Hmmmm. Good question, Roselia!
Well, we know he doesn't have faith. (He only believes what he sees.) And, he thought he had defeated Jesus when he died on the cross. He definitely has anger issues, since he likes to kill & destroy.

I learnt the Devil is created out of Fire/Darkness. Angels out of Light.
What we are made up of may affect how we behave and react to different situations. Consider DNA and humans. A single mutation on a gene and we're affected.
If the devil is made up of fire then that explains his behaviour.

Also do we have many devils since we're always told about the 'One Big Nasty' Devil that was responsible for Adam's and Eve's exit or do we have many devils including baby and kinky devils  since we have been taught that angels do come in different forms and with different responsibilities as Idin has kindly mentioned. |

I've never looked this up, but I heard when the devil rebelled, and lost, that he and about 1/3 of the angels that were with him were forced out of Heaven. Maybe those former angels are now demons? If I ever have time of my own again, I'd like to research some of that....

The way I understand it is satan was one of God's most beloved angels. He was jealous of God and wanted His power and got a few of his buddies to try to usurp God. It didn't end well and satan was cast out of heaven.

The devil was once a high-ranking angel who was originally perfect in all his ways. At some point in the past, he was overcome with pride and instigated a large rebellion against God. The Lord reacted by kicking the devil out of Heaven. It was such an uneven match that Jesus described Satan as falling from heaven as lightning. It sounds to me like a not well thought out corporate attempt at a hostile takeover.  |

It's my understanding that mankind got so dark and evil that something had to be done. Keep in mind for every action (s) there is a reaction. Boco evil equates to a balanced outcome. Mankind was given a number of opportunities to change their ways. All they did was laugh at the ones who provided the message. If a person doesn't believe in God or the Bible, then they would consider this just a story and not historical fact. |

Wow... what balls he musta had. Absolutely massive! Damn... I thought I was badass for spray painting a weed leaf on the side of a parked riot van when I was younger... but instigating a rebellion against God...  he's raised the bar substantially with that one. That's a lot to live up to. |

If you "knew" that if you had children and some of those children would choose to go down a terrible path in life, would you choose not to have any children then at all? If I knew that my child would become the equivalent of Stalin, and responsible for many atrocities, then no. I wouldn't have children at all. |
