Any suggestions? I submitted a $10 Sonicare toothbrush rebate in January. I have yet to receive the rebate check. My SO submitted one as well, (different address) and he hasn't received his either. How would you proceed? Did you save all the info from the rebate submission? Usually there is a phone number you can call (or at least an email).

SaveinLa,That's what I would do (buy a couple bottles.) Prices keep going up-up-up so I wouldn't wait around for a better deal. About you not getting $2 Tide q's...you can probably get them from someone on here. I'm one of a few gals who is Tide particular, and other gals have given me their Tide q's, since they can get other detergent cheaper. So that's a future thought for you. MarvHollyI had checked the Sunday Coupon Preview and the Tide values listed were low. SaveinLAThanks for the Ocean Spray tip. I love that stuff and just picked up some Allergy booklets!

I will post a hound alert next time for the Tide. I love the ocean spray too and with allergy season already here, I figured someone else might like it too.

RA trip today
Ocean Nasal Rinse 3-6 oz - 2*1.50 - used 2*0.55 MQ + 2*1$ Allergy book Q - Get 1 Up WYB2 Airwick Aerosols - 1*0.95 - used 1$ VVQ Soft Soap hand soap - 2*2.50 - get 2 Up WYB 2 Soft soap bar soap - 2*2.50 - used 2*0.75 MQ - - get 2 Up WYB 2 Sensitive Pro Relief - 2*4.99 - used 2*1$ MQ + 2*1$ QR Q - get 2.5 Up Crest Toothpaste - 1*2.69 - used 75c booklet Q + 1$ CMN balloon Q - - Get 1 Up WYB1 Oreo single serve- 2*0.50 - used 1$ VVQ Dentyne Ice 3 pk - 2*2.00 - used 2* 1$ MQ - - Get 1 Up WYB2
Used 17 Up . Paid 0.27 + tax and got back 22 Ups. This is for mostly stuff that we will use except for the Colgate Sensitive TP. The Colgate and Softsoap are part of the Colgate monthly deals and if you buy 20$ worth, you get a 10$ Up.
CVS has the Belvita biscuits for 2.50 this week, and the CRT machine is printing 1$ off Qs. Combined with the 1$ MQ that expires 4/30, this makes it 50 cents for a 5 pk box.

From what I see on the Sun ad previews this is a BAD CVS week but a good WAG week. I see 3 RR items I want. Knowing my WAG stores I need to get there at opening or they will be OOS the ENTIRE week.

I'm not liking much of anything that I see at CVS this week. I do have $18 in RR from the NasalEase. I will either buy Sublime products at 25% discount or a new Swiffer mop at 20% off (DH broke ours and it is duck taped together ).

I hit a jackpot clearance deal at the grocery store this morning. They had HUGE jugs of Finish dishwashing gel on clearance for 2.29. I had .50/1 tear pads that doubled to $1, so I paid 1.29 a jug. I bought all 7 on the shelf and probably am set for life on dishwasher detergent!

Agreed - CVS isn't even worth the drive this week.
There are a few things at WAGS, but I can't get there until 5pm so I'm guessing I'll be out of luck on some of them.
Dancin' I read that article this morning too. He/She (couldn't tell by the name) obviously has no idea how to coupon.

I posted the article and a rebuttal on each point that he made on YM for information purposes only. I hope it encourages someone or helps them realize that couponing is not for them.

What you got might have been a good buy (price per ounce), but did you really need the product? I still have a boatload of Finish products from previous freebies at CVS (both when the last high valued coupon came out and from Black Friday) and that is in spite of the fact that I gave (7) boxes of the gel tabs to my sister.

I am getting away from chasing deals and trying to roll rewards and paying OOP for items I don't use or already have 20 of in the stockpile. I'm still couponing and buying things I need and will use on sale and with a coupon, while trying to use up things I already have. I've actually done really well on food this week, which has been pretty rare. I thought I was clear on that in previous posts, but, maybe not... I did not get the high value Finish coupon, so, no, I don't have a ton in my stockpile. I've also found the powder kind/power ball whatever don't work well in my dishwasher so they are all going in my yard sale.

I went to WAGs this morning and I overheard the manager tell the pharm tech that they are putting out another prescription transfer coupon in the paper tomorrow. YMMV on that, but they were annoyed about it. They're just finishing up with the online transfer coupon they had available for April, and apparently they could never get the gift card to actually work like it was supposed to. I transferred 2 prescriptions and the manager had to activate a standard GC each time instead of the one they were supposed to use. I'm transferring another prescription to Kroger tomorrow for another $25. I wish I'd known Kroger would be doing that in advance...I would have transferred them all there instead of WAGs.

This week, Safeway stores are giving 3$ off any 10$ produce in your J4U account. Some people are getting 3$ off any 3$ of produce. SW make frozen vegetables are 73 cents per packet (12-16oz), so a great deal if you have those. Check your J4U accounts to see if you have any of these Qs. I did not get the Q last time they had this promo, but I got it this time - so 3 lbs onions, 2.5 lbs of tomatoes on the vine, 1 med sized cauliflower, a big pack of spinach and 2 packets of frozen sliced pepper strips and stir fry veggies cost me 8.61.
RA has been really good to me the past 2 weeks and now I have 50$ in Ups. I was thinking of buying the portable fan that is advertised in their ad for 29.99. It will be 23.99 with my 20% discount if that is the regular price . Has anyone ought them or have any opinions on the fans? TIA

They also had Lucerne milk for $2.60 for me, which is a really good price for my area and if i am able to use a .55 real california milk coupon, it will be ever better!

twinmama,
Glad that you can use the info. If anyone has the Qs from the machine for the POM wonderful juice, the smaller sizes are 1.50 this week and will be 50c with the Q (Q has no size restriction).

This is NOT going to be as good a week at WAG as I thought.
I was talking to a friend last night that does the ordering for her WAGs store: She Has NO clue what Starbucks Refreshers are Has NO clue they are FREE after RR this week Has NO clue there is a FREE coupon this week
I am going to hit my best area store when they open at 9 am and see what I can do. My Albertsons’s is just 2 blocks further so I am going to hit them too.
Dancin I replied, point by point, to your thread on this article on couponing in YM.

How refreshing to have a thread about using coupons.....or not without all the drama. BTW, as far as I'm aware, the Starbucks is free after coupon, but there is no RR attached to it, so it ought to be easy to get a rain check. The ad does not state that there is a limit. I won't get my coupons until tonight so chances are that they will be OOS, but you can bet that I will be getting a rain check and asking them to order more so that I can get some before the end of the week.

OK, I need to get back to this, so where is the May thread, I am all ready to go ;D Lena, let us know if there is anything that we can do to help you. If you find an item on sale that you use regularly/frequently and there is a coupon available for the item, don't hesitate to post a request for extra coupons on the thread. I guess we're close enough to May; I've started a new thread.
