sarcastic - stay warm! I have the option to work from home, but DH's company doesn't allow it and so he has to head in tomorrow. I'll be driving him to the train, obviously.
jtndsl - I swam intervals, so it was all freestyle in sets of about 200 meters. I did builds (the first lap is your slowest, then you swim faster and by the last lap you're doing your fastest) and decels (which is the opposite.) I'm happy to send you the actual workout if you're a swimmer and interested. (There are a bunch with different distances.)
sug - thanks! I hope I get smilies!
As for me, I was down A LOT this morning - I think I was dehydrated. I wanted to work out today, but ended up shoveling the driveway with DH and messed up my back again, because I'm an idiot. We'll see what the morning brings for Monday weigh-in. But at the very least, I think this no alcohol thing is working for my weight/water retention! I've only been not drinking since like Wednesday, but the scale has gone down every single day!

Not sure yet what I'm doing today other than grocery shopping for healthy foods for the week, but I'm signed up for spinning class tomorrow morning. May have to skate there, but at least I'm committed (or should that be "I should be committed"?)

Oh okay... i've never heard of spaghetti and chili before. Sounds interesting. I'd try it with spaghetti squash. It's really big in Cincinnati for whatever reason. Two famous places for it are Gold Star Chili (https://m.goldstarchili.com) and Skyline Chili (http://www.skylinechili.com/m/index.php). I've had Skyline (because that was my cousin's favorite when he and his wife lived there), and it's only okay to me. The spaghetti thing was weird, but not horrible. yeah, it didn't sound appealing when they were making a batch on the show. but I liked the idea of the dish, with some tweaking. I will totally do it again when I have more chili. I finished off the leftovers when I got home from hockey last night, with some Tostitos scoops.

Well, looks like the weigh-in was maybe not a fluke? Weighed in around the same this morning! Can only imagine am losing muscle from not doing my circuit training enough. But only 8 more lbs to make it to my first weight goal? I'll take it!

WAY TO GO BSB!!!
I am SORE today from my combat yesterday. Thinking that I'll be doing a lot of jogging in place today to get to my 10k steps and maybe some yoga to help my aching muscles. Gotta get creative since I am only stepping foot outside to take my dog to potty lol

I live in Cincinnati/Dayton and thought the same thing when I first moved here about the chili/spaghetti thing. The chili is made with cinnamon which gives it a different taste. You can get a 3-way (chili, spaghetti and cheese) or a 4 way, which is a 3 way but you add beans or onions, or a 5-way, which is everything (chili, spaghetti, cheese, beans and onions). IT's ok. Then of course you have the coneys. If I go there, I usually get a chili cheese sandwich! You get used to it. Around here at parties, someone will usually bring "skyline dip" which is the chili, cheese and cream cheese I think - that's pretty good. I am always looking for something to do with spaghetti squash, so I'll have try a variation of this! a
I haven't' done too much in exercise wise over the weekend. I did de-Christmas my apartment, which included moving bins and carrying my tree downstairs 3 flights to the dumpster. I also made a bunch of trips to the dumpster. I actually worked up enough of a sweat to open my sliding door a few inches because I got so hot. I am going to try and do one of my dvds tonight after I drop my DS off at his dads and BF goes to work. I have been doing a little better with eating and haven't been drinking alcohol during the week.

Ugh, my Facebook feed is blowing up lately with people advertising for Plexus Slim as a weight loss supplement aid. Is anyone else's? I'm so tired of seeing the plugs for the quick fix.

I'm at work too - no workout last night - DH's train was late, so after dealing with B and trying to work all day I just didn't have it in me. Went to bed early and woke up to a broken furnace. So, it's unlikely I'll get a workout today either as we will probably use the evening to pack up and head to the inlaws until they can get someone out to look at the furnace.

I'm burning calories shivering and freezing my buns off....
however, more of the not-so-skinny-bear friendly foods are gone from the house

Last night I made it to the gym, but tonight is a no-go. Wayyyy too cold. I did mall walk before work though. I plan to hit the gym this week on Thurs, Sat, and Sun.

DS fought sleep tonight, so I didn't have as much time as I wanted, but I did manage to get in a quick 20 minutes on the treadmill after he finally fell asleep.

Good job, tcu, for not giving up on getting in some exercise. Just think of all the people who might have said, "Oh, it's too late now" or "I'm too tired". Good for you!

Got the furnace fixed, but no workout last night. I told DH to push me out the door to go swimming tonight, so hopefully I'll get a good workout today.

Today I feel like crying; my pain management guy admitted to being completely out of ideas that don't involve invasive procedures on the inside of my head, which I've told him are a no-go. So what the **** do I do now??

I need to stick with this thread! I've made a couple bad choices involving brownies the past few days. Time to focus! Today so far so good- oatmeal, milk, coffee and an apple. I have a healthy choice for lunch and yogurt for a snack. Steak tonight at home - yum!
Oh no kilroy, is there anyone else you can see??

I don't either - but you said you got a bad headache by going to a concert, so maybe having to give some of that stuff up? I'm sorry, I don't have an answer for you, but I wish you the best.
Also, as someone with chronic pain, your GP can go walk off a pier.

<chiver dons a flame suit> have you thought about the foods you're eating as a source of your pain? I've had a very young cousin and a few close friends be diagnosed with fibromyalgia and other autoimmune chronic illnesses. all have gone paleo or dairy-free and all have a very improved quality of life since making that change. Autoimmune Paleoeither way, I hope you can figure out something that works for you.
