I think people who hate kids are weird. Huh. I've always assumed they were just much, much smarter than the rest of us.

Muffin tops. I'm not exactly svelte, but why would I wear something that emphansizes flab in the middle? Because somebody doesn't want to buy a new waredobe as there's no excuse why she can't lose the weight to fit into her clothes again normally.

I've gone from a size 4 to a 6 this summer and I *refuse* to buy fatter clothes. So I embarrass myself every day by sporting a muffin. I figure a little embarrassment will motivate me. ;D

In no particular order, a partial list would include:
People who have plastic/silk/fake plants in their homes;
People who can’t pass a mirror without looking at themselves and adjusting something;
Happy drunks who are all about the love and nothing but the love, when they are inebriated;
Idiots who paint their team colors/logo on their faces/bodies;
People who are obsessively polite and keep wishing you a good/nice day;
People who say things like “youth is wasted on the young” and think they are being profound;
People who carry fistfuls of jingle jangle change in their pockets;
People who can’t stop talking about their jobs in social situations (your job is friggin boring and I don’t want to know about it);
People who walk really slow, as if they are strolling down some stunning European promenade when in fact we are on a gritty street trying to get from point A to point B…move along, there’s nothing to see here;
…and on and on. I don’t know how crazy these ‘biases’ are, but they are some of the harmless things that bug me.

I am bias against people who claim they watch NO television. Not that they don't watch much but that they watch NONE. I always just assume they are lying and trying to make people think that television is "beneath them."

Or, they pretend they never heard of the show American Idol as if they only watch "serious" shows or something.

going from 4 to 6 isn't a muffin top. I'm talking about squishing a size 20 ass into a 16. That's not a muffin top, that's a human sausage. ;D Years ago when I was a size 18, I knew a woman who claimed she was a size 18 also. She was easily 50-75lbs heavier than me. I can't imagine the work her clothes had to do to contain her body if she was truly buying size 18.

Okay here's another one of mine that's probably going to get me flamed: I generally assume people who don't like animals have something inherently wrong with them. that's because there is something wrong with these people!

Who does that person have to make excuses too? To herself. FWIW, I gained 22 lbs while I was pregnant with DD (14 months old now). Lost it all shortly after I gave birth and have since gained 10-12 pounds back.

This is my biggest bias and I can't believe I forgot to mention it - people who claim they can't take a day of vacation because the office would just fall about without them. I always just assume they are crazy and have over glorified their positions.

I'm not fond of dogs. I'm okay with them but I think it stems from childhood. We always had really big dogs and I was always small and felt overwhelmed by them.

Yeah, but you're buying custom made diapers so your cat doesn't have to be contained to a single room and unhappy all day. I seriously doubt that you don't like animals.

"now that i have a daughter who is more of a girly girl, i have really begun to take notice of these things and now am finding the enjoyment in a lot of that stuff that just never occurred to me or interested me before. " <<wipes a tear from eye>> My dd is a huge girly-girl, too...I dont' now how I would react if she wasn't...I don't understand ugly shoes!lol My DD is a girly girl, and I don't know what to do with her. Please help me!!!! My biggest fear when I was pregnant was that I would have a girly-girl. Thank God I had a boyish boy instead. My mom was a girly-girl grown into a girly mom and it caused her no end of distress that she birthed me, a boyish girl into horseback riding and science instead of ballet dancing and chick lit.

My fear is that DD will turn into a girly-girl as her mother and grandmothers are not. She's 14 months old now and as of right now, she doesn't care if her clothes are dirty. She's a skinny kid and likes to eat so she does wholeheartly! Times could change though.

I have two boys, so I can't speak from experience, but what is wrong with girly girls? The world needs its share of girly girls. Oh and beerwench, you are really on today. ;D

"2. assuming that Latino/Mexican people doing manual labor are illegals. It's not right, but there are a LOT of illegals in our surrounding area."
I'm the same way. Pretty much anyone who speaks spanish around me I suspect they're an illegal. Even though I know that's not always the case.
"People who walk really slow, as if they are strolling down some stunning European promenade when in fact we are on a gritty street trying to get from point A to point B…move along, there’s nothing to see here;"
Especially when you're driving. Like trying to turn into a target and you get somebody just slowly moseying along, blocking your path...

Crazy bias - People who blog for hours on anonymous messages board about random topics probably really don't have much of a life and must a bit off. Crazy, huh?
