V_L I appreciate your passion! However, some things I will never agree with. The Internet is how WE on here all know each other. When I see things like this.. Myanmar's Suu Kyi is ready to use Internet after years 'offline': www.google.com/hostednews/canadianpress/article/ALeqM5iVuw_uVJfGu4MRryxXqQeuk1DHUQ?docId=5725552 ... It makes me realize how powerful being connect like this has made the individual. How many attitudes do you think have been changed when a person hears that China blocks the TS protests, what they did in Tibet, ect? Or how about living there, knowing that your government is hiding things of this size? I agree that Wal-mart's practices have done harm. However, they are lending to the small business community. Which is something that you have praised elsewhere on here. They have increased buying organic foods, and have actually save some American organic farms. Something else to consider about wal-mart Could Walmart's War on Unhealthy Food Challenge McDonald's?: www.dailyfinance.com/rtn/press/could-walmart-s-war-on-unhealthy-food-challenge-mcdonald-s/rfid406516444/?channel=pf As far as reading between the lines. That's what I mean about the commie propaganda machine. They would love nothing more than everyone to think that their people are happy and not ready to revolt. The fact is that there was a 4 month traffic jam in Beijing this summer. People were having to drive for miles to get food because they were running out(Imagine going to the grocery store and finding barren shelves). Plus they have little to no bathroom facilities. While a very small portion of their people live like we do. It's a powder keg, the Chinese people will put up with it as long as they are showen' the money. That's why things like this are only the beginning of the staples that we will be exporting to not only China, but other developing nations as well.. China inks $6.7 bln U.S. soybean deal, largest ever: www.reuters.com/article/idUSN2110030120110122Obama pitches open markets as key to jobs: www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5i0uhxdb6X1boOotrQcxmRy6X-2kg?docId=8eecb0007da44c3bbc0969128a817bda

Got to agree with the Aman on this one V_L. These electronic communication avenues have created some strong friendships that we would not have otherwise.. Embrace the technology curve and instill the values that are important. I'm the same person..in person

When you see the Ruling Parties rule the Military then you will see real change in China. Just remember that Most Country's are run by people you Don't see in the limelight.

I hear you about the limelight Ty, that's what I mean about how the military used economics to get their people on our side. As much posturing as there is about a West vs. China war. Chinese foreign policy is evolving into an economically driven one. Instead of censorship driven, which IMO is directly related to the fact that they look like schmucks on the international stage because we all know know what going on thanks to the Internet. Point being that the PLA is going to have its hands full in Africa and most likely in the Middle east eventually. China's rise is going to bring a lot of eyes. It's China's turn to enjoy the limelight for a while..

Okay people were literally laughing at me last year when I was saying this exact same thing.... Chinese Firms Set Sights on U.S. Investments: What goes around... gets paid back with interest... payback is a bitch!!! Again, the Chinese see the writing on the wall. Here we are a year later, and now so do 45% of investors.

So toady John McCain says that Egypt could provide a model for the middle east and democracy. That the US should be on the right side of history and help guild them by Sept into a real election. A US university student in Cairo, was on the air talking about this euphoria that is sweeping Cairo. A new found freedom to be well, like us is the easiest way to describe it. The Muslim brotherhood has been using this opportunity to talk about their soft revolution. AKA living in peace and letting people have their own way. A Boston area University student was talking about how the US could potentially have its Internet shut off if things like Ciro were to happen here. However, it would accomplish nothing, just like in Egypt, because what they are fighting for is an IDEA!!! Plus there is this.. Some south Sudanese Christians see independence from Muslim north as fulfillment of prophecy: www.google.com/hostednews/canadianpress/article/ALeqM5gVCudIu2GLCc1GFpP8lZ4LgFfSag?docId=5808112 This freedom things has really caught on!!

Reading between the lines... Obama's comments made yesterday regarding JOB CREATION refers to "ramping up so we can export to where the customers are". Two considerations... it should occur to most that eggheads considered Finance, Law & other paper-pushing roles as "exports." That's why most major Law Firms & Banks have branches in China right now. It should also occur to each of us that the "customers" are not overseas and those that actually do exist outside the USA, buy through E-Bay first and foremost. Mr. President plans an interactive "talk" on the 25th. Flat out... if he isn't taxing the HELL out of degree'd pariah taking salaries out of our cash-less society and offering CASH incentives for us tangible productivity folks to revive local commerce at the expense of BIG... it's just a talk. The bottom line is-- no more Wal-Mart, no more Law Biz, no more "national" Banks and absolutely NO human job replacement by routine automation technology. Also... let's get communicating by mouth again and eliminate collusion via Twitter, Blackberry, Facebook and Intranet. Most of our exports are bought through ebay?
