step workout with weights this morning; cycle circuit class tonight. yesterday was actually my 'little victory'...I had to force my self to go to the Y. Ended up doing a decent upper body workout & running 3 miles on the treadmill

Awww crap....you are going to make me want to attempt to exercise again. I nearly died the last time. I will check back in after the holidays. Angel, I've been stuck at a plateau forever. I finally dropped some weight at Thanksgiving...so I'm motivated to keep going. I'm holding steady at 1 lb/week...down 7 lbs total I always try to get a good workout routine going in December. That makes it easier to stick to working out in January when the gym will be packed for about 6 weeks...then it's back to normal

Beemermom. I try to take the stairs in the parking garage, I park on the fifth floor. But when I get into the building at work I take the elevator to the second floor

Angel, I'm afraid of those programs. It looks too intense and all those dvds! I've only done a few P90X, but I liked the Insanity better since it was more cardio and I didn't need any equipment. They are from the same company. It's sad that I made it through the 60 day workout once, but then got lazy.

upper body workout last night. I'll meet my running partner this morning for a short run, then a quick leg workout. while I was at the Y last night, somebody from the spin class came over to tell me what a great job I was doing & that he could really see the results of all my hard work

my visits to the gym are down this time of year...i have such a long commute, my gym is not near the house...so if i'm off or work from home i don't get to go

I've been doing calisthenics and some minor weight lifting stuff at home. Just trying to get myself back into the groove of working out before I make any type of commitment like a gym membership.

where did my post go??? ok...one more time: quick step workout with weights this morning. Outdoor run tonight & an upper body workout at the Y. I found some info on improving run time & run endurance. Tomorrow I'll try the endurance workout (20 min or longer run in the morning, then a 20 minute or longer run later in the day). 12/29 - Tuesday's workout went well! 4 miles on the treadmill in the morning then a full day of shopping the after Christmas sales with my friend, then back to the Y for another run on the treadmill. While I was waiting for an available treadmill, I used the adductor/abductor leg machine. Then 3 miles on the treadmill. since I woke up early today, I'll definitely get in my full one hour morning workout. Cycle Circuit class tonight.

I signed up for a training team to run a half marathon! Looking forward to seeing how I do this spring.
