Wow, what a pantry! Well, the hag is here, snorting and hacking away. Wonder how long it will be before I decide to leave for the day.

Good Morning ladies.
Nancy go spray the hag with some Lysol spray. Tell her you are killing the germs.

I had to come back here for my 50th post. It seemed only appropriate.

I'm glad to be moved up to a junior member. It just felt funny to be called a new member. It is still raining here, although I guess we will miss most of the cold that they thought was coming our way. If it doesn't stop raining we will be floating away.

Well if the hag can still reproduce...maybe you should have her spayed.

Technically, yes, but she is over 50 and going through the change. And don't even get me started on her hot flash moments. When those happen, they are everyone's problem.

Good Morning ladies. Nancy go spray the hag with some Lysol spray. Tell her you are killing the germs. Skip the lysol and go straight for the ammonia. We had a co-worker who used to regularly spray ammonia around the office. He claimed he was killing fleas.

Afternoon all!
Finally got a chance to post - I've been busy! It's suppose to be my slow time of year, but I've got one lady in the office out on leave of absence due to knee replacement, another lady that's only been here for almost 2 months, so she doesn't know everything just yet, and my boss has been out on bereavement due to her DH's brother dying unexpectedly (he was electrocuted on the job 3 days before Christmas - how sad!).
Whew! I'm ready for a vacation!
It's supposed to be into the 50's this afternoon, but it's been raining, so I don't know if we've made it yet or not.

NQTY...how awful for the boss' family! No rain here, just beautiful and back into the low 60s.

It actually got to 60.1 about 1:30 this afternoon. It has dropped 5 degrees already though. Of course I am stuck in the office.

Hi EFCO. Yes, temps are dropping a bit here, too. But I don't think we can complain. No snow drifts ten feet high, no black ice and last time I looked, no snow shovel in the garage.

Florida does stay fairly warm in the winter. But I love snow too much to live there year round

I think they might get a frosting in the Tallahassee area, but it only snowed here in South FL once that I know of (1976 or 1977 - I lived here at the time, but missed it).
I miss the snow and change of seasons, but I do not miss shoveling it, getting stuck in it, crashing into it, or trying to drive in it.

I have no where that I need to go, so a bunch of snow doesn't bother me at all. I don't drive if I don't have to....but is is fun.

It was just awful Nancy. I was in the office when she got the call and she was almost instantly inconsolable. The entire family is very close.
Boss came in today and we talked a little. The entire family is still upset (obviously), but apparently it was made worse by the grieving widow. I guess the BIL and her were planning on separating and divorcing, just didn't actually go through with it before the tragedy and she made a mockery of the deceased (according to boss).
I'm surprised she came in today at all to be honest. The funeral was yesterday and many miles away - you could tell she was exhausted. She's not the best boss in the world, but I wouldn't have wished the last week on anyone.

I live in the North Central Texas area and last winter we got over 12 inches of snow in one 24 hour period! It was the most snow we had seen ever (or at least in the last 60+ years). ;D It was at least the most snow I had ever seen in Texas. DH was out there trying to shovel the sidewalks (he's from Kansas) and I asked him why bother? It was gone from the roads within another 24 hours and totally gone from everywhere (including the shady areas) within 4 days. It was GREAT!!

Ow. That gives new meaning to adding insult to injury. No pun intended at all. It's just a lousy thing to do.

Exactly! No matter how much I hate my ex, if/when he ever dies and our son wants me to attend the funeral with him, I will out of respect for my son. I would never think of causing a scene regardless of how I feel about the deceased. That's just rudeness to the living.
