Dogmom I plan to hit Jewel/Albertsons on the libby and a couple other items Tue.
I plan to use the Mentos coupon (if I got it-have not checked yet-today chore) at WAG this week.

Dogmom: osteo bi-flex regular price at Walmart is half of CVS and walgreens. Thanks Bunnysmom. I hadn't seen it in the Walmart closest to my home, but did check the price on line. When we run low, I'll certainly check there first!

Dancin: I read on SD that the sandwich bags are not part of the deal to get $5.00 in UPS. Unless you need sandwich bags, you can return them and get the other bags. I do a lot of shopping at Rite Aid and have them put the return on a RA giftcard. I navigated my way around the site to find the post that you saw. Did you read the rest of that thread today? Wow, those gals are REALLY mean. I don't know what the heck the gal they were talking about did to them, but they were calling her some REALLY BAD names. I was quite shocked. ETA: I went back and re-read the SD thread and it was a guy that was making the rude comments. I guess he got schooled by one of the gals on WUC and he didn't like it. Just another day at Slick Deals unfortunately. People get really nasty there sometimes, especially on the RA thread.

Just another day at Slick Deals unfortunately. People get really nasty there sometimes, especially on the RA thread. And we thought that some of the YMers were mean. Yesterday was the first time that I actually figured out how to navigate the site. Maybe it's gotten more user friendly than the last time that I tried. Anyway, that thread completely turned me off. On the other hand, they seem to have complete freedom of speech so I assume that they can talk about glitches with deals and coupons and the use of multiple cards etc. where it is completely the opposite on WUC. There you cannot post Transaction #1 and Transaction #2 using a different card. And on some forums (CVS for example) the FLs do not like anyone questioning them in any way. A couple of weeks ago several of us were disagreeing with one (or maybe more) of the CVS FLs regarding the "proper" usage of the $/$$ cosmetics CRTs. After a few people chimed in and disagreed with the FL and provided evidence why her logic was flawed, the thread was closed. So those two sites seem to be one extreme and the other.

The last time I made a post on SD was a couple of years ago, and I was totally bitched out for using the initials RP to refer to the red plum. I can take a certain amount of internet PMS, but not over something that stupid. Especially when you can barely find anything that you're looking for in the jumble of a website to begin with. I'd rather miss the deals.

Check your cvs coupons from the red machine the last couple weeks. BFF and I both had a $1/1 Dial hand soap CRT and it's .99 this week, so FREE! The red machine was CRAZY today. We were scanning 4 and 5 times and it just kept giving coupons and giving coupons! I always make a point to stop by cvs on Monday, just the scan my cards, cuz historically, I always get the most CRT's on Monday!

Dancin I could NEVER navigate the SD site. Maybe I need to try again. Hot Coupon World is another site where the FL are their own G-ds. I mentioned before how I have been “forever’ banned by one who is no longer even there.

On Proboards, nothing gets shut down unless people are really going at it. On WUC, the discussion was EXTREMELY civil and it got shut down. I haven't checked that thread on SD today, but I doubt they'd talk that way if it wasn't allowed. The poster was badmouthing WUC and a WUC poster in a very derogatory way; maybe that's allowed.

I need an opinion about a CVS $3/$15 beuty club members off any beuty purchase CRT.
i wanted to do the Dove deal but I only have 2 Dove $2/2 coupons but I do have 2 0.75/1 dove deod coupns and I could use some deod. I can't remember if deod is a beuty club purchase and I would only have $12 in shampoo. Would this coupon still take or would it start beeping like it caught the Unibomber?
TIA!

I would expect that it would not beep. CVS coupons are generally very flexible in terms of what they are coded for. Deodorant does not count for the beauty club, though, so your cashier may have a problem with it.

I'm pretty sure it will not beep. I still can't keep track of what is considered "cosmetics" and what is considered "beauty club". I have to rethink it all the time. I used a cosmetics CRT on the Physicians Formula anti-wrinkle cream. It did not beep, but the WUC people claimed that only make-up items are "costmetics". I still don't agree, but maybe I'm wrong.

SAFEWAY JUST4U
Okay, someone remind me because CRS is setting in....maybe. On my J4U I got Oceanspray Ruby Red / 64 oz. $.99 - ONE TIME. This means that I can buy as many as I want in the same transaction, right? But I can only buy them that one time.
This is a pretty good deal as they are regularly $4+, so I think I'd like to stockpile about (10), but I wanted to make sure I'd get them for $.99 ea. before I did it.

NEVER MIND!! CHARLENE TYPED THE COMPLETELY WRONG PRODUCT. THE SALE IS FOR HILLSHIRE FARM SMOKED SAUSAGE. SAFEWAY SHOPPERS $2.50 Hormel Smoked Sausage (starting 8/8) -2.00 $2/1 (8/5 SS) $..50 OOP If any of you got this Q and don't shop at Safeway or won't be using it, I would be extremely happy to take any you have to spare off your hands. ;D It's interesting because MFA shows the product on her Safeway preview, but does not show the most recent, high valued coupon. I am beginning to realize that sometimes her info is not always right on. ETA: Okay, this is weird. The $2/1 Hormel isn't showing up in the coupon database which is probably why Charlene missed it. That's kind of freaky. Did anyone else get this coupon or am I in the Twilight Zone?

I did a small transaction at my local CVS. I had a CRT expiring today that I wanted to use for the Dove deal. I got
4 Dove conditioner.....................12.00 2 degree deod.............................5.00 subtotal......................................17.00
Minus 2 $3/2 Dove MCs...............-6.00 minus 2 .75/2 degree MC's...........1.50 Beauty club CRT $3/15.................-3.00 Total.............................................6.50
I paid with a $5 ECB and $1.50 OOP and I got a $5 ECB. ;D

dancinmama,
I did not get the hormel sausage in the 8/5 SS. Could it be in any other insert?

dancinmama, I did not get the hormel sausage in the 8/5 SS. Could it be in any other insert? saveinla: That doesn't surprise me because here it only came in the smaller metro paper and not the major metro paper (which usually aligns pretty well with what you get in your major metro paper). But thanks for checkin' for me.

OMG, I can't believe it. On 8/19 Rite Aid is doing the GC deal AGAIN!!
I guess they know that I want to get out of RA so they keep doing this deal to keep me in.

Dancin I did NOT get the Hormel sausage q in the Chicago Tribune. I would use it.
It is interesting to see how much I spend at Safeway vs. Albertsons. I thought I knew. Back a couple months (May?) ago Discover had high cash back deal on groceries. Just before the deal ended I bought $25 gift cards at each. Realize, if the bill is low ($2/less) I generally pay cash. As of Tue I had only $8.22 at Albertsons but about $20 left at Safeway. I thought I spent WAAAY more at Safeway since I pass it at least 2x/week, but realize that is the same for Albertsons and they have all those price match, J4U and personalized coupon deals.
That said, I spend WAAAY more at my local independent stores and fruit/veg markets.
Neither of the Albertson’s/Jewels I was in on Tue stock ANY Libby canned items.
Our ads are published on Wed for Wed/Thur start grocery sales. NOTHING at my natl chains-AGAIN!!! Nothing at any of my 3 fruit/veg markets. Nothing at 1 place near my Dad. Guess my remaining $$ this week is going to Aldi or the other place near Dad.

Thanks to everyone who looked. I don't need the Q. Charlene had typed the wrong product in her matchup for Safeway. She put in Hormel instead of Hillshire Farm. I guess she didn't realize what she had done, until I brought the $2/1 Hormel Q to her attention.

Last night I hit my 2 local grocery stores and ended up with: chicken breasts .99/lb Powerade 15/$10 -- DH takes them when he's working outside or golfing. This is the cheapest I have found these anywhere and they're a huge bottle! BOGO Purina dog treats + used 4 $1/1 coupons on those ice cream bars $1.88 - $1/1 coupons, bought 4 boxes Honey Bunches of Oats $1.88 - (2) $1/1 coupons, bought 2 boxes Cornbread .59 cents, used (2) $1/2 coupons, bought 4 I bought 6 Herbal Essences Conditioner and 1 Satin Care shave gel, which came to $20.xx. I used (3) $3/2 conditioner coupons and (1) $1/1 shave gel, which brought it down to $10.xx, and received a $5 catalina. This didn't print right away but the CS girl printed it for me, no questions asked. I also bought 2 packages of Sparkle paper towels for $5.88 - (2) $1/1 and a package of napkins which gave me another $5 catalina. The paper towels should get us through the rest of the year. Otherwise I did stock up on some fruit and veggies, etc. so we should be good now until we get back from a weekend away next week. I was pretty happy with the purchase! Tonight I'm going to hit CVS on the way home and pick up a few tubes of Maybelline mascara that I love, it's 2/$10 and earn $3 ECBs when you spend $10. I have some ECBs to burn too so I'll grab those up while I can. I'm hoping for some good coupons to spit out of the magical red machine!

Dancinmama: I would assume you could buy more than one since it says "one time". But it's hit or miss with J4U. I've never tried it. If you click on print you will be able to see how it reads. There's usually more info on that list. It might then say limit one.

Ruby Red $19.58 -..3.00 $3/$10 Produce (J4U) -..3.60 Ocean Spray (J4U) - 2.50 50% off meat markdown (bacon) - 1.00 $1/1 Open Nature $..9.48 OOP The scanners were down at CVS. BOTH OF THEM!! Ladies, I have not had much time to keep up with the CVS deals, but I wanted to share about the Aldi diapers for those with little ones. They are $5/pack (my normal stock-up price for diapers). I expected them to be poor quality, but they actually work well for DD with no leaks or issues! Their wipes are $2.99 for a 3-pk refill (or $1/pk).
And now I need to go check out this deodorant deal at CVS. We need some around here - the stockpile is dangerously low. I did see some great Walgreen's clearance the other day that I need to go back to check up on.

If you bought 8 would you get two cats? or do you have to do separate transactions?
