I am thinking of making Sun my 'junk food' day for the weekend instead of Sat while I watch my Bears (probably get creamed). I also have a coupone for a FREE container of guacamole AND/or Aldi has avocados on sale this week. Just need to be reasonably good & have it w/cut veggies instead of chips.

Monday ~ sirloin Tuesday ~ sirloin Wednesday ~ smoked salmon and cottage cheese Thursday ~ smoked salmon and cottage cheese Friday ~ chicken patty Saturday ~ chicken patty Sunday ~ tilapia That's 2 beef, 2 chicken, 3 seafood for the week. As always, my standard breakfasts and lunches.... for lunch I trade off between turkey and ham. I just finished 3 days' worth of asparagus ... yummy. I may look for some more in the store ~ but I like the slender/skinny stalks and not the big, woody ones. The last 2 time I looked at avocadoes they didn't look good ... but I'll look again for the next store visit. Corn on the cob is still very much in season here, yay! (And our tomato plants are still producing like gangbusters!)

I have decided that I'm weirdly picky about cottage cheese brands. From the regular store, I only like Fiber One or Lactaid lowfat cottage cheese. Or the Trader Joes brand of lowfat cottage cheese. But the regular store also carries several other brands ... and I do NOT like their texture or consistency.... blecch. I like seasoning my cottage cheese with some ground sundried tomato sprinkles.

This weekend: Probably smoke something Update: Making eggplant Parmesan tomorrow night. Well, I'll assemble it tonight, then bake tomorrow night. It's my first time ever buying and working with eggplant. I'll use up the cup or so leftover spaghetti sauce with Italian sausage from earlier this month, currently thawing in the fridge.
