I have plans to start a real diet on January 1, but I'm going out in style with a last hurrah. DW made brownies Christmas Eve, a friend gave us a two pound box of chocolates, and yesterday DW really surprised me with an apple pie. When I asked about the pie, she told me "live it up. January 1 is less than a week away.

I can't teach you how to do it. I have no idea how it happened. What I'd like to know is how come it didn't happen in the days when I was so fat that I always had heat rash on the inside of my thighs where my pantyhose rubbed together. In those days I'd have given anything to shed a few pounds. Gawd! In those days even my feet were fat  The last time I was this skinny was before I got preggers the first time in 1960. MissR any idea why your metabolism is doing so well? I think mine was better when I played volleyball regularly. Since we're ordering non-caloric virtual food I'll take some nice hot tea and a brownie or three. |

Saturday's turkey carcass is well on it's way to becoming tonights turkey noodle soup. I should also have a couple of quarts of stock left for the freezer.
I thought Nancy made her avatar be truffles so Miss R. would always have a chocolate snack available.

howdy folks. I'm enjoying leftover white chili my running partner wanted to run tonight, so we did. Other than my face freezing and the cold air hitting my lungs, it was fine. I'm off tomorrow to hit the after Christmas sales with a friend. ;D |

Opti, maybe it's because I'm The Cleaning Fairy...I literally work my arse off! Last week was a b!tch...two jobs on Monday, only one on Tuesday and one on Wednesday, two jobs on Thursday. But I thought I made up for it at the groaning board  This week is more work, work, work. The only easy day I have is tomorrow. Two jobs today, two on Wednesday, two on Thursday. Dang! I'm too old for this stuff. R2D2...whaddaya mean typical? Hmph. |

Peach, breakfast looks delightful, and the quote for today is right on. Both of yesterday's clients had already cleared out every bit of holiday decoration, and when I got home the tree was gone, as were all the rest of the decorations. Glad the sun is out today.
