I'm thoroughly sick of Zimmerman. I don't care what the man does, or doesn't do. He's just not news.

Must have happened in Florida so it's worthy of news.

Can we just go ahead and get an "All Encompassing Zimmerman/Florida sucks" thread created by evt1 and have it stickied? That way when the inevitable daily thread pops up it can just be moved to this thread?

I'm surprised you saw it, zib. Zib wouldn't have to see it. Seeing who started the thread tells you all you need to know about the contents of said thread.

I disagree, FinancialTexan. We are not prescient. We are not all-knowing. You might think you are; however, I know you not to be. Assuming what someone else might say and acting on that assumption is beyond arrogant ... unless, you happen to read minds. I don't think zib does. Besides, I think zib is well aware of what I was saying, and my post was directed toward zib, not you.

You can start any thread you like, but you can't tell evt what threads he should start, FinancialTexan. You also can't dictate when a thread shall be merged.

Seriously....you have zero sense of humor. I'm not telling you you don't have a sense of humor....that's just my observation....for clarification purposes. So I don't get "chided" for telling you what you do or don't have. It just really gets old.....apparently even to you....when the same posters start threads about the same subject. Also....as a member of this forum, we can't suggest things that might actually de-clutter this forum? Of course if I started that thread....I'd get in trouble for putting evt anywhere in the thread title even though EVERYONE here knows it would be his bread and butter thread.

When I see a poster being targeted (no matter how covertly), you're right, FinancialTexan. I lose my sense of humor. Additionally, you don't know what EVERYONE here knows. If you have suggestions, you're welcome to offer them. The board's owner is moonbeam. Her email address is at the top of the home page in bold type. You could also PM.

Yes, he's on ignore but, yes, I could guess he was up to his old tricks. Even other posters are sick of him.

So you're telling me that if there's a negative thread posted about Florida then I shouldn't 90+% sure I know who started the thread? Whether I'm all knowing or not has little to do with taking logical facts based on past thread starting on subjects negative to Florida. I can then deduce with a relatively high % of accuracy who started said thread before I actually see it. So you're telling me that if I ask who generally starts threads with the thread title(s) of "Can Obama be...." or "Is Obama the....", you really can't tell me who I'm most likely talking about? Seriously.....?? All knowing has nothing to do with noticing trends....but you should know that already.

Saying you are 90+% sure of something, FinancialTexan, is quite different than proclaiming EVERYONE knows something.
I really can't see the sense in answering a question about who generally starts threads with the thread title <whatever>. As I see it, that's concentrating on talking about the poster, not the subject under discussion.

Okay....EVERYONE (on these boards) is a bit crazy of a statistic. There are in fact some people who don't even go to the boards in question that these threads would be started on.
However, it's not difficult to say that 100% of posters who are quite familiar with the Current Events and P&M boards could "Name Those Posters!!"
As to not answering the question on who the poster was.......whether you answered it or not...you know who I'm talking about.

It's not fair to say 100% of anyone not you is anything, FinancialTexan. That's a statistic you cannot know unless you are the only one being counted, or you and those who have positively confirmed to you they could name those posters are the only ones being counted in that 100%. You cannot state what I know because you don't know, for sure, what I know. EVERYONE is always too inclusive when used by someone who really doesn't know EVERYONE.

The best answer is if you do not like the thread do not respond and it will go away. You don't have to click on it at all. It was in the news, it is a current event, and IMO just backs up my opinion the guy is a sociopath and has no respect for the law.
I didn't even post about his last photo op at the Kel-Tec plant which his own lawyer derided- that was news worthy as well. No comment-OK by me.
So to recap- don't like the topic- move right along or find your ignore button- I don't care what you think about it- only interested in any opinions related to the topic.

According to mmhmmm....you can't tell me I can't click on a thread. Then again....I do actually enjoy reading threads that you have started because I know they are based off nothing more than your hatred for a state and just get more amusing as they go. They are the tloony threads of Current Events and P&M.
I admire your dedication to keeping evil Florida...who apparently kicked your puppy as a child....in the top of the thread list.

Yes...but I can take a highly educated guess that you knew who I was talking about. Then again you'd never actually say that I was right in knowing you guessed the same person so the point is moot.

I don't think getting a speeding ticket is any indication of someone being a sociopath. I do think he has serious issues though and can't possibly understand the motive to tour the gun factory. I just wish he would go away and don't understand this obsession with making everything he does newsworthy (not referring to you evt1, rather the media). I think that about most celebrities in the news though.

That's caught speeding twice in a month or so- you get pulled over that much? Sociopath- his little Kel-Tec photo op backs that up not to mention all of the other evidence. Divorce- probably a good thing for her- might have ended up dead one day. Just my opinion. We have not heard the last from that guy.

I have. I've seen his name, and I saw the headline about his wife divorcing him. I didn't read the article, however. I couldn't care less about him. He's old, bad news.

I understand that view- and the media would probably quiet down if he would keep a low profile- which he can't seem to do. I forget about it until I see headlines and then it bugs me as George Zimmerman= Rollo Tomasi.
But I mean big news down the road- Karma is serious business. Eventually the bill has to be paid.
Until then I won't post another Zimmerman thread- that should be good news right? SYG is still fair game though when the Jordan Davis case comes up or someone else blows away some unarmed people and tries to hide behind it.

I really like SYG. The NRA got it right when promoting that law. No more having to retreat when some guy punches you or any other physical attack. You can bet the next hoodie tough guy punk in Florida thinks twice before attacking someone.
