Bitten nails. The person is a total loser. And I used to be a nail biter, so I know! Really? I think women with long fingernails or fake fingernails and i think they are disgusting. Full of bacteria and/or not someone prone to doing much hard work. ;D

Well, my oldest teen son doesn't have much in the way of nails. I don't think he bites them kind of tears them off. I don't think he is a loser or maybe he is cuz he is related to me!

Putting on toenail polish is like putting lipstick on a pig. I still do it the summer for sandals and flip flops but it still strikes me as weird.

I don't like drunks, people who are high at work from marijuana, whiners, people who clutch at me, nutjobs, and bores. I also am repelled by people with bad breath, and people who think that Harlequin novels are the highest form of literature, and those who feel they must convert me to their religious or political beliefs by force.
I detest robo phone calls, and people who try to sell me windows door-to-door. I'm afraid of pit bulls ( known locally as pibbles ), but I don't detest them. I'm afraid of catching the flu or pneumonia, so I guess I have a bias against people who are currently infected with those conditions ( some pneumonias are not infectious ). I am somewhat biased against war.
I am biased against people with too many biases, such as myself ;D. I am biased against parents who let their kids run wild through restaurants.
that's all for now....

Bis, I think it is more that some people weren't raised with animals. I wasn't allowed to have dogs growing up because my mom didn't like animals...but she wasn't allowed to have them growing up because her mom was afraid. I married a dog lover and I have had dogs ever since...they really are a part of my family. So I don't always assume the worst about someone that claims to not be an animal lover. I think people not raised with animals find it hard to understand the cononection. Then again, I also find it weird that anyone would hate kids...yet there are quite a few of you here!lol It's not that i don't like kids, it's that they should just go sit over there for a while and be quiet. Oh yes, so much truth in that last sentence. Shhhh, you little bassids.

I am biased against people who don't know that "ed" is necessary on a verb to show that it's in the past tense. I'm also biased against those who start super-stupid threads, unless it's one I've started, of course. But, I've never done that.....
I'm easily annoyed by ads that don't seem to hawk any specific product. That's just weird.

I have a vague sense that you really aren't a "people person". Have you considered any outposts in Alaska?

Bias - I try to avoid Walmart in the fall. A lot of coughing, hacking and flu symptoms start going around and everyone is hacking up in your face when you are waiting in line.

If I go up there, I can tell the neighborhood kids to " get off my ice " istead of " get off my lawn ! " I LIKE it.

What is the "people who clutch at me"? Do you have a lot of people "clutching" you? What are they doing, like hanging off your leg like a dog in heat or what? ;D

Honestly, Shooby, I used to work with a very voluble woman who used to seize one of my arms and clutch onto it while she was holding forth. I think that she unconsciously did it to make sure that her listeners didn't sprint away as fast as they could. She did that to everybody. None of us were very fond of it. She could get a strong grip on you.....

I know. I used to just bite my tongue. She would also lean forward into one's face while expostulating or telling a story while clutching onto their arm all the while. Sadly, she developed renal cancer and it went to her bloodstream, and she passed away a couple of years ago. She really was the nicest person and used to get all dressed up in our university's colors on the Fridays before the football games. She was just such a character.

I don't like parents who get hostile at their children's sporting events.
ETA i decided that one isn't crazy. It happened today at my daughter's cross country meet, and I am still annoyed.
So, other than I also have the problem of thinking people who talk slow are less intelligent, here's my actual crazy bias: taller people are more adult like than shorter people. FWIW, I'm 5'4". So, I'm still a child apparently. ;D

Has anyone ever heard a grown woman talking in baby talk ( other than to her baby, grandbaby, or pet ) ? Once in awhile, I've run across a woman with that habit. It seems really weird.
FWIW, my husband speaks very slowly. He says it's because his brain processes his thoughts differently than most other peoples'. So, I've slowed down my speech to somewhat match his. It's very calming in some ways.

Not sure why but people are amazed at my typing abilities!

Pedicures only take about 30 minutes.. the nail salons usually have all of the trashy celebrity magazines so I catch up on all the Hollywood hubbub while I'm there...

She was a good and worthwhile person. She just talked quite a lot and clutched my arm almost every single time we talked, unless I sort of held it away from her. I did enjoy her and felt very, very bad wihen she was taken ill and passed away. She was quite young. She was just such a talker, clutcher, grabber, and dance in my very narrow cube quite a bit person. She was herself, and she was always a living Snoopy dance, if you know what I mean.

I get talking to the little kids like that but, for the love of god, stop it when you start talking to me!!!!!!!!

I don't like touchy feely people in general. I have co workers I have known for years who will come up and say "you look like you need a hug" and proceed to give me one and then say "now that wasn't so bad was it". I really hate to say "back off bitch" since I have to work with these people every day.

I don't like touchy feely people either but that's my issue because I'm hypersensitive. When I was a kid, if someone strange (ie anyone outside immediate family or my friends that had my mental permission to touch me ) touched me, the nerves where they put their hand would be screaming for the next 5 minutes. I could literally still feel it 5 minutes later. Drove me nuts but I eventually just started assuming I was getting touched (hand on arm, shoulder; hugs from people) and got used to it.
