That is easy to explain. It will improve his ratings (thus earning power) and he knows that it won't happen anyway.
Yes, bill, I am aware of the obvious. However, what about the zombies who hang on his every word? What did they think?

I will gladly explain! Although the thread title is mine, the OP is not. I question the sanity of anyone who would publicly advocate for the re-invasion of Iraq and Kuwait to "take" their oil resources. I believe some of us need to be reminded of a little history: First of all, isn't that what the 1st Gulf War was all about after Bush 41 baited Saddam into invading Kuwait? Remember April Catherine Glaspie? whatreallyhappened.com/WRHARTICLES/ARTICLE5/april.htmlSecondly, the 2nd Gulf War was an illegal invasion by Bush 43 based on manufactured evidence and lies. Therefore, how could any sane person advocate for the re-invasion of Iraq and Kuwait to take their oil resources and shed more blood and treasure? I still feel a header like that is provocative and is not needed. It encourages more of the same from others.and since you put it up, it shows a side that you shouldn't be proud of, there are plenty of words you could use to express your thoughts that are not provocative. I don't like going back to the old site but it got so out of hand there on the headers, the moderators actually had to get together , even ones who rarely agree with each other, to change the culture there and how many words were typed before that was finally settled and it was a major improvement when they finally got the word out. I ask you, is that what you want to see here? I am taking the liberty of posting a answer for you. you post to well, forget what some may feel here, I don't think that is what you want to see here. I am assuming you want to see some good back and forths here, exchange of ideas, from both sides. If I am wrong, hell, it sure won't be the first time. Hopefully you see what I am suggesting. Provoking headers aren't the way to go. It's nothing about freedom of speech, just civility between those who are attempting a dialogue with each other. If you don't agree, then I believe you will see more of that which was stopped at the old. I'm hoping the new will only take from the old , that which was the good of, not the problems and the bad. Personally I think a header should be a introduction to a thread, gaining interest but not by provocation.

When, for example, someone reposts the entire contents of the left-wing blogosphere on a message board without ever adding a shred of their own thoughts, feelings or opinions, I would say no, they don't think...

When, for example, someone reposts the entire contents of the left-wing blogosphere on a message board without ever adding a shred of their own thoughts, feelings or opinions, I would say no, they don't think... That's one opinion, then others read the article and comment on it. Sometimes one finds a article that one is interested in, agree with, nothing to ad. Some do that a lot, some less so. I have posted such articles, some times saying that I found this interesting what do you think. Very occssionally just posting the article , no comment. Suggest you find some things of interest and try posting some thoughts on them beyond the anti this and that with a explanation that always seems to border on the principal of " because I said so".

Sorry to rain on your parade, but yes, you're wrong. Some posters are here because they are being paid to be here. They are easy to spot, as they always link to the same four or five crappy, radical hate sites and they never offer their own opinions or thoughts. It's called SPAMMING, and why it is allowed to go on here I don't know, since it does nothing to improve the quality of the board...in my opinion these posters are on the same level as the people who send you viagra emails and your friend in Nigeria who just needs your SS# and your bank details in order to send you a check for $4 million...

I can't believe you would be with someone who would be his old lady.
I actually admire your spunk and resilience Mr. billisonboard however I need not remind you that I could crush you like a freshly bloomed tulip, anytime I feel the urge to do so.

During the civil wars in feudal Japan, an invading army would quickly sweep into a town and take control. In one particular village, everyone fled just before the army arrived - everyone except the Zen master. Curious about this old fellow, the general went to the temple to see for himself what kind of man this master was. When he wasn't treated with the deference and submissiveness to which he was accustomed, the general burst into anger. "You fool," he shouted as he reached for his sword, "don't you realize you are standing before a man who could run you through without blinking an eye!" But despite the threat, the master seemed unmoved. "And do you realize," the master replied calmly, "that you are standing before a man who can be run through without blinking an eye?" users.rider.edu/~suler/zenstory/nofear.html

That rather long and perplexing response was a little too quick for my comfort. I should bid you goodnight Mr. billisonboard.

Very good.

I get this cracker stuff every time I use the term .. the righties like to take offense and whine and pretend that it is racist .. "cracker" is a mind set .. not a race .. I'm white and I do not consider all whites to be "crackers" .. crackers are folks with a certain mindset .. so ignore rightie complainers that try to diffuse the term by crying foul because they need to diffuse the issue as a racist diatribe .. it just more rightie "the best defense is a good offense"

It is not possible to be "racist" toward whites anyway because that implies someone thinks they are inferior to other races.

I guess you could call that "cute" diffusion instead of desperate diffusion
