Oct 23 (Reuters) - A physician with Doctors without Borders who returned from West Africa recently and developed potential symptoms was being tested for Ebola at a New York City hospital, health officials said on Thursday, setting off fresh fears about the spread of the virus.
www.reuters.com/article/2014/10/23/health-ebola-usa-idUSL2N0SI2LX20141023I really hope this guy has the stomach flu or something. I was hoping all the hysteria would die down. Test results possibly by late tonight. actually, don't get me wrong, but i welcome this case. this guy will know PRECISELY how to deal with it. and, this will ALSO make the case about travel restrictions. again, don't think i want people infected. i don't. but the chances are extremely remote in this case, and the prognosis is better than most, given the patient.

The case has already been made by scientists about a travel ban- bad idea.
Funny they want a czar with medical background- yet that czar would tell them a travel ban is counter productive. Fuck them- I refer to my other thread. The country wants stupid- have at it. I vote no more.
