Very nice! And what a great idea for use of an old wooden pallet.

That's really pretty, Marley! It makes a great backdrop for seasonal decorations.

Hawt Dayum that is beautiful steffI thought it wasn't too bad for a first try. I'm thinking of buying color coordinated ornaments after xmas (on sale!) & making one to match my other stuff.

Love, Love, Love!! Your ornament wreath, steff. It's gorgeous!
Now you have to share how you did it - did you use a wire or styro-foam ring to attach the ornements to, or what? I have a box of older ornaments that are just sitting collecting dust. I'd love to do something like this with them!
Please share how this all came together.

Here's the video I got it from.
It's literally just a coat hanger & ornaments & a bow. Took me about 15 minutes total to make it.

Steff you desk looks fabulous. Is this the haunted desk you weren't sure about taking? Hey! It was a table & corner hutch that was haunted, and no I didn't take it. My aunt's granddaughter ended up with it. I got the desk from a different aunt. I love it and it turned out great!

I want to make these for my niece. I already have the green ornaments, but not sure if I'll get them done before I can give them to her, may have to set them aside for next Christmas (I bought them on clearance last year). Yeah, I know, it would probably take all of ten minutes... (I can't resize the pic on my little laptop for some reason, will try to when I get to my other computer, sorry if it's really big)

To anyone who cares: use boiled Linseed oil to bring life back to old, faded, rattan furniture. It is incredible. I'm using it on some porch furniture that is probably 70 yrs old, really sun bleached and dry & it is a miracle cure.

Glow-in-the-dark paint on outdoor planters: Cool. Just paint? No instructions?

Finally - a cactus plant/garden you can't kill - no matter how brown your green thumb is.
Find some flat rocks/stones, and paint them with various shades of green paint - add "thorns" with with a fine brush or paint pen & white or light colored paint. "Plant" the stones in a terra-cotta pot filled with small gray or white pebbles for 'dirt or sand' to create a pretty cactus planter for outdoors or in:.

Glow-in-the-dark paint on outdoor planters: Evidently, those are NOT just paint. Those are $170 (each) LED planters. According to the link, using just paint will leave you very disappointed.

Tired of shoes piled up and cluttering your entrance-way or mud room? Install some coat hooks low on the wall for an instant shoe rack. You could do this inside a closet as well for extra shoe-storage:

Has your kid out-grown their Hot Wheels? Create a unique picture frame for their room by attaching them to a plain frame.
This might also be a good selling-item to make for a Craft Fair:

I bought these at a resale shop for $1 each... White paint & chalkboard paint to turn them into display trays. My hair salon has said I can put a little display on a table to sell soaps & sugar scrubs. with the chalkboard I can write what is on each tray & change when necessary.
