perfect, thanks for the heads up. this is a work-issued laptop, so whatever settings they have is what I have. that must be it then.

Are they still working on that fix? Chrome has been doing the same to me lately.

PB has been rolling out the fix over the last couple of days so it *should* be good here now. This thread just scrolled as it should for me, anyway.

If by correctly, you mean speed scrolling from the top of the page to the newest post, then sure. It used to just open on the previous post without the whole page whizzing by. Improved, but not back to my normal. ETA: and when I posted this, the page went back to the top of the page and speed scrolled to my post.

It's my guess that since ProBoards is working on finishing V6, that's where their concentration is so they're just putting in quick fixes for now. We may see things not quite at optimum with regard to band-aids on misbehaving code until the new version is rolled out.

It's all good, mmhmm Like I said, it's certainly better than it has been. (I didn't mean to sound like a whiner)

I tried to tag someone in post and got message can't connect to server. Tried again later same message! But my post did go thru. Hitch in their getalong!

Maybe the board itself is putting people on "Ignore."

Maybe the board itself is putting people on "Ignore." It is being selective then.

Maybe the board itself is putting people on "Ignore." Now there's a thought. In my case, I often think of it as the board doesn't want me to post that. The Cloudserver I use goes down semi-frequently. I think it might be used by many tri-staters. Guess. It gets persnickety/goes down in flames/ simply isn't working now/?
We are also comfortably into what I call upgrade season, the time when many companies will push their newest versions of software and swap out hardware(hardware upgrades). These include, but are not limited to - Google, Verizon, Yahoo, etc. ^ |
Interesting. Not sure if bug, feature, or it was just time to do w's instead of the usual accidental bvg.

Woah. Loook at that! The line of 's disappeared. (When I posted.)
Bug & feature, final answer.

Features missing for me. Anyone else? What's not working, billis, and how is it not working? I figured that was a reasonable but lazy first step. I wasn't seeing faces or buttons. When I quoted, nothing showed up in the reply box. Thought I would just check with others. Your response said to me, "Nope, not a Proboards problem" so I restarted my tablet and now have no problem. Thanks.

We were accused of censoring by someone else it happened to. It's somehow always our fault even when it's not.

Our facility was once sued because the grass on our field didn't survive a bad winter and we ruined the bride's spring wedding plans. (The judge found no fault on our part.) It was an interesting set of things that were missing and with my very limited understanding of how any of this stuff works, I wondered if it was all of the wonderful things that you (and others ) have added to make YMAM an incredible place. I hope you don't think I was finding "fault", just thinking it was potentially one of those glitches that pops up now and then.

Curious about this:
If I hit the Quote bubble in the reply bar (rather than the Quote button to quote an entire post) I get the "insert quote here" notification but there is no box. It will show up in a box when it posts, but before then it is a guess whether anything I post in addition to that will be inside or outside of the quote box. Or what also happens sometimes in trying to properly format my post, I end up with an empty quote box, the part I was trying to quote after the box, and my own addition after that. I have to go back and edit, doing a cut-and-paste to put the intended quote back into the box. Does this happen for anyone else?

Not sure if I am understanding what you are saying but when I want to quote part of a post I just highlight that part in the post, copy then paste to reply box then high light it again and hit quote button on reply bar. Maybe I am doing it the long way around but works for me.
