HOUND ALERT: $1/1 Capri Sun ( www.coupons.com ) If anyone else is willing to print, I'd sure appreciate it. These are great for road trips and as soon as DH retires, we plan to hit the road so I'd like to stockpile. THANKS again!! I printed two from work if you want them. If they are still available, I can print two from home. Please pm me with your address if you are still interested. dogmom: Oh, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! Is there anything that I can send you in return? I'd send you my firstborn son, but he's unofficially spoken for at the moment. Please let me know.

Dancin - e-mail you one (that's all it would let me print for some reason - Hope that helps)
Heard on our local news the other night that Salvation Army Food Pantry (and others) are desperate for donations. I am sure all of your food pantries are suffering also. This would be a great time to go through your stockpiles and donate.
I haven't been couponing much lately but I am going to go through the as and see if any of the 10/$10 items have coupons for either free or darn close so I can gather them together to donate.
It's been a real long time since I have visited this site because I think the deals are just plain bad these days.
On the bright side, my town is in the process of erecting a new CVS store (the only one here) so hopefully they will have some good deals!!!!

$1/1 NORTHERN BATH TISSUE COUPON ALERT (12-ROLL PKG)If you go to www.myfrugaladventures.com , there is a link to a Facebook coupon for Northern. I know of no sale coming up, but I haven't seen a $1/1 for Northern in a very long time, so I thought some of you might be interested.

twinmama: I tried to print, but there was no Lays there. Maybe it's out of prints or maybe I'm just an idiot and can't figure it out. I even tried opening a new brouser page and getting into the site and still no Lays was listed. So sorry.

Dancin The Lays coupon went out of prints REAL quick according to a local blogger.
Last week I was kicking myself because I had misplaced a CVS coupon for supplies my Dad uses regularly that also was on sale. Lucked out. Had to stop on Fri because Dad was almost OOS. Price is even better this week (by $1) AND the magic machine spit out a coupon for $1.50 MORE than the one I lost.
Passed one of my bread outlet stores Fri. BIG signs in the widow: White bread 0.50, wheat bread 0.50. Bought 2 of the last 6 wheat (already have some in the freezer).
Anyone here have/go to Dollar Tree? I won’t get there until at least Tue (the big, good one is near my Dad) but I would be interested in seeing (hearing) how the coupon acceptance is going. Both my local stores are owned/managed by India Indians and, as a generalization, they are NOT particularly coupon friendly/welcoming. I also suspect that my stores will stop carrying anything that is a natl brand that might have coupons rather than have the employee expense/reimbursement delay of dealing with coupons. They already carry VERY few natl brands but I sure would stock up on an item like Limeaway.
One of my local independent stores had chicken leg quarters on sale this week for 0.69/lb in 6 lbish bags. I am thinking of getting 2 bags: one for grilling over mesquite now and one for chicken soup later in the fall. I do NOT do/eat soup in hot weather. I do not expect chicken to remain/be this cheap for a LONG time what with the cost of feed and normal winter price increases.

Holly, I stopped at Dollar Tree this morning for an extra newspaper. Funny how the early editions don't have the CVS nor Wags ad. Anyway, I asked about their coupon policy. I was told they will not accept Internet prints. They will accept manufacturers coupons from an insert only. The cashier I was speaking to didn't think that there would be too many coupons used due to the amount of national brands they carry and size restrictions. If you pay attention to the sizes of many of their items, they are smaller than where you see them other places. So, I can see that being the case. On another note, the Trib (at least the one I got) had the $1.00 off four Libbys. The Dollar Tree that I was in had them marked down to .65/can with 2013/2014 expiration dates. Not the best price I've seen for canned veggies, but certainly not the "new lower prices" current price at the Jewel for $1.25 each. ETA: Dancin, your envelope was mailed this morning. I was going through this week's inserts, and inside the Redplum there was a $10. Pfizer rebate, if you purchase 3 of the items in the ad. ThermaCare, Centum, Advil...CVS has $4. EB when you buy two (example Advil) Makes them a money maker after coupons, EB and rebate, right? Might be worth looking into. (I got a $4/$20 coupon in my e-mail, maybe even better?)

Dollar Tree coupon policy--------(Dollar Tree is headquartered in our area and this was the announcement in the local daily paper -- The Virginian Pilot). ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dollar Tree outlines its coupon policy on its website. It will take “original and intact manufacturers’ coupons” but no retailer-specific discounts. Customers can use only two print-at-home coupons from the Internet and cannot redeem any discounts greater than the price of the item. For more information about Dollar Tree’s coupon terms, visit www.dollartree.com/custserv/custserv.jsp?pageName=TermsConditions. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, corporate will take our IP's - but I agree that many coupons will be for a larger size than the size they carry. Dollar Deal (also owed by DT) has taken coupons for two plus years now and does stock the full size products. edit for typos

I was planning on buying (2) more on another card, so hopefully I'll get the rebate form in my RP and you are allowed to buy (3) of the same item for the rebate. Thanks for the heads-up!!

Hey guys...sorry..I have been MIA for a while..I have been undergoing a lot of life changes recently and just trying to keep my sanity straight. My husband is separating from me, moving 180 miles away from us and I don't know how long this is going to last, my son was diagnosed with autism, my mom got really sick and landed in the hospital (shes better though), I had an odd mole removed last week for biopsy, and now I am experiencing severe back pain, but I think its stress related. I am also going to school full time online and I am still active duty...however, I am in constant prayer to God and have faith that he will get me through these trials I am facing. I have never been so lost, alone, and confused ever in my life and every single day is a challenge for me. When I lay down at night, I just thank the Lord that I made it through this day. I am seeing a chaplain and a counselor right now to help me cope with my husband leaving us...I still can't believe it and probably won't believe it until he packs everything he is taking and leaves us. My head knows its over but someone forgot to tell my heart. So as you can see, couponing has definitely fallen off for me because I am barely keeping it together now as it is. I'm so sorry you are dealing with all this, TM.

Dogsmom Before I had my Trib subscription I would ALWAYS get the paper at dollar Tree on Sat and never had an issue w/MIA ads. I also remember reading the official coupon policy and they SHOULD accept IPs as long as it is NOT for a free item. Guess I will need to go back & print it out as I have 2 Efferdent IPs that I will be using for my Dad.

Don't think I am gonna be couponing as hard as I used too, I am on this homemade thing right now from food to laundry detergent. My kids are uber sensitive to everything so I thought I would try my hand at making homemade things and I am kinda excited about it since it is a new hobby to keep me distracted. I guess I will just do a hound alert if I need something bad or just print coupons, but I think I am done buying papers. I did make that miracle stain remover and it works really well! I also started using distilled vinegar with some essential oil in it as an all purpose cleaner and it works like a charm only thing I will be needing to coupon for will be cosmetics and paper products more less

I did my Advil purchases on two different cards/receipts. I'm going to send it in cuz it doesn't specifically say that it has to be purchased all at once. It's worth the $.44 (stamp) gamble. I know that this is going to sound terrible, but I am happy cuz I don't have to step foot in CVS now until 9/21. I'm not saying that I won't, but I don't have to. My store was already out of the Gillette Fusion, so I got a rain check. Now I can wait a while to get it - maybe wait until I get another $4/$20. Rats!! I got the Simple Pleasures and DH spotted them before I could hide 'em.

There will always be coupons and sales and I imagine that you have a pretty nice little stockpile by now. It doesn't have to be all or nothing either. You might just limit your newspaper buying to those weeks that have good cosmetics and paper product coupons - and lately the paper product coupons have been fairly non-existent.

Yeah and I can make my own stuff for a lot cheaper than buying it plus it doesn't have all the chemicals in it either, which really is starting to make me nervous. I can honestly say that because I started to follow God more, that this isn't as hard on me as it could be. I am still struggling every day to get through the day but I know it would be worse if I didn't have God and faith in my life, not to mention my two little men that are fast asleep right now <3

I decided to do the Pfizer rebate and go to CVS for the product. Bought 1 Advil PM, 1 Dimetapp, and 1 Advil Congestion Relief, 1 Skippy Peanut Butter, 1 Dawn Hand Renewal and 2 L'eggs trouser socks (socks were .87 each/75% clearance price)
Used $4/$20; $2 Dimetapp, $2 Advil Congestion, $1 Advil PM, .75 Dawn, $2.00 L'eggs CVS CRT; $8 EB Total was .01 + .85 tax. Got $4 EB's back and will submit for $10 rebate.
Will return to CVS tomorrow for: Venus for beginner shavers: $8.49 3 Dawn hand Renewal $2.91 Minus 8/26 P&G $3 Venus q Minus $2 Venus CVS CRT from last week Minus 3/.75 Dawn Hand renewal Minus $4 EB OOP .15 + tax and will get $5 EB back
I'm only $2.25 from another beauty $5 EB so I think the Venus razor will give that one to me too.
I'll go to Rite Aid: 2 pro health $9.98 - $1 Pro health RA oral health coupon book q (thanks Constanz22) -BogoF Pro-health q from the last P&G insert (not the current 8/26) -$3 UPs Pay .98 + tax and get 2/$4 UPs

So one of the best things ever has happened, i got a Temp job in a Bakery....with full perks ;D. By that i mean they either over bake, have a problem with a bag, or something is not perfect, there is a whole area that staff can get anything that is deemed unsellable. OMG...r u kidding me. I am in heaven. My freezer is being loaded up and we have everything from whole wheat rolls to white Italian breads. So for a short while i don't have to spend a dime on any bread products and right now we are eating a lot of it, balanced out with fruits and some salad things. I think this will save a huge amount of money on food this month and also in the future as we are freezing bags too. ;D To be honest, we all but stopped buying bread as i though $4.50 a loaf is robbery and the MQ's seemed to stop coming out. That makes it even better because its really been months since we had much bread so we are not sick of it if you know what i mean. Anyway that's my good news. I have also stockpiled 23 Wisk laundry soaps. I really like the new smell, unlike the old one that i didn't buy. So i got these for under $2 each, which is a SUP for me as i no longer buy Tide because of there high prices. Then i managed to get 23 free poise using the peelie stickers. Glad to see some old faces checking in.

I can't remember the last time that I bought Tide. It is ridiculously expensive, but there are a lot of people that feel that their laundry comes out "cleaner" with Tide. Personally, for the type of laundry that I do, I cannot tell a difference. How nice to get free bakery products. Just be sure and watch your girlish figure. That stuff is killer.
