It won't matter one bit what the decision is or the facts for that matter.

Maybe we will be pleasantly surprised. I don't know which outcome would constitute a "pleasant" surprise for the majority but I can pretty well guess what group would find a guilty verdict "pleasant" and which would find it "unpleasant."

I read somewhere, here or newspaper, that a lady from Phx went to Ferguson to help 'protest' and when she got back home her house had been broken into.
Karma?
Wonder if she will go back.

Wonder if she will go back. Well, she probably missed the video of this punk bullying the storekeeper and had only seen a picture of him at age eleven tending the broken wing of a sparrow he found on the way to church......

There will be no guilty verdict today, tonight or tomorrow but there may be an innocent 'verdict' today, tonight or tomorrow.

If they (police and non-violent protestors) can keep the out of town troublemakers away it may not be too bad. Depends on how many came to loot and burn the businesses (which I bet are owned by local hard working people).

Remember 67 riots in Detroit? People don't care. It isn't theirs so they don't care.

The authorities will know slightly in advance if it's a guilty verdict so they can "align" their forces ahead of time.

In my "dream world," I would love to see the decent protesters grab the s-disturbers and beat the living crap out of then. So much for peaceful Kent......

Wonder if she will go back. Karma for what? What did the woman do? Is there an article about this you're not sharing that provides more information than simply that this woman went to Ferguson to participate in a protest? I think I'm missing something here.

Probably received a mass-forwarded email. 'A friend of a friend of a niece's second cousin's boyfriend's mothers' hairdresser's daughter' knew it happened.

The authorities will know slightly in advance if it's a guilty verdict so they can "align" their forces ahead of time. Kent - it is only a grand jury - they decide if the case should go to court or not. At no time will a grand jury ever decide that someone did the crime, only if there is enough evidence that he should be charged with the crime. The outcome will likely be "Not enough evidence" (at least from what I have read - admittedly, not enough to be an expert) however, if the evidence shows that a trial is merited the verdict will come "A Trial is Merited." Under no circumstances ever will the grand jury come back with a "guilty" verdict.

For me, a "pleasant" outcome would be no rioting. I will not call it a "surprise" because I am not assuming that rioting will take place.

I just got caught up in the moment by placing myself in the position of many or the protesters.
If the grand jury indicates a trial is in order, it "sort of" sends a message that "something" is amiss.
If they say no trial, then some will view it as a whitewash.

According to FAUX (I know, everything they say is a lie) the grand jury results will be announced at 6:00PM CA time.

CNN says 8 CT. I don't know why they are waiting until dark. The decision was handed down hours ago and the Grand Jury went home.

On the website godlikeproductions.com someone has posted a link to the county police scanner. They just said a crowd had grown large enough by Airport road intersection and therefore the road had been blocked.

I haven't heard it repeated in the last couple of ours but, there was an earlier report that information "supporting" the position of the grand jury would be released - of course this was FAUX News so who knows.
We'll all I have pretty good idea in an hour....

Did what you read also describe in detail what she did in Ferguson like looting, burning buildings, throwing things at the police and other violent things too?
Or did she go to Ferguson to peacefully protest and if she did just exactly that how was karma deserved?
The article didn't say anything about what she did in Ferguson, just that when she got home her house had been broken into.
My thoughts are ......... wonder how many other protestors are from out of the area. Karma? IMO she would have been better off staying at home and taking care of business here.

I don't think it's up to you and I to decide what another should do/have done. When someone indicates the concept of karma in relation to another's actions, it usually means the person has earned some sort of punishment. I still don't quite get why this woman would deserve punishment in your eyes. What did she do? Is it wrong to travel from one state to another for something you feel is important? I just don't get this at all.
