Given the thread instantly moved to the topic of gun-grabbing democrats and hasn't deviated, one might attribute "Rush Jr."'s success to a bounty of willing consumers.

We've been exploited by our desire to have people believe sane things. Its the usual message board trap.

At least one of those senators was voted to be recalled by democrats because of his stance on marijuana, not gun control. There was a huge campaign to notify democrats of John Morse's history on legalizing marijuana, which apparently was successful. i thought weed is legal in CO? was he against it? p.s. legalizing it is just the first step. after it's universal, we'll need to get available for free!

A combination of you and Paul from Reply #112 thru Reply #115. I have to hand it to Paul: the man knows how to market an idea. dothedd's thread on the US's narrow miss signing on to the UN Arms Trade Treaty didn't even make 7 replies. Poor fellow should research creative ways to call Democrats stupid, drum up some genuine interest for his threads.

There was no creativity involved. He outright said it. If I called you stupid, you'd probably respond.

Market an idea or get responses? I actually think its the latter. Doxie and some others on YM have the 'gift' too.

Apparently he sponsered a bill or something to kill legalized marijuana. At least according to the half dozen phone calls I got over the past 2 weeks. Honestly I never really looked into it. Here is something about it blog.sfgate.com/smellthetruth/2013/09/11/john-morse-nations-worst-politician-on-pot-recalled/Apparently he has been labeled "the United States’ worst state pot politician". Genius though. Republicans wanted him out over gun control. They got the dems to go along based on his pot stance.

well, to me, his pot stance is way more important than his gun stance. i don't own a gun. i had a BB/Pellet gun as a kid and have fired a double barreled shotgun once, and I believe in the right to bear arms. But legal weed is much bigger issue for me. i might even be able to be bought off with a legal weed vs banned guns deal.

I sure wish they'd legalize it in Michigan!

....one might attribute "Rush Jr."'s success to a bounty of willing consumers. The only thing necessary for the triumph of idiocy is that rational people say nothing. I would venture that very few people respond to a Rush Jr. thread because they think he is actually worth debating.
