Had a good trip to WAGS after work. The Estroven was $10 with $10 RR and I had $3 Q's so I did two transactions of one of each of them and the Carmac lip balm. Paid about $8 each and got $11.50 each in RR's. Can you say MONEYMAKER. Then I needed aspirin, some pictures to be printed, two honey's (reg. $4.29 for $1.99 each and a scrub brush for .99 cents, used my two $10 RR's and paid the $2.19 tax. I am trying to go off my Prem Pro so I am going to try the Estroven for hot flashes. I have two co-workers that use it. Do any of you and, if so, how does it work? The box says it is a "dietary supplement" and for hot flashes. Maybe it will curb my appetite too??? Win/win!! Having foot surgery (bunion) Friday so I will not be doing much shopping for a few days. It's my right foot so my husband will have to drag me around. Lucky me!!!

Dancinmama, reneejune & meli-beach: Your envies are in the mail. Dancin: I clipped the whole MDA book for you and am sending 2 of the Motts. I forgot that DS took all the Motts q's before leaving for school. He hates milk but consumes juice by the gallons. DDs, on other hand, love milk. Go figure.
Reneejune: I also included a couple of Target q's for the Beneful. You can combine them with the man. q's for a better deal if the price there is less. You should be able to print some more from your computer, too.
Off to work--subbing for someone today.

You all may know this but Diet Pepsi 12 pks are on sale this week at Target for $2.50. Target also has a $1 Target q on their site. You can print two from each computer for those of you that have more than one. This is when I miss my old job: I had a room full of computers: 28 to be exact! Made this hounding game so much fun! Have to make do with one computer now. That's the price of retirement. ;D

$5/$15 STILL TAKING OFF $10 AT SAFEWAY!!
I just got back and did 2 transactions.
10.00 2 Lg. CA Pizza Kitchen Pizzas 3.00 1 Ore Ida Sweet Potato Fries 3.50 1 (12-pk) Lucerne Ice Cream Sandwiches 16.50 -10.00 $5/$15 - 3.00 Free Ore Ida Q - 1.00 Off any Safeway Generic Frozen Item 2.50 OOP
15.00 (3) Lr. CA Pizza Kitchen Pizzas -10.00 $5/$15 5.00 OOP
I did this at the self check out. I'm going back for more pizza. CA Pizza Kitchen Pizza is the only that I like and $1.67 ea. after Qs is cheap!!
ETA: THIS IS NOW A DEAD DEAL
By the time I went back at about 9:45, the $5/$15 was back to scanning $5 off. Sorry if I encouraged anyone to run out and try it.
Wow, I'm a little bummed I didn't run out and do this yesterday. Oh well. I've just gotten to the point where I don't run out to do every deal - especially those that could be "turned off" at any time. The only reason I tried it this morning is that I had the FREE Ore Ida Sweet Potato Fries coupon, so no matter what, I would get the $5/$15 and $3 for the Ore Ida leaving me $7 in OOP for $15 worth of frozen foods. Those CA Pizza Kitchen Pizza for $1.67 ea. was a great deal while it lasted.

I'm happy that I got what I did: (5) Lg. CA Pizza Kitchen pizzas, 1 bag of Ore Ida Sweet Potato fries, and 1 (12-pk) Lucerne ice cream sandwiches for $7.50 - not bad. ;D

NEW REGISTER REWARD POLICY AT MY WAGS This is THE MOST coupon friendly WAGs that you'd ever want to visit. I wanted to get some of the eggs and the cream cheese that are in this week's ad, so I decided that I might as well get the Carmex and then use the RRs to buy the eggs and cream cheese. When I went in this morning, they had a Carmex display - several of both flavors. I grabbed two of the lime and the cashier (who knows me well) told me I could only buy one each day since it is a RR item. I KNOW that this is not a result of MY shopping because I have hardly shopped much there in the last 2-3 months. I think someone has been going in on Sunday mornings and clearing the shelves because I went in last Monday morning for the Omega Smart and they were out. I went in yesterday for the Carmax and they found ONE in the back for me. So things for me at the drug chains are getting worse and worse. I just KNEW that it wouldn't last forever. No worries; I have great stockpiles. ;D

Good thing you have a great stockpile. And word is that the Carmex lip stuff is icky. I've bought just 1 of the vanilla so far. Haven't tried it, but that's what I hear from others - both flavors ick.

Q request: If any of you are not going to use the $3 Dr. Scholl's q that was in some papers yesterday, I could sure use them. We put these in all DH's and DS's shoes. DS needs the extra gel support and DH's tootsies get tired without them as he is on his feet all day when working weddings, banquets, etc.. Have to take care of his bread and butter! As usual, this q did not appear in my paper but I know it's out there. Thanks. murpath- while I didn't get the newspaper coupon, in case you didn't know there are $2 off coupons on the Dr. Scholls website. www.drscholls.com/drscholls/company/specialoffers.jsp

No problem. We'll see what happens.

Yep - the carmex will do in a pinch if it's free, but it has a bit of an smell and aftertaste. The best one is the EOS.

Meli-beach and Kathyattraverse: Thanks for asking but I think I have enough. I did print 2 from the Dr. Scholl's site. Question for future though: when you scan someone a coupon, can you print multiples? Is that considered a "copied" coupon? Just curious.
Re WAGS product limit: Since my WAGS cashiers are the world's worst, I never tried to do back to back transactions with them ever. About as tricky as I got was to do one at the reg. counter, one in the back beauty counter, and then one at the pharmacy counter. Of course, I'd bring each purchase to the car before doing another. It had to be a really good deal to do that--live the $3 melatonin using the $3 q and getting a $3 RR. I stopped each time I drove past a WAGS!
Dancin: Since they know you so well, if you were to go back the next day, would they sell you another one? Not saying you would make a special trip, but if you were going that direction anyway. I think you're right, though. They've probably been getting alot of complaints about lack of stock and if someone is coming in and clearing the shelf--well, there you go.
MissPT: You have a PM.

RE Safeway: I couldn't have run out for the $10/$15--my freezer is so full. We need a week or two to eat some of the stuff in there. I really only need to replenish produce, eggs, bread and milk for a loooong time!
For those of you with a Food4Less, and have the SW MDA booklet, the 16 lb. bag of Masterpiece Charcoal briquets is $5.98. There's a $3 man. q in the booklet. I think these may be on sale at SW this week as well with a SW circular q. Stack the $3 q and it should be about the same final price of $2.98. That's a stock price for us on these. DH won't convert to gas grill--he likes cooking with charcoal. Whatever makes him happy.

I stopped doing deals at WAGs altogether because if I didn't get there at the butt-crack of dawn Sunday morning, the shelves were cleared by the time I got there at 9 or 10 am. And I just don't have time during the week to stop by to see if they are restocked. The shelf-clearing problems really started around the beginning of this year, when "that show" really took off. I've actually built up quite a nice stockpile over the past few years just buying 1 RR item at a time (if it was a super good deal on something we really need, I would attempt another visit during the week, but it was rare that I did it more than 2X). Same goes for CVS (but we're limited on the ECB items anyway) and RA with SCR's.

leanna - did you remind them that they're not supposed to eat the carmex? ;D Sounds like I should have! Well, with so many people saying the Carmex was yucky, I had to try. I think it's totally fine! Guess we all have different tastes. Yay, cause I've got 3 more coupons and plenty of Carmex stock in the store as of yesterday. Now I have to find a different cashier than the one who will not let me buy more than one.

I don't think that these limits will deter people that REALLY want multiple items. They will simply pack family members in their cars and have everyone buy ONE. They will shop on Sunday morning and then on Sunday evening after the shift change or they will WAGs hop if there are multiple stores in their area. They will figure out a way to get what they want one way or another. That is why I am so glad that I already have established stockpiles. I'm glad to be getting the Carmex (my sister's fav brand), but I can live without it. I do have some items that I was able to stockpile because my WAGs DID allow multiple transactions, but I live in a rural area and before the advent of EC it was rare that I ever saw anyone else using MCs or redeeming drug chain rewards. On Tuesday my WAGs finally set up a display of the Carmex with many many tubes available for purchase. I rather doubt that they will all be sold by the end of the week which will result in a loss of sales volume for the store.
