Bank stocks took a hit. Might want to add some cash to your home banking systems.
Next thing you know , you'll wake up and only be able to draw a few thousand out a day. While taking a 60 percent haircut on your savings.
Hey comrades!

And today because of factory orders.... Lol... Wait, so there IS something to this US manufacturing comeback? Who knew? TooT TooT! You should see the yard full of new pumpers just ready to go Frac all those new wells in West Texas.. Also Sand haulers and Mixers for sand and water with the all those 2500 HP pumps. 15,000 brl a minute.. Did I say water haulers And New Vans... Command centres on FWD Super heavy 6X6 with six computers and wire control to control up to 40 pumper running a one time.. Did I say new 4X4 Ford 250's... What factory? Just a thought, BiMetalAuPt I would love to see that. However, I would like to see some of those pumps being gravity fed with no need for diesel fuel..
The USA factory is going to be able to tell Iran to go screw themselves soon, and that is one of the issues facing us now isn't it. I'd love to see the numbers on some of those leases as well BiMetal.

markets go up
markets go down
doesnt matter in the long run.....
prices will correct themselves as the earnings change
only matters if you need to sell.....and if that is/was the case, you shouldnt have money in the market
the issue is whether or not 10 years from now, GE will be worth more than the $ 22 it is currently at
Or if DOW chemical will be worth more than the $ 32 it is currently at
and during that 10 years, both companies will pay me 3-4% annually just for holding them
not a bad deal...considering that 10 year treasuries are paying what 1.85% annually

I am a fan of GE. since I knows and relate to the company for over 25 years. The growth rate of GE. is slower than high flying tech company but they are more diversified in all sector of economy.

Theres still no substitute for the US of A. The Fed is supporting the economy as it is being repaired. We will come out of this stronger than ever.

The Comex set up and ran by jpm and how the great buys are swelling TooT! TooT! as if you are helping to support theft and mismanagement along with with demise, then such jibberish would be spot on. Those that would have you set up to believe in such as good things are really fools. And to tell you the TRUTH,I don't personnaly think that there is that many dumb, dumbs around as we have come a long way down the rabbit hole.
Ok.....since damnitagain "liked" this post, maybe he can explain it to us so that we might come one more step closer to understanding this language.

Frankq , we talked about comprehension on another thread. I know exactly what decoy is saying. I find it odd that a grown man can put so much energy in trying to ridicule decoy. You have more than one thread just for that purpose. If its not a thread started for that purpose your conversation turns to His post or remarks sooner or later. He post news and comments on it . Nothing more nothing less. I would rather read the information from him than anything you have to say.

Oh....it's not so much energy at all. You guys provide plenty of grist for the mill with the nonsense and intentional misinformation that you both post. I burn nary a calorie responding. Neither he, nor you, is interested in an UNBIASED account of anything. You quote sources that are questionable at best to support your extreme and inaccurate views. It's only "news" if it's real. You guys take a morsel of truth, add a pound of nonsense and call it a meal. It appears that the post you source is directed at me and others as an insult. I responded as appropriate. I didn't call him names. I am illustrating the FACT that speaking in tongues does not make you sound any more intelligent. Any view other than yours or his is a lie, propagated by "fools" and "thieves" regardless of the information we present, from a variety of sources. Ridicule is how you guys operate and it's what you guys understand. Since you enjoy his posts so much, feel free to stay on his threads and read them. You're certainly not making a case via the facts for much of what you say on my threads. You sound like, the same bitter guy, that lost a bunch of dough in his 401K a few years ago and never got over it so the world sucks. Too bad. Should have held on a little longer......
I would rather read the information from him than anything you have to say.
Really? For a guy that isn't interested in what I have to say, you spend a lot of time on my threads. If they bother you, stay off of them. As the mods say, there is an "IGNORE" button. The really interesting thing is, other people actually post on my threads.........unlike some others out here.

MARTENSON CALLED IT RIGHT IN 2008!! S&P500 OFF 40% NOW PER HIS.. SOUNDS LIKE THE PROJECTION OF MMXV-ALPHA LOW CALL.. ADD TO THIS THE BULL PROJECTION YOU GET WHAT IS QUOTED. S&P 500 May Fall More Than 40% By Fall: Chris MartensonBiMetalAuPt. .Sell in May ? and Eat Texas beef and wine.. Make your Texas 1015 Onion Soup.. See Soup for system.. Mine!!! finance.yahoo.com/blogs/daily-ticker/p-500-may-fall-more-40-fall-chris-120957460.htmlEven though the S&P 500 (^GSPC) and Dow Jones Industrial Average (^DJI) are hovering at all-time highs, Chris Martenson, author of PeakProsperity.com and the “Crash Course” Series, is forecasting a major market correction. Martenson predicts the S&P could fall 40% to 60% to the 600-800 level by this fall. His last major market call was in March 2008, before the financial crisis. Related: U.S. Stock Market Is 'Overvalued, Overbought and Overbullish': John Hussman The Daily Ticker’s Lauren Lyster sat down with Martenson at the 2013 Wine Country Conference in support of Les Turner ALS Foundation to get his market and economic predictions. "I see recessionary signs all over the landscape. In particular, Europe is already in recession [and] Japan is already in recession," he says. "We are looking at global economic slowdown." As for corporate earnings, a stronger U.S. dollar could bring down profits this year, Martenson believes. Corporate profits currently account for 11% of GDP, which is way outside the norm of 6% of U.S. growth. He's also bearish on the U.S. economy and sees weakness in sectors that have shown improvement like the housing market. Related: The Real Reason the U.S. Economy Won’t Take Off Will the Federal Reserve's $85 billion monthly stimulus program continue to inflate asset prices? "Fundamentally there always has to be some connection between where markets actually are and their price," Martenson says. He believes the Fed's monetary policy has reached a point of diminishing returns and could result in "a pretty significant" market pullback. Right now he's telling investors to sell in May and go away -- the same advice he gives every year. "This is not the time to be greedy," Martenson JIM CHANAS AGREES.. Bruce,
I read your material, particularly this from :The Real Reason the U.S. Economy Won’t Take Off
If you want evidence that the U.S. economy is rebounding, forget analyzing common economic indicators like home sales, retail sales, consumer confidence and manufacturing data. Economists and individuals need to track just one key measure of data: oil consumption. That’s the thesis of Chris Martenson, author of PeakProsperity.com and the “Crash Course” Series. Martenson says oil has always been very tightly associated with economic growth. Oil prices have not returned to their 2008 all-time highs and that’s not necessarily a good thing, he argues.
“If you want to have economic growth you’re going to need growth in oil consumption,” he says in an interview at the 2013 Wine Country Conference in Sonoma benefiting the Les Turner ALS Foundation. “Oil is the lifeblood of any economy.”
With all due respect for the authors, I couldn't disagree more. Anyone that truly believes that actual demand drove prices to $140/bbl. in 2008 must be slightly high. Oil at $140 was due to massive speculation and manipulation, not demand. Demand for oil did not double over a matter of months. I would wager that oil at $140 would kill the economy since oil is a integral raw material in our society. Martinson also does not discuss natural gas and the huge increase in it's utilization and in it's supply as it relates to the economy. Oil at $140 means $5-$6 gasoline, increased costs for product transportation and production and these increases are sure to outstrip any wage increases, particularly when the speculators jump back in. That means less money for consumers and businesses alike to purchase finished products for home and businesses. That means less economic growth. While I agree that oil is the lifeblood of our economy, like any entity dependent on blood, blood pressure a too high a level is deadly.....
By the way, John Hussman has to be the only guy running a non-hedge fund that hasn't made money in the market over the last year or two...
That said, there is always a time to take profits and step away from the market, and we could be getting close to one. I think there will be a better price point to re-enter down the road. I'm not going bearish, but I think traders will be traders and take the market down some. That's pretty much standard operating procedure.

I agree FrankyQ. Plus the 12 to 15 Million cars sold each year for the last 4 years are much more efficient than the cars they are replacing. Along with conservation, Nat gas, ect that has to be considered.

The Comex set up and ran by jpm and how the great buys are swelling TooT! TooT! as if you are helping to support theft and mismanagement along with with demise, then such jibberish would be spot on. Those that would have you set up to believe in such as good things are really fools. And to tell you the TRUTH,I don't personnaly think that there is that many dumb, dumbs around as we have come a long way down the rabbit hole.Ok.....since damnitagain "liked" this post, maybe he can explain it to us so that we might come one more step closer to understanding this language.

Yeah, I think these guys would love to have a second chance to buy in at a 40% discount.........LOL!! frankq, Expert 50/50 did it in Oct 2008 and March 2009!! Ready to do it again.. Back up to 20% T-Bonds.. I have been selling stock into the Bull to remake the balance..Also use 100 for T-Bond value as I will not sell it.
Now what to do with HNZ Cash?

Bruce sells when that VIX bottoms, as it has over the last three months.....good advice..... No doubt. Like I said, we may be close to the point where it's prudent to take some profit. Lots of talk of Jap money coming in though. Still like the decent yielders. I trust Bruce's judgement before Martenson. That guy must be on the needle .........
