REVERSE HOUND:
I've heard that some areas of the country did not get the Allegra coupon and mail-in-rebate in their Smart Source.
I don't need this item (I already got a bunch of the Walgreens brand Allegra a few weeks back.)
Would anyone like both the MIR and the $2 MQ? Just PM me if you do.
PS Dancin - I wrote that you have PM, but I see it's on the prior page. So I'm telling you again LOL

HOUND ALERT!!!If anyone has a Splenda Essentials for $3/1 coupon from today's, 7/31, smartsourse I could use them. The deal is a regional one at Shoprite. they have a catalina for $3 WYB 3. the deal is that they are on sale for $4 each so buy 3 for $12 use 3 $3/1 coupons and get a $3 cat back so they are free. Thanks to anyone who can help and if anyone needs I got a decent amount of coupons in my RP inserts this weekend. I have no idea how as I also live in the land of crappy coupons. It must have been a mistake.

We didn't have it in our inserts. P&G insert: I thought most P&G inserts were standard across the country. I talked to a friend of mine out of state who got a $.20 Dawn Q. Our area got $.50 off 1, but the other inserts were pretty pathetic, especially the one Redplum. It had maybe 6 coupons.

I will probably buy a 2nd paper tomorrow, so I'll probably have at least 1 more of the Allegra MIR's & mq if someone else asks. ETA: The coupon is for $2 off any 30 ct+. The MIR is for the 5-count Allegra. So this q and the MIR can't be used together. However, there IS a $2 off the Allegra 5 count here: coupons2.smartsource.com/smartsource/index.jsp?Link=HSPNCF4GHK42U

I had a good time hounding at Staples today, no Q's to use, but with back to school season I couldn't pass up some of the deals, especially since I'll be starting back to college soon. I even made two trips:
Staples trip #1
$0.02 2 two-packs highlighters $0.02 2 eight-packs pencils $0.02 2 one hundred packs index cards $4.00 1 six pack dry erase markers $1.00 2 packs dividers
$5.06 paid $14.96 value
Staples trip #2 $0.02 2 two-packs highlighters $0.02 2 eight-packs pencils $0.02 2 one hundred packs index cards $1.00 2 packs dividers $3.00 hole punch (fits into a binder) $2.29 staples
$6.35 spent $15.25 value
I shoulda skipped the dividers in the second trip since I ALWAYS reuse them, but I thought the hole punch was $2, not $3. There was a minimum $5 purchase before you could get the penny pencils, highlighters, and index cards. Either way, I'm sure I'll find a use for everything. I nearly laughed in the cashier's face though, the first time through. She offered to sell me their "savings pass" for $10 which would get me 15% off all of my purchases between now and mid-September, "Including today's purchase!" I politely said that it would make sense if I were making a large purchase of say $100 or more, but does not make sense with my $5 transaction. I will say that they were very well stocked on the penny items, in fact they had several cases sitting right out in the aisles.
I also picked up Dawn dish soap at RA ($1.41 for 3 bottles after 3 $0.50 manufacturer's Qs) and Cottonelle at WAGs, though I was unable to get the cottonelle Q to print, so it was $8 OOP there with $3.50 back in RR. Now I just need to stock up on dishwasher soap, deoderant, and shampoo/conditioner. Sadly, with those last two I have to be pretty picky due to my allergies.

Have a great day, hounds! I am first off to the gym to exercise, then to work. The exercise helps me sleep better at night. Menopause...UGH!

It's great for my girlish figure, but it hasn't seemed to help in the sleep department. I am REALLY lucky if I get 5 hours.

Hey ladies,,, just wanna let you know I am still here, slowly getting back in the game, sat and clipped all day yesterday, and have come to realize I need a 5+ inch binder !! Ran to Wags to get the cottenelle, complete, kids fish oil, markers, head and shoulders, etc and ran into another couponer with a binder,., was funny to see another person like me..Made the comment on how I liked her binder, wish I would have made more of a conversation, like which forums, blogs she uses if any...but I am shy...oh well, maybe I will see her again and will def. say something.. anyhoo, hope to see some good deals,, have to get ready for fall/Christmas sales !!!

madisonsgmom: Hey, it's great to see you post again. Welcome back!! I'm glad that the binder concept works for you, but isn't it really time consuming to clip, file, and then later purge. I hate to spend the time clipping/printing anything unless I know that I'm actually going to use it. I guess it (the binder) works for many though, cuz a lot of people seem to have them. Anyway, glad to see you got some great buys at WAGs. For a while after EC aired, I noticed a lot more couponers in the drug chains; now, not so much. Some people said that the Cottonelle at their WAGs was wiped out very quickly. When I went to mine around mid-morning they couldn't tell me whether or not the CAT was printing as no one had bought any yet.

I have a question for all the riteaid fans. I have a receipt with the old survey coupon offer on it. I know I can not go on line and get the coupon but I thought I read that they would honor it if you presented the receipt is that the case or did I read something wrong. Trying to plan a razor trip and would like to use it if I can. Again thank you all for your help. Don't know what I would do with out it!

I had a GREAT morning shopping today. I thought I would share. (truthfully brag but maybe someone else will see something useful. ) CVS 1st transaction 1 Bic Soleil razor $5.99 2 Skinny cow candy 1.98 Total 7.97 Paid with one Skinny cow BoGOfree MC and 1 $3.00 Bic MC and $1.98 and $2.00 ECB's. All that was left was the 0.42 cents sales tax and I got back a $3.00 and 0.99 ECB. 2nd CVS transaction 2 Always $6.00 Paid with $1.00 MC and $3.00 and 0.99 ECB's from first transaction. That left my OOP to $1.01. Then at Shoprite I did more dollar days deal. (I love them!) 1st transaction 6 barilla pasta @ $1.50 each $9.00 A half lb deli ham and half lb bologna 5.18 Total 14.18 I paid with a $1 barilla MC it spit out the cats early so I used the $5.00 cat for a total OOP of $8.18 2nd transaction 2 Folgers 2.88 each total $5.76 and 4 small steps tissues for 99 cents each. Total was $9.72. I had 3 canvas bag for -.015 disc plus a $1 MC for the coffee and the $5 cat spit out early again so my final OOP was $3.57. My grand total for the morning was only $13.18 and I am so happy that I want to imitate FrugalSuz and take a picture for everyone.

How do you guys handle depletion of stockpile? With my houseguests, it has gone way down and made me very and . The part is because they think just because there's a lot of something they can use unlimited amounts. Last week I went on vacation and there were 6 Bounty PT that I hounded. Five days later, NONE. And I hounded baby wipes for months. In the month they've been here, they went through 6 containers! WTH? Give your kid a bath instead of using unlimited wipes after every meal or outing. 16 twelve packs of soda gone in about 2 weeks. We had a long talk where I explained even though I got the wipes for example free, now that I have none and need some, I need to go pay $4 a tub for them. NOT COOL. Then on the side, I just don't like seeing the stock and all that hard work disappear. I know I should be happy I had it to use. But still, my closets look so bare.

blues,
That's a lot of PT and wipes to use. Maybe they thought they could use a lot since they were free.
Regarding wipes, if you get the All You magazine, there are 1$ off Qs for white cloud tp or tissue and the wipes are 1.50 at Walmart.

The part I don't get is who goes to someone's house for 2 weeks and brings their little kid but doens't bring supplies like wipes? This might sound cold but maybe you need to treat your stockpile with them more like I do with the halloween candy in early Oct with my kids and DH. One the one hand I want them to have a piece when they want but on the other thand I don't want them just eating it all blindly before halloween. So my answer is I hide most of it. It may not be subtle but it works. Sorry you are having a rought time of it though.

bluesclues: Two weeks of houseguests!!! Yikes and my goodness graciousness! Sounds like they should be renting the room from you! If I were your houseguest, I would certainly be replenishing your stuff, buying groceries to feed everyone etc.. Heck, we do that when we stay with friends for two nights! We consider one night to be our "freebie" so to speak and the second is on us with regard to food, etc.. That's how we stay friends!

ImaAngel-What part of KS are you in? I'm in NE KS and we have Price Chopper, Hen House, Dillons (Kroger), HyVee, Aldi's, Walmart & Target that all sell food. Nobody can beat Aldi's price on milk (1.99/gallon right now) or eggs (0.79/dozen). Everything else will depend on the store. PC, WM & Target don't double coupons. HH and Dillons do. I'm not sure about HyVee, I haven't been there since I moved out of the town that had one. Hope that helps you out a little.
