Squirmed out of another tight spot, did he? Not yet, but it may take awhile to know what actually happened. It seems Mr. Zimmerman took it upon himself to destroy the IPad that was recording the incident. Interesting. I wonder how much money and manpower will be devoted to a video of George Zimmerman packing up his stuff?

Penny (storming in): I need to use your window. Leonard: Oh, yeah, no, sure, go ahead. Penny (opening window): Hey Jerkface, you forgot your iPod! (Throws it out.) Leonard: What’s going on? Penny: Oh, I’ll tell you what’s going on, that stupid self-centered bastard wrote about our sex life in his blog. (Out of window) Drop dead, you stupid self-centered bastard! (To Leonard) Thank you. (exit) ... Raj (entering): Hey, look, I found an iPod. Howard: It’s smashed beyond repair, what are you going to do with it? Raj: What else? Sell it on ebay as slightly used. bigbangtrans.wordpress.com/series-1-episode-17-the-tangerine-factor/

Thanks Bills. I sit corrected. There are many reasons I guess to destroy someone else's property. Especially on TV and movies.

The police spokesman said, quite clearly, they were going to put in the necessary money and manpower to find out what's on the tape. Since we don't know what's on the tape, I don't know the answer to your question. Neither, for that matter, do you. I don't believe he was packing up any stuff. I don't think I've read he ever entered the house; however, I don't know that.

No one sane is messing around someone else's house at 2am. Zimmerman, of all people, ought to know what happens in the dark isn't always pretty.

Well, it tells you something that since the police said they would discover what's on it, Zimmerman's estranged wife decided to back track.

No. Actually, Mrs. Zimmerman backtracked at the suggestion of her attorney. At that time, nothing had been said about retrieving the material on the IPad.

Man this sounds familiar: Police reports released earlier Wednesday — with the Zimmermans’ names redacted — provided conflicting accounts of the argument that unfolded •Shellie Zimmerman’s father, David Dean, told police that his son-in-law hit him in the face. •Shellie Zimmerman said that her husband smashed the iPad on his leg and used a pocketknife to cut it into pieces, while her husband said he took the iPad after she used it to hit him several times on the back. Security video showed him apparently dismantling the tablet. •Shellie Zimmerman said that during the argument, George “reached his hand into his shirt to what she assumed was a gun.” She said he told her father, “Step closer,” and he responded, “What are you going to do, shoot me?” •A witness, identified in the report as Eugene Johnson, told police he saw George Zimmerman “very aggressively” reach for what he thought was a gun and tell his father-in-law, “Come towards me, you are threatening me.” However, he did not actually see a gun. •George Zimmerman told police that he was locking the garage door when his father-in-law “charged him” and knocked him to the ground. When he got back up, he said, the father-in-law “became aggressive and was trying to attack him,” the report said. Yep - very familiar. "Shellie Zimmerman wants this relationship to end with a whimper and not a bang,” divorce attorney Kelly Sims said at a Wednesday evening press conference, with his client standing silently by his side. No shit- no bang please unless it is her pulling the trigger.

Squirmed out of another tight spot, did he? Nah, she's just a manipulative beotch who leveraged his notoriety to cause him trouble because obviously they're getting divorced and things aren't going well. For better or for worse, our zero-tolerance for domestic violence has some side effects, and one of them is people that abuse the system for their own ends. Wow. Is there more stories about this woman that lead you to this conclusion? Or all victims of DV manipulative bitches seeking revenge? Is it really that far-fetched to think in the heat of the moment she thought that he had a gun only later to realize you never actually saw it and just assumed there was a gun? Seems like a logical possibility and frankly more likely than assuming she made up the entire story simply because a detail changed. Why recant only that detail if she made up the whole damn thing?

Frankly, anyone presuming Zimmerman to be armed at any given time can't really be faulted for that particular prejudice.

Are you adding this thread to the official Zimmerman/Martin tally, billis? I don't want outdated or inaccurate stats the next time you post one of your "what's hot and what's not?" updates.

The word NUMBSKULL comes to mind. This guy needs serious help. His wife seems to be no prize either. I'm sure they are better off apart as they seem to bring out the worst in each other.

You can't just hand a Democrat a gun and suddenly fix stupid. I've long thought that Democrats, due to their beliefs, should forfeit their right to keep and bear arms when they register Democrat.

Do you vote for gun-grabbing Democrats? I think it should be done to you according to your voting record. You get higher taxes, too, btw.

Gun control isn't one of my hot button issues, and my local NY dems representatives, except for Cuomo, tend not to be gun grabbers. Again, find me a fiscally conservative social libertarian and I'm all over that candidate.

Can you prove Zimmerman has? I think your politics blinds you to the fact that all sorts of people are stupid irregardless of political affiliation, race, religion, income level, country of origin, etc. Zimmerman is stupid because of himself, not because of his politics or some other red herring reason. FWIW I don't think handing a gun to someone does anything except give them a gun. It would be stupid IMO to think otherwise.

I know workpublic, except not all Democrats are pro gun control. And for some of us it depends. I personally hated the knee jerk reaction after the recent school shootings as in recent cases all guns were obtained legally by the owners.
Some things can't be fixed by passing yet another law and its good to acknowledge that IMO. Independents cannot vote in primaries here so I feel judging someone solely on their political afflication is exceedingly dumb. If I were more political and planned better for various elections I'd switch my affliation based on who's running.

At least one of those senators was voted to be recalled by democrats because of his stance on marijuana, not gun control. There was a huge campaign to notify democrats of John Morse's history on legalizing marijuana, which apparently was successful. It amused me because all those ads/phone calls targeting dems didn't mention a single thing about the gun control issue. Know your audience I guess.

Makes it pretty damn clear as to what PBPs biases are and what he is unable to view logically though.
