Cat fighting. Bearing in mind the gender of the participants. And Ms. Weltz, having been a student at three Canadian universities over a ten year period, may I suggest that our universities can hold their own perfectly well without us championing their greatness or belittling the FISA ranking of our southern neighbours.

ROFL! Doesn't matter to me what gender it is, Virgil. Penis-waving is penis-waving, and I call it as I sees it! ;D

I'll warn you one more time to keep your posts on the subject, not the poster. I'd suggest you heed that warning. mmhmm, P&M Moderator A thousand apologies. I have a tendency to make facts and figures the bedrock of my posts. Welts takes it as a compliment you take it as a insult...priceless! [/quote] Where do you see anything about an insult, B2r?

Man with 11 posts is commenting on Weltz's established pattern? Who did you use to be? Multi-nick?

I call it as I sees it! ;D Alas... that privilege is reserved to the select few. The Elite.

I see that the arrogant little warmonger, Romney, has switched from saying "American energy independence" to "North American energy independence". That little prick does NOT speak for Canada, and we don't like it. It sounds like he doesn't want to be POTUS....he wants to be King of the World. And, neither do you speak for America or for whom Americans should elect to lead their country. Welts has lived in America, contributed to America, cares about America, and is well informed about America. As far as I am concerned, welts can speak her mind all she wants about America!

I suppose Shooby would like to tell Virgil, Scottish Lassie and other Canadian posters to keep their comments about the U.S. to themselves from now on too.

It really has nothing to do with your post, zipidy, as much as it has to do with an attitude.
Hmmm, not sure how you can tell what my attitude is based on my post. I've not only spent a lot of time in the Toronto area half my extended family lives in/around Montreal. I don't have anything against Canadians and I do have some very close Canadian friends and work associates. I have always poked fun at various Canadianisms and taken just as much back from my Canadian friends/acquaintances.
All that said, I guess no one remembers that the original discussion here was about the debate. The same debate where once again Romney made a comment about Mass having the best schools in the US. The part of my post that no one took issue with was my mention of that rank being due to MA taxpayers, implying not Romney. I'm more than willing to get back to the original discussion but I'm done with the US v Canada discussion.

Welts takes it as a compliment you take it as a insult...priceless! Oh! We warn people for compliments now? The warning states quite clearly to stay on subject, B2r. There's nothing there about insults, or compliments. Are you having some sort of difficulty with reading comprehension? Perhaps, rolling around on the floor again is beginning to have a negative impact on your thinking processes.

Most heartily agree, Virginina! The world is getting smaller all the time. We're all connected, whether we like it, or not. What impacts one impacts all in one way, or another. The only thing I ask is that discussion remain reasonably civil. It's a bit silly for adults to call names and "shun" some because they don't live in the same country. If someone from Rho-freaking-desia is interested, I think that's great!

I haven't been here. You, however, have. It's clear you still can't comprehend written English. That's a pity.
ETA: I hadn't seen the post before and didn't notice the date.
