Well, I am sure everyone still believes the Obama Administration's assurance we are safe from Ebola and our CDC is on top of it................ If one hospital can blow this so badly so fast.............Here is a question for everyone.
How long will it be, before Isis or AQ decides to take some suicide volunteers, infect them with Ebola and send them throughout Europe and the United States via international flights, scattering the disease worldwide in a matter of weeks?

Maybe if we just give the leadership more money and pile on additional weaponry they will like us an leave us alone.
<sarcasm switch off>
Oh wait, I forgot, a few years ago Obama extended his hand in friendship rather than extending a fist as Bush did. Yep, that's the ticket, it's all the fault of George Bush.

Please explain how this scenario is not possible?

No idea what the response is from others. The scenario is possible. There are a lot of possible scenarios one might consider. What would the death toll be from an Ebola suicide campaign? How communicable is the disease? I think that there are more effective uses of resources than actually carrying out the campaign. Now, the terror that can be spread by the threat of such a campaign, that is another thing. Heck, they don't even have to use any of their resources to spread that terror. Others will do it for them.

Even, I believe the Administration is wondering how to stop this scenario today in the situation room Personally, I doubt it is happening at that level today but I am confident that there are government officials looking at the issue and developing contingency plans.

Micro-management of minimally potential threats is not what I want my top executive to be working on no matter the weather.

OK, Let's see now. CDC said there was no problem with Ebola at Dallas. Everything would be ok. Staff is protected. EQUIPMENT WILL PROTECT THE WORKERS. Just about seven days later (not 21) nurse is diagnosed with Ebola. Supposedly she became infected in his last days when they tried to save the patient. Apartment already sanitized, neighbors told not to worry. Someone close to her also is in isolation, and the pet shows no signs of contamination.
We have already seen the ability of this disease being transmitted via airplane, and we have seen how workers remove people who might be infected on the airplane, and then you (other passengers) are allowed to disembark and carry on as if nothing has happened.
I admit it. I happy I do not live in Texas, and it has nothing to do with politics of Texas........but more from the response of our Government so far. Carry on people, everything is fine, nothing to see here...........

I don't understand why Obama should be mentioned in this thread. Not sure I would have mentioned the CDC unless they had a presence in Dallas during all this.
In some other thread, someone noted the Ebola survival rate in the US is around 85%. Small sample, something like 8 people, but still ... all this fear-mongering and hand wringing is not how to address and fix something like this.
It will be figured out. Who knew I was supposed to blame W or other President's for weird medical outbreaks? Guess someone forgot to give me the memo(s).

One person, who might have done something stupid and against protocol for speed's sake.
One person. Not an epidemic, at least not in the US.

Obama aside, does anyone else wonder how is that HEALTH WORKERS are getting infected?
Shouldn't they be the ones who know the BEST way NOT to get infected?
There is very little hope left for regular people if doctors and nurses can't handle the situation.

It was Obama's decision not to stop flights from Africa back when the death count was 2000. Now it's up to 4000 and instead of stopping flights from Africa, 5 airports will do screening that prove nothing. What's not to understand?

And, the WHO reported it as 2800 one week ago and now it is 3800. Another 1000 deaths in just one week.

Except for the nurse who got infected. But who cares right? If you have evidence that connects the case to a terrorist organization, I am sure there are people who would love to see it.

You are talking of Fearmongering Bills. I am sure the nurse who is infected is very fearful right about now. But, who cares if people get infected?
