I had a chipotle black bean burger (Aldi) on and english muffin, and a baked potato. Hit the spot.

Pat, for upset stomach, flat ginger ale. Told to me by a pharmacist. Works like a charm. Better than OTC meds.

Last night was the last of the tuna fish on a english muffin. Than I had some chips and salsa.
Tonight is spaghetti. Tomorrow will be some kind of breakfast burrito with eggs and mushrooms.
I am fighting a craving for spicy doritos so I am going to need to make a store run soon. (if I don't give in it will be really bad later.)

tonight, I'll have the rest of the small BBQ chicken pizza from Sunday night. maybe a bowl of salad greens w/vinaigrette if I'm still hungry.
I also need to make banana bread before the bananas turn completely black. oops.

The last of the turkey burgers are for dinner tonight. I do need to stop and get some whole-grain rolls for them. I still have some onion rings for DH (I bake them, rather than fry them). I will top my burger with some lettuce, sauteed mushrooms and shallots - I need to use them, so I will make them tonight and have the rest later in the week.

roommate roasted one of the chickens I picked up on sale awhile back. we thought it would have thawed by Sunday, but it didnt. he said it was actually still pretty frozen in the middle when he started prepping it. I guess removing the giblets was an adventure. so, roasted chicken, garlic mashed potatoes and a corn/peas blend. I had 1/4 chicken dark, he had 1/4 chicken white, and the rest will go into a veggie loaded* chicken stirfry tomorrow night. *I went a little nuts with produce at Whole Paycheck the other day. tomorrow night's dinner will be damn awesome. ;D sent from my electronic distraction

I believe tonight is going to be a frozen pizza of some kind. And doritos -- hopefully I can contain myself but when I get urges for food it takes quite a bit for them to stop for me.

Sloppy joes, macaroni and cheese, cauliflower. Forgot to put a dab of velvetta in the mac cheese. It was flat.

Late DH & I always ate out a LOT between Thanksgiving eve (our anniversary) and New Years. I am declaring this week a NO COOK week and eating our/bringing in for most of my meals (mostly excluding breakfast). I have a BUNCH of local places in mind but will watch Groupon for deals on nearby places.
So far I plan on: BBQ w/a friend (already paid Groupon) Pizza $5 special Local chain lunch special $6 (2 meals of food) Local oriental grocery/catering place $12 (at least 2 meals of food)
Other possibles: Dunkin Donut (have gift card) Arby 2/$6 sandwich special Subway $3 special Taco Bell $4-5 (like it)
Figure I will spend about $50-60 total.

I'm at my parents house, they just got back up from Florida...so I ordered some Chinese food for them. I think there will be left overs.

Takeout from a Whole Foods hot counter to munch on during our drive home from a family wedding. The Whole Foods we hit was by far the largest and best laid-out Whole Foods I have ever been to. The hot bar and salad bars were fabulous. It was pricey, but healthier than rest-stop food, most of which my kids can't safely eat anyway.

Went out to eat at L'Académie and had had the mussels in Roquefort cream sauce with frites. Sun-Wed special @ $11.99. It was divine.

Day 2 NCW
Went to a BBQ place w/a long time family friend. Cost to me was the 12.75 I spent on a Groupon about 2-3 months ago.
I have enough left over brisket, cole slaw, onion rings for another meal.
Not likely to repeat this place. Inconvienent location & I do not like their sauce - too sweet.

We still have ham, so it will be ham steaks and baked sweet potatoes. I will probably steam some carrots as well.

12/22 NCW
Went to get carry out at an oriental grocery & carry out. I have not been there for several years and am unlikely to go again. The place desperately needs to be reported to the health dept (FILTHY!)and I just may do it.
Picked up a deli sandwich & a sweet treat. Spent 5.00

picked up boneless pork chops last night and made a pot of white rice as well. tonight will be spicy pork fried rice, as I have a ton of veggies in the fridge that need to be eaten or tossed in the next couple days.
cost - $1.96 for the pork chops.
