most quarterbacks are. Especially lately, when it seems like the going rate is $20 million/year. What I have instead is a "giving you a bad time" bias. And no matter how hard I try I just can't get past it. (Okay, okay, I don't really try that hard.)

Going into thread drift here, but just for today. I was not a College football fan as I either worked Saturday's or we were always busy doing stuff on Saturdays. Now retired, I have expanded my sports watching to the chagrin of my wife, BUT This is hard for a Hoosier to admit,
Ohio State kicked butt last night. Third string quarterback playing his third game, against the number 2 team in the nation. Big Ten has been considered trash compared to the other major conferences, and then on National tv is all of a sudden the big guy on campus With Harbaugh coming to Michigan, Wisconsin being a good one plus Michigan State, the Big Ten has a chance of coming back to a nationally ranked conference. Now if only Purdue and Indiana would take football serious

Today is the day. Green Bay at Seattle Indianapolis at New England
Green Bay 17 Seattle 28
Indianapolis 21 New England 24
My heart is with GB today, but my brain says id Rodgers is not 100% he cannot get it done
Does the Indianapolis linebacker play today, or is he in jail? Does this hurt the defense? Luck's luck runs out today

Patriots vs Seahawks in the Superbowl. It doesn't have to be pretty-we just need to get the job done. The royal "we"-Brady and company.

Holy Sh*t!!! Ten minutes ago I never would have thought the Seahawks had a prayer!!!! It aint over yet, though!!! About SuperBowl, Chiver. I think DH is going to have to be out of town for work. Single parenting and no road trips for me.

I will say that you're going to miss the highbrow event of the season - SB, with the TV flanked by boxes and takeout on Chinet. all of you New England crew have to come down this summer some time.

Belichick, after the game: "I've only got one thing to say. We're on to Seattle!"
What Brady should have said immediately afterward: "I've only got one thing to say. Coach can go wherever he wants. The REST of us are on to Arizona!"
(No, I can't stand Belicheat. Almost as big of an ass as Jim Harbaugh.)

Here's another great stat (for Seahawk fans anyway.)
Russell Wilson is now 10-0 against Super-Bowl-winning quarterbacks.
Aaron Rodgers......3-0 14-12 (2012), 36-16 (2014), 28-22 (2014 playoffs) Peyton Manning....2-0 43-8 (Super Bowl XLVIII), 26-20 (2014) Eli Manning..........2-0 23-0 (2013), 38-17 (2014) Drew Brees..........2-0 34-7 (2013), 23-15 (2013 playoffs) Tom Brady...........1-0 24-23 (2012)
And another interesting coincidence:
In Week 15 of the 2013 season, the Seattle Seahawks won their last road game of the year, 23-0, over the New York Giants at East Rutherford, NJ. The next time they got on a plane was to go win the Super Bowl in East Rutherford. In Week 16 of the 2014 season they won their last road game of the year, 35-6 over the Arizona Cardinals in Glendale, AZ. The next time they get on a plane will be for the Super Bowl in Glendale, AZ.

What a collapse by Green Bay!
Hey Seattle, better check those balls before you play.

Chicago Bears called. They asked Green Bay to give them their defensive playbook back.
