The socialists have done an amazing job at using our freedom of press against us. It’s crazy how it’s evolved over the last eight years or so here. It’s going to be especially hard over the next few years here as thing continue to get sorted out and the market stays erratic. There is a 70% chance that we are going to have another PANDEMIC scare in 2013 to go with the US debt wall. None of this changes the fundamentals that I see because I was never counting on a boom, and I am NOT counting on one for a very long time since the govt debt level is where it is at. The fact is we are relying on countries that have to elevate slaves to fill that spending. It will happen; it’s just going to take a long time. That’s why I say buy on the dips, hold on the rips! 12,100 was still the low from the middle of June, would have been a great time to put some cash to work long term. Why will it happen? As discussed in the last post and all throughout this thread. The top has to put into the bottom to make it so that the many empires in the business world can continue to operate. This time it's the Billionaires giving it all away.

Since my posts for 2013 have had a very bearish overtone to them and recent developments in the Mid East point to a greater regional conflict, I think it's time to point out that the biggest underling trend that exists out there is still very much intact. The easiest way to demonstrate that all of the current bearish events fit into the trend of Free Enterprise, is to go back to the first post.... When has a military strategy been to build up other nations so that they are equal to you? Something had to be done after the forties because the war wasn't over, just turned cold. I know that we as humans can walk better with two legs. Why can't the world?? Don't fool yourself, or listen to the media that is always looking for the decline of America. It is possible that short term loss in jobs will lead to long term gain in prosperity for everyone. We are not talking about sections of the planet this is the whole world that is involved. These are current market events that tie this all in together!!! ...Here we are over two years later still with current events that tie all of this together, WE(The People) Win! Here's a good one. The OP of this thread is literally the world is coming into balance and dont listen to the media because the USA is going to make it. Early in 2011 this thread was outlining how the East was copying the west and how China was under serious presserue socially and financially. That because of freedom and democracy that started here, in North America, which has spread around the world, wages were becoming a serious issue in developing economies. Because of this fact, the hypothesis was that we are moving towards servicing our own economies while still operating inside of a global economy(oil exports). That was 2011, some interesting facts from 2013. More later on the Great Stagnation of 2010- ?

A couple of great articles that go into detail about what happens after the cycle that looks to be upon us. The bold is by me and it outlines how the trend of Free Enterprise is still very much intact, even if we have to go through some more tribulations to get there. Thanks JC. Even though the BRICS' $100 Billion New Development Bank is merely a drop in the bucket, it's a step towards self sufficiency for the eastern half of the world. Now, all these countries will have to start having some accountable when it comes down to their own economies instead of relying on the IMF and the World Bank to continuously bail them out. It also means that all this money that the west has essentially been throwing down the rat hole can start going to rebuilding our aging infrastructure and strengthening our own economies. Talk about a long term boon for companies that are already well established globally, and in turn the global economy. Free Enterprise, "WE the People" WIN! Thanks JC.

Who pays you to write this spin. The USA is far from accountable when it comes to fiscal and monetary policy.
BRICS is a step away from the Bretton woods system that has dominated the financial world for decades. The death of the petrodollar. The fact is they have no faith in our huge amount of debt or the declining value of the dollar.
Step one was the 450 billion oil deal between Russia and China. It wasn't paid in dollars but yuan and rubles . We talked about BRICS in length some time ago . I do believed we were laughed at . Now it's a reality and not so funny.

Damn, no one pays me to write this stuff, I do it because I have made friends on this site and I like to share my thoughts. Unlike these conspiracy propaganda rags that are out there that are filled with gold advertisements, and urban survival advertisements.... You want to know who pays all the tax, aside from corporations, read this. It's the top 10% of wage earners, the same people who own the corporations. You guys were laughed at because of the commie/Islamic spin you put on the BRICS situation. This isn't a move away from the Bretton Woods system, it's an extension of it. For starters, without the IMF and the world bank(the west) there is no BRICS. It was, in fact, big western banks that spearheaded the creation of the BRICS and coined the term in the first place. The first BRICS meeting took place in NYC, and all five members are part of the G20! All of this is either lost on the conspiracy community or they are selectively choosing which part of history to include in this line of conspiracy story they are selling(I pick the latter). The conspiracy community continues to spew that China has "lost faith" in the USD and the USA's ability to pay back debt. Only problem there is that China has bought record amounts of UST in the first five months of this year(2014). In fact, since this fantasy was first floated a few years back, China's holdings of UST has only got bigger. So while the USA may not be the best at managing fiscal and monetary policy(I never said it was) China is a long way off from "losing faith in the USA". In fact, I remember back in 2009-2010 the big story was that China was buying/owned the USA!! Hahahah. As far as a challenger for biggest reserve currency, that title right now goes to the Euro. In fact, over the last 15-20 years the idea of a single reserve currency has gone by the wayside because of the sheer volume of the global economy. The PETRO dollar is also a non issue now. Why? Because the USA is poised to become the largest oil producer in the world! Canada isn't far behind, and guess what? All these developing nations need our food and fuel to continue their development and we only accept USD. Right now I'm hoping that these BRICS can get their act together and pull this off because there is already a ton on infighting among them as China wants to be the big dog, and the others don't want this to be the case. However, if they do pull this off why is it good for everyone? Again, because they will finally be putting their OWN cash into their OWN development and this will force them to make the reforms that they have been talking about for 30+ years. As the standard of living goes up around the world and currencies balance out, there will be a level playing field across the globe. The result of this is everyone will be servicing their own economies and the west will be able to focus on rebuilding our OWN economy.

Please show me where I spun anything that related Islam and commie with BRICS ? I will be waiting. Lol, at least one of us knows what the C in BRICS stands for. Once again your propaganda falls short of the truth . Please I would like to see some source on where BRICS is supported by the IMF , Federal reserve or world bank? The only thing they have to say about it is " oh shit! " Their using our money to start up their own bank. The euro is , one Russian gas shut off away from going kier plunk . China is buying lots of real estate here in the USA so where have you been? They are buying oil in the yuan or buying rare earth metals. Wouldn't you like to have seen the Queens face , when the dollar took over as reserve currency. I know plenty about paying taxes , everybody else is poor except you guys. Painting me me as a conspiracy guy isn't going to cut it bro. Right now I am hoping we can get our shit together and get back to creating real jobs and not just zeros on the Feds balance sheet. That is not going to happen though. Teach your children mandarin ! Like you say." Lower our standard of living while bringing the rest of the world up." Thank you JC "

I'm not painting you as a conspiracy artist, but as they say, if the shoe fits. What I'm saying is that commie/Islamic conspiracy rags(Press TV, Russian State paper, etc) are trying to spin this in the media as some kind of "break" from the international monetary system. Your post above states the exact same thing, so there is your proof that your spouting Islamic/commie propaganda. The fact is that reputable economists are calling it what it is, in layman terms, it's the BRICS getting their shit together because the west can't keep dumping money into these economies. I mean, why do you think the US and other western countries have been dragging their heels on IMF reform regarding the BRICS? You do realize that they could have had all the money that is going into this new development bank included in the IMF already, right? The fact you continue to ignore reshoring, oil and gas production, farming, and the rebuilding of the construction industry tells me you're not looking very hard for real jobs. The fact you do nothing but spot slogans like "the Fed adding zeros to it's balance sheet" tells me you still don't get that the Fed remits all profits back to the UST... Are the Chinese buying oil, food and manufactured goods from the US and Canada in yaun? Are they buying property in the US, Europe and Canada in yuan? Oh, and why are they buying property here, because the US is going to fall apart? Or is it because the C is BRICS stands for catastrophe, and the wealthy Chinese are fleeing in record numbers because they don't want to hang around for the storm that is coming as their DICTATORSHIP falls apart? Oh, and since China's war chest is UST notes, I wonder where they are coming up with the money for the New Development bank, eh? Oh yeah, that's right, the new currency pool is Federal Reserve Notes!!! Boy that is a "big break" from the USD. What a slam against the USD. That a way to "shun" the USD. I mean, the Yaun isn't even an internationally recognized currency yet, for huck sakes. You want some proof about the IMF and how they have helped develop/save the BRICS over the years, sure here you go... India, Brazil, Russia. This is really the IMF/West saying "OH Shit" alright.... IMF congratulates BRICS for new fund, offers helpOnce again, I am saying it's about rising people up, I have never once said anything about lowering peoples standard of living.(Even though you doomers have been trying to say otherwise FOR YEARS.) In fact, you and the doomers that have been around here for years are the ones that keep talking about a conspiracy by TPTB regarding lowering the standard of living for the common person in the west. For the record I'm not in the top 10% of wage earners, not even close. I do love how you tried to spin it like the common man was going to have to pay extra taxes, and once you're proven wrong about that you go off on a different tangent. For the record, the Pound is still more valuable than the USD, and once again the global economy is multiple time bigger now than in the 1950's. Also, the UK literally had nothing to offer the world in the way of resources. Keep trying though! Hahahahaha Once again, we all get it that your pissed off at life. Keep making choices like "investing" in Gold because the BRICS are going to make the dollar worthless, that will help for sure!
