I never drank or did drugs in high school (or college, or ever on the drug part, alcohol I could care less about too). Wow that makes me a nerd! Thankfully my high school friends never did that stuff either.
We had a few teacher/student relationship incidents. One was the young band teacher who spent a lot of time with one of the seniors. Funny enough, he quit when she graduated college and they got married and have like 4 kids. haha.
Another one was a junior/senior and a student teacher. I know the student teacher didn't last the whole semester, so I wonder what happened to that career path!

Here is a bit of high school gossip - there was a girl who went to my high school (this is actually after I graduated) who had an affair with a gym teacher/football coach and this idiot (teacher/coach) actually video taped it. At one point he was bragging to the other coaches about this affair and they didn't believe him so this fool actually showed them the video tape One of the other coaches ended up turning him in and criminal charges were brought against him. He was sentenced to 2 yrs in jail. What a freaking dumbass!!! Ewww!!! One of our history teachers (also a coach) got fired for alleged inappropriate contact with female students. And when we graduated, not one but TWO male teachers were found to have gone on Senior Week with some of the more popular girls. And there were pictures.... They were cute, but how fucking dumb do you have to be? Even if the girls were legal, why would you risk your career? One of the guys was the son or nephew of the assistant principal. I know, right? This girl's parents were livid and the DA agreed to file charges. I know he was actually sentenced to 2 yrs but I think he only did a few months. Either way this fool completely ruined his life for a piece of underage ass. Also, his wife was beautiful. She always came to the football games and everyone knew who she was. So he lost his wife, career, and now will always be listed as a sex offender.

I really, really wish I had rebelled/been more of a bad girl in high school. I was wound so tightly back then it's a miracle I ever had ANY fun. This thread is depressing but now Miss Tequila and Margarita are my idols... they knew how to have fun without ruining their lives

Oh man, i definitely smoked a lot in high school. I once ate pot butter cookies during algebra 2! High school was easy for me so i had fun and made friends with most everyone. I still remember the look on this brainy girl's face when my ap government teacher told the class i had the highest grade on the final. Suckers!
And look at me now!

I had to be in by midnight Yeah, college was great. I could stay out all night without my mom sitting up in her bathrobe waiting for me. I love her for caring though...

I partied a lot my freshman year in college. My sophomore year I got a job to help with expenses but I still found some time...

The first time I ever had to call my mom in the middle of the night to come get me at the police station I was 12. The first time I had to make the same call, and tell here where I'd left the car so she could come get me I was 13. She seems to love my daughters, but she's been muttering about karma for years. If I have to call and tell her about my call to go pick my kids up from the police station I think she's going to laugh her freaking ass off. ETA - And getting back to the subject of the thread, I've never gone to my high school reunions. I dropped out 12 weeks into my freshman year, so I figure nobody would remember me anyway. Now that I think about it... I wonder if the early criminal record was in any way related? Nah, probably not...

Newsflash - high school coach is not the brightest.
Well, I'm glad the word is getting out. There is way too much weight in the untrue stereotype that all high school PE teachers are brilliant.

WHERE WERE ALL OF YOU GUYS WHEN I NEEDED BAD INFLUENCES?!?!?! It wouldn't have worked out. The one time I talked my goody two shoes friend into doing something stupid we ended up getting arrested. Her dad didn't want her to ever see me again, and still won't speak to me to this day. I was like directly responsible for the one single black mark on her otherwise flawless childhood record. She was pretty pissed too, but at least we can laugh about it now.

Yeah, that's probably what would have happened to me too. The one time I convinced my older boyfriend to buy me and my friends alcohol, we almost had to call an ambulance when the youngest one got alcohol poisoning. I was honestly scared she was going to die, and I was totally positive my life was ruined.
THIS IS THE PROBLEM WITH BEING A GOODY TWO SHOES. YOU WORRY TOO MUCH ABOUT CONSEQUENCES.

" Aww...see, you are a nice person...I wouldn't have realized it was alcohol poisoning and would have thought she just passed out...that my friend, is a prime target for Sharpie ARt...of course, I would have felt bad the next day when the coroner was scrubbing the sharpie art off her face

She was fine at first (sitting cross-legged, grooving to the music, happy face) then all of a sudden she looked awful, then she started puking in a way that no human ever should. Then she was passing out and waking up again. I had never really been around anyone that drunk before. I took her upstairs and put her in the shower (I don't really know why - I was drunk too, it made sense at the time!) and just sorta hoped she would get better.

That's why you hang out with the burn outs. They now how to handle their substances. More or less. Acid and road trips are always a bad idea, even if the guy driving insists that he's done it dozens of times with no problem.

That, and marijuana inhibits puking...win-win!
